We visited 94th Aero Squadron for Father's Day and were incredibly disappointed. Despite having a reservation, we arrived 10-15 minutes early and were told there would be a 30-minute wait to be seated indoors--in midday Miami heat, no less. Waiting outside under a tent with plastic chairs and bottled water does very little in the sweltering sun without a breeze. The price was $66 per person, which was not what was advertised online, but we went with it hoping for a decent experience. Unfortunately, the food was cheap, limited, and on par with a low-tier buffet. The desserts were tasteless and bland, and the mimosas were watered down and unpalatable. To make matters worse, we found a hair in the food, at which point we stopped eating altogether. But the most shocking moment? A full-grown golden retriever was sitting at a booth directly across from us, eating and drinking from the table like a person. I have a photo, which I won't share here, but I will be reporting this to the appropriate food and beverage authorities--it was genuinely one of the most unsanitary things I've ever seen in a restaurant. To top it off, a 20% tip was automatically included, which would be fine if we had received service. Our server came by once to take our drink orders and never returned. Miami has so many better brunch options at lower prices and higher quality. This was a complete waste of money and a major disappointment on what should've been a special day. My husband and I have been coming to the 94 AeroSquadron for almost 20 years! The latest management has turned the restaurant around in providing the best food and service. The waiters and staff at the front door is very nice and professional! The son's owner is running the business at the front desk and he makes sure that everything is running smoothly! I read a review by Alvaro D. that is typical of someone writing a negative review just because he could not use two coupons in order for him to celebrate a family party and than after he was told that he could just use one he is expecting compensation because he felt embarrassed after the waiter told him he could only use one, when the waiter returned to his table after asking the manager! It just so happened that the manager is the son's owner and he was also given a negative comment by Mr Alvaro D. By saying that the 20 yr old ( son of owner and manager the same), was lacking experience!! All because he (Alavaro D.) could not be cheep that day!! Go ahead and be cheap but do not trash a place and the people who work there because you do not like what you here. Stay home and cook hot dogs and hamburgers and buy a $5.00 cake! This rating shoud be ZERO. Been waiting for years to come here and bring family. Made reservations on Open table for Mothers day, party of 8. Requested a table with a view. Arrived to wait about 5-10 minutes not bad. Then they sat us in their ballroom. Full of Hialeah people loud and kids running around. Come to find out we could not order form their menu. Flat $45 fee for buffet. I DO NOT LIKE BUFFET. Would I have known this I would have made plan to visit another day. It felt like we were at a horrible forced TRASHY bar mitzvah. The food was not worth the $45. The restaurant should really post this on their open table. You do not know this until you are sat down. 8 x 45 =360 PLUS Gratuity for HORRIBLE service included. Came here for Father's Day dinner Buffett . So not worth the money. Especially $25 for my 8-year old. Nothing served was above average, and that's being nice. They are known for their cheddar soup and key lime pie. Neither of those items appeared on the buffet of course. I've seen people complain about the decor. It's older but fine. I've seen people complain about the service staff not speaking English . You're in Miami..What do you expect??? It was $136.00 for my wife , my son and me including tax and gratuity..for that money we could have eaten at a nice restaurant with much better food. Yes watching the planes take off and land is cool, but I can drive along Perimeter Rd to do that. I say skip it. read more

Sunday brunch was more than I expected. There was a huge selection because it had breakfast and lunch foods and so many desserts. For $32, it was worth it since it included unlimited mimosas, crab legs, a carving station, omelets, etc. The mimosas kept coming and service was very good. We all left feeling so full and sick from overeating. The view was interesting with the airport right in front of you. There was live music, which was a bit too loud. read more

Plus on top of all of it the area makes you feel so welcomed and its location near the Miami corporate district is perfect for me. Right next to the Airport, could it get any better. This place that has an amazing parking lot where I used to take my son watch the planes landing and taking off, has now forbidden people from going there unless you are eating in the restaurant. What a shame. I was thrown out by the Miami Dade police department while I was with my 3 year old son watching the planes that he loves so much. What a disgrace to this city. The food is OVER PRICED AND NOT GOOD. We were excited to eat here and honestly when the food came out just looking at it we could tell it would be gross. My boyfriend is not the type to complain about food and he barely touched his food. The stuffed mushroom as well as their soups are my favorite.
