This is an amazing facility. The staff are so helpful and attentive. They got me in for an emergency surgery 10 minutes before closing and stayed late until my baby was recovering and ready to go home. Hands down our go to vet for emergencies. I've taken a pup here from accidental poisoning called them and told them we had an emergency and they took the pup into critical care all within a 15 minute time span. They induced vomiting right away and took great care of our furry friend. He's now doing great with his family, no neurological damage and is living his best life! I've also taken a foster kitten here where they provided him with great kitten food and excellent care tips. read more

Hey 911 Vet Care, I have had previous good experiences there however I have one caveat that caused me to drive my dog all the way to Santa Clarita Urgent Care Monday Aug. 3rd (40 minutes from Palmdale) rather than just drive 10 minutes to you. I called and an AI voice answered the phone, "Hello this is your AI assistant." Nope. I immediately hung up. I am a former RVT and I just imagine if I was a client calling in because my dog just got hit by a car or was seizuring only to get a chat bot. I can't support a clinic that has so little respect for clients and is so penny pinching (I saw on a website the crappy wages you pay RVT's and unregistered assistants). You need to expand your reception area and have real people answering the phone at all times. No chat bots and very minimal hold times. I don't plan to go to your hospital again unless I have to. read more

I'm verrrrry disappointed with the customer service at this establishment. it's evident that they only care about their buisness needs rather than the health of these animals. I brought in a puppy I found on the street to see if she was chipped and what vaccines were necessary for her so l could budget for her before I rehomed her. Then they proceed to say I can't get vaccines with out the inital exam which is another $60. speaking with another vet tech I know she said they were more than capable of just helping me get the necessary parvo and rabies first just to get her started at least. then few days later I return because she gets ringworm. again another money grab. they say she needs blood work and these meds. I couldn't afford it so 1 just pay for the medication I could afford for the night. WHICH WAS COMPLETELY UNNECESSAR. Thinking I'd end up taking her to the shelter the following morning. After desperately trying to find someone to take in a sick dog and asking around for help. I Find out it's ringworm and the Doctor is known for hiking up the prices and tell their techs to charge them higher amounts. Disgusting. I borrow money from a friend to take care of her and get her what she needs (because its getting progressively worse) and they quote me with more lab work and larger shampoo bottles than was originally discussed. I pay it and leave. Only to be told the lab want necessary and to call for a refund. They give me the run around saying they need to contact the lab first. I wait. Then have my friend call in to check the status while I'm in school. The receptionlist gives him attitude and cuts him off. Tells him to call back when the doctor is there because he processes the refund. I call back and she says she can't do it now but will give me a call to get the card information for the refund. 5 hours later. No call. I may have to pursue legal action next because this is unacceptable. I'm sad, disappointed and now broke as a joke because these people didn't have the decency to help a puppy in need. They cared more about the price on the receipt. I wonder how they sleep at night being a Heartless POS. read more

Since moving to Lancaster I've been bringing my 2 cats and new puppy to 911 Vet care for vaccines and annual exams. Front & back desk personnel are friendly and as well as the vets. My cat Loki is very aggressive and not social but yet they were still able to see him and conduct his annual exam. Definitely recommend. read more

Having 4.5 stars for a emergency pet clinic is fantastic! Unheard of. It's easy to criticize this type of business, when the patients are loved ones. Also, yes it costs a lot of money, but it's a business and there is no cheap emergency care. At the end of the day, the Dr's Nurses and Staff do an incredible job of managing such an intense atmosphere! read more

Went in for a feline leukemia test for my stray kitten before taking her home to my healthy cat. Was charged $49 for a physical exam that's "required" before being seen. It was never mentioned when scheduling. Told me she looked great before recommending a ton of expensive tests that should be done. Appointment was at 10, got there at 9:40, left 3 hours later. I would not recommend the grooming services at this veterinary office. I booked grooming after hearing their advertisement that it was performed by vet techs, which made me feel comfortable. I paid a $25 deposit, provided vaccination records, and dropped my dog off the next day. At pickup, my brother was charged $67 and told the service had been "discounted" by $35 due to a premium upgrade that I never requested or approved. When I later called, I was told the original total was $117 because of this upgrade. No one could explain why it was done, and despite requesting a call back from the groomer, I never heard back. More importantly, my dog was returned in distress. He was crying, pawing at his face, and could not open his eyes. My brother immediately brought him back inside. Instead of addressing the issue, staff attempted to charge $167 just to examine him and rinse his eyes--even though this happened immediately after grooming. We were then told the groomer was a third party and that the clinic was not responsible, despite the service being advertised under their business. It took over an hour of back-and-forth before the vet finally waived the fees and provided eye drops. During that time, my dog was still in discomfort and, to my knowledge, had not been treated. I've included a photo from the following morning (after some improvement), where he still could not properly open his eyes. Since then, my dog has developed additional skin irritation and hot spots. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience with poor communication and no accountability. I would strongly caution others before using their grooming services. read more

Amazing vet care! I can't thank Dr. Joseph enough for helping my dog with extracting a few bad teeth and great dental cleaning. Before finding this great place, another vet wanted to charge for an extra procedure costing over 2K that this place confirmed was not needed for my dog's care. I contacted my friend who works in the industry for a recommendation of the best vet to go to and she told me to take my dog to 911 Care. It was the best decision. This whole experience was filled with humanity, sincerity, professionalism, and ultimately, relief. Our cat was sick. I was worried about sitting in a waiting room for hours because that has happened elsewhere to me and I thought that was the norm. Not so! We were seen almost immediately and the process of speaking to techs and the doctor was also efficient while being caring and respectful of our concerns. I warned them that our cat was mean and aggressive--they proved to also be adept at managing that situation. I was totally impressed, as our original vet in Diamond Bar had outright refused to examine this cat twice before (a few years ago). The care during the diagnostic processes was excellent. We asked to see him at one point and they brought our little angry sedated boy into the room for us to love on him before they did more testing. The clinical staff we interacted with were *a-freaking-mazing*. They weren't scared of handling our angry boy-- in fact, they were just as endeared to him as we are. Besides the exceptional care, the pricing was surprisingly good and fair. We had taken our other cat to Cal City Vet just two weeks prior, where x-rays were well over $300, while here at 911 Vet Care, the price for the exact same thing was $250. And it's an emergency room! I am flabbergasted that an ER for pets has way better pricing than a normal vet office, AND you don't have to wait weeks to get in to have your pet examined. I will not go anywhere else for my pets' needs as long as I live in Ridgecrest. read more

I had an emergency and took my dog to her usual veterinary hospital and they turned her away due to them being busy. 911 vet took my dog in without a problem and was so helpful Andrea said it was no problem to see her and took my info over the phone and said they are awaiting for my dog to arrive. The doctor joseph and assistant Q took amazing care of my dog. It was the fastest best experience we ever encountered. The place is spotless and doesn't smell like animals at all. I found the front office staff pleasant and helpful. The vet tech who helped us was awesome. I had an appointment for a rabies vaccine, a bordetella nasal and to pull titers for the other core vaccines. I'm not a fan of having my dog taken into the back out of sight, because you have no idea what they're doing. Approaching two hours later I ended up asking how much longer. Finally I got to see the vet. I was a bit surprised that he wanted me to do annual vaccinations on my dog, despite the fact that AAHA guidelines for core vaccines say once every three years. This clinic is supposed to be AAHA recognized. Why doesn't the vet know the standard core vaccine schedule? He then switched to wanting to know why my dog was intact. We had an interesting conversation, which didn't look like the vet was up on the current science of increased cancer risk, increased risk of orthopedic issues and potential behavioral issues. Seems like it was just a box he wanted to check off. A couple of days later I got an email with the titer results - showing continuing immunity to Distemper and Parvo. The vet called and tried to convince me that annual vaccination was still needed. I was giving this clinic a try and I won't be back. read more

We took in our 3 year old yorkie who suddenly developed pancreatitis, if we didn't take him in when we did he wouldn't have been with us today. Our pup has been hospitalized with this vet since 9/6 and they have done everything they can to cure him. They have updated us so much which shows us how much they care. Very unprofessional experience, starting with the front desk staff. I brought my dog in for an emergency euthanasia, which was already an incredibly emotional situation. I was charged $600 just for her to be taken to the back. Shortly after, a male staff member came out to explain what they had done, but his behavior immediately felt uncomfortable. After waiting around 40 minutes, we were finally called into a room. While waiting, that same staff member came in again saying he needed to "make sure the X-rays were up." The veterinarian later confirmed that we did, in fact, need to put our dog down. Unfortunately, after that, the same staff member repeatedly came back into the room--this time to go over pricing and to ask my sister and me personal questions about our ages. His behavior felt inappropriate and made us extremely uncomfortable. If you are saying goodbye to your pet, the last thing you should experience is someone making you feel awkward, flirted with, or disrespected. I didn't even feel comfortable spending my final moments with my dog because he would not leave the room and was loudly yawning while we were trying to say goodbye. It felt invasive and completely lacking in empathy. To make matters worse, when it was time to take my dog out after she was put down, he did not appear to be holding her securely and nearly dropped her. Lastly, I was disappointed to see a billboard on the property advertising pugs for sale. As a veterinary clinic, I would expect higher standards and not the promotion of backyard breeding. read more
