We had this company come out to perform a service and the call was 175.00 for the issue our frig had already told us we had. They ordered the part, we waited all day and when they arrived at 4p, they had the wrong part. It took another 2 weeks to get the part, it was installed in 15 minutes and they charged 368.00 for labor, that's roughly 24.00 a minute for labor....no adjustment for labor. We did get a zero charge for the new part and 50.00 off for inconvenience BUT it's the non-negotiable labor charge. ITS TOTALLY OUTRAGEOUS and the reply I received was we do excellent work hence the high labor cost. I was able to get an appointment to repair my freezer within a couple of days. Andrew phoned ahead to let me know when he was arriving. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed the leak and while he was at it, found that the freezer drawer was not closing correctly so he fixed that as well. Seller sold misrepresented part and wouldn't return it. Stay away from companies that won't back up their product and have their own, odd code of ethics. I am a homeowner who bought a apart Mr. Arie Rom, owner of 911 Service Today represented as "Main Control Board WHIRLPOOL W10398151 CNTRL-ELEC." The unit was described as follows: "New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging..." The price for this unit was $182.30, which they kept. But when it arrived the part was not in the original packaging as Rom's company had stated it would be. Itt certainly was not new. Most importantly, the part was not the one that we requested. The actual part sent to us on the sticker shows W10-25 4619 688 03721 which was different that the label on the box (which was obviously repackaged) shown as "Factory Certified Parts" for a curious reason. Whirlpool couldn't even identify what the part was when I shared with them the number and the picture of the part. When I asked Mr. Rom for a refund due to this "mistake," Mr. Rom said it was unreturnable. From my guess, "911 Service Today" "services" old appliances, then take the control boards and resell them on Ebay -- or at least that is what I think they did in my case. I was one of the customers who bought their Ebay item, a control board advertised as an original and new Whirlpool product, with a Mr. Rom thought there would be no consequences. I am not the reviewing type, but I wanted to come here and sing praises for 911 Service Today. The short story is that I had another company come out for a diagnosis plus five times to fix my hot water heater tank and ended up with a proposal that meant spending well over $3,000 to correct the problem (labor only); 911 came out and I had hot water flowing again after just two hours of their time. The longer version of the story is that while the first company correctly diagnosed that I needed to replace the heat sensor, they ordered elements from the manufacturer (A.O. Smith) that were shipped to me quickly in a large box. Inside was one medium box and two smaller boxes that were cylindrical in shape and about 18 inches long. They told me they did not need to use these parts and I should just save in case I needed in the future. I did this assuming those boxes indeed contained pipes or something which was not needed. Replacing the elements from the medium box, my hot water heater continued having problems and the initial service company came out four more times. Ultimately, they told me I needed to replace the hot water heater at a labor cost of over $3,000 (including the cost of almost $1,200 to repair my HWH (which was never done). As it turned out, those two 'extraneous' boxes contained new heat sensors for the top and bottom tank. In Googling the error codes, I could tell my hot water heater was crying out for a new heat sensor. 911 came out, they quickly determined that those boxes contained the key part needed and installed and everything is good now. They removed the old and defective heat element (shown on the left in the picture below) from the top tank and replaced it with a new one from the mystery box (shown on right side of picture). I am very happy with 911 Service Today, and I highly recommend. read more

They took my clothes dryer apart to clean out lint and left several screws out when laying the top back on. When I replaced the vent hose and pushed dryer back into its slot, the top came off. We opted to wait for first available refrigerator service rather than same day since the fridge did work. It was the ice maker that was dripping and making an awful noise. So it was a couple days before the tech was able to get here. Troy was knowledgeable and fixed our problem. Excellent in every way except I had to wait a week cause they were so busy. That I. And of itself tells you something. The service technician was very professional and masked the entire time. He fixed our Microwave and got us back in business. He even replace some switches which we're getting old. They have a 45 day guarantee and Emily called about 43 days and I told her we had a problem in that the Microwave would start spinning as soon as you opened the door. I said I believe it was a switch he replaced. She wasn't so sure, but I told her to send the technician and she did. Sure enough-- a switch that was replaced went bad. He never saw this before. Used them for LG Refrigerator Warranty Problem. First they came out to diagnose the well-known compressor failure. The Fridge completely stopped cooling, duh. Okay, I'm a new customer and they came back when we got the new compressor. The technician was rude but they d=fixed the problem. Now I have a problem with my water filter. After an hour with LG, they sold me the new part. A call to 911 to request they come make the replacement for me and I'm told they won't install a pat unless they bought it. Excuse me! I have an LG part, purchased from LG with receipts and they won't come. That's 911's prerogative but it tells me suspect the same part would have cost a little different if 911 supplied it. BEWARE! Our dryer quit working during quarantine. 911 was LG's recommended repair service. They sent one guy out here, even though my husband had said it was a two man job. He comes out, realizes he needs an extra hand and reschedules for 4 days later. Two guys came out yesterday, said we needed a new motherboard. I just got the quote for it... $490! Plus the $110 service fee. Are you KIDDING ME?! We can replace our dryer with a new one for $500. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Do yourself a favor and call anyone else! I called for a free standing ice maker that wasn't making ice. They came , replaced a part and charged me 750$ Ok , little pricey. Then no ice. I call back and I said don't you at least make sure it works bf you leave. No, seemed good to me they say. So it takes 2 weeks to come back and they say they fixed something, same thing , no ice. Do again I call. They say they need to take it to the shop to observe. Ok 2 weeks later I call and no one knows anything. Then they say oh it's a different part and they are ordering it. Horrible service company. Had them come out and diagnose a refrigerator problem. They gave me quote but I couldn't have it done right away. Called over 45 days later to have the work done and they told me they have to charge me a service call again to re-diagnose the problem again even though they know what it was in the beginning. On top of that hey will come out and charge you and you still have to wait for them to order the parts. These people are just out rob you of your money and don't believe in customer service. Do Not use this company. I even spoke to the manager and he still wanted to charge me and have them come out. There prices are way out there too. My washing machine was leaking so called 911 Service Today for repair. They sent 2 guys and I paid $110, but when I washed a load later that day, it was still leaking. I called to let the company know and they said they couldn't return until 2 days later. On the next visit, just one of the two technicians arrived and worked on the machine for a few minutes. He told me it was leaking because I was using too much liquid detergent; he cleaned the machine and suggested I move to powder detergent, and just a small amount. I then washed a small amount of clothes with a small amount of powder detergent, but it was still leaking! I called the company to let them know, but they did nothing to try to resolve the issue. Thus, my negative review. The technician seemed like a nice guy, but I'd prefer someone with more expertise. They also didn't give or send me a receipt. I suggest using a different appliance repair company. read more

Have a 12 year old GE refrig that is having issues with water and a fan freezing up. Andrew did a nice job of coming out on time and explaining the situation. He was friendly and knowledgable. My issue is with the cost of the 95 service fee and then a repair cost and not being flexible to work with me after I have used them for 4 other repairs and a repeat customer. It is an old refridgerator, I am a repeat customer and the cost is high for only getting 2-5 more years of service out of it. The office manager was not very customer service oriented and very rigid and rude to me on the phone. My issue is they charged me a service fee to diagnose the issue with no repair done. I asked them to compromise on the cost and then would not compromise with the labor. The parts were 3 times the cost as what I could find on line. The office manager then threatened to charge me another diagnosis fee when I asked them to consider a reduction on the service charge. The office manager talked over me and then hung up the phone on me when I tried to explain how they were threating me with another diagnosis fee. Not the right way to treat a customer! read more
