I called around to 4 different appliance repairs companies before finding Michael at The Appliance Team, and he was the only one who was able to come by on the same day without charging for an emergency visit. He showed up only a half an hour into the 2 hour window that he gave me, with a 20 minute heads-up call to make sure I was home. Super courteous and friendly, extremely professional. He was able to quickly diagnose my fridge, which had sadly reached the end of its life. But Michael was able to give helpful advice on what to look for in a replacement fridge, including brands to avoid, styles that are most energy efficient, and even local stores that he likes. He also gave me some helpful tips on how to best take care of my dishwasher and washing machine. Seriously a great experience within an overall stressful day. I will absolutely recommend this company to all my local friends and family and won't hesitate to call them again should I ever need them.

Needed an igniter for my oven, they were the 1st that answered the phone, several called me back…read morelater. I had already trouble shooted that it was the igniter and had it all apart, this was Monday and appointment was Thursday. Checked local stores and the original Frigidaire igniter at Lowe's was under $30. It has very easy access with 2 wires to cut and connect with wire nuts, and 2 small screws. I could complete in under 20 minutes if not for my 3 herniated disc, so $30 and 20 minutes later would be cooking. They have some overhead but are a husband and wife with 1 tech that lives by them(nice guy). So after paying $252.33 for 20 minutes I contacted the wife who was very defensive and acting like she knows nothing about her business ? She promised the tech or her husband would call me to discuss the bill from February 10, 2022 and today is 29 days later and never a call ? ? ?

They ordered the part, we waited all day and when they arrived at 4p, they had the wrong part. It took another 2 weeks to get the part, it was installed in 15 minutes and they charged 368.00 for labor, that's roughly 24.00 a minute for labor....no adjustment for labor. We did get a zero charge for the new part and 50.00 off for inconvenience BUT it's the non-negotiable labor charge. ITS TOTALLY OUTRAGEOUS and the reply I received was we do excellent work hence the high labor cost. Definitely disappointed in the fee structure and requested a call from higher up and that never happened

We were first quoted $295, but after the wrong part was installed, the cost jumped to $498. We ended up paying $692 total for what should've been a straightforward fix. Even after the final repair, the oven was misaligned and leaking heat. Management refused to take responsibility or offer meaningful compensation--just a future diagnostic credit, which we don't need. Not a company that stands behind its work if something goes wrong.
