29JUN26 As is our custom, we came to Cooper's Hawk today to enjoy some of the bottles we've accumulated as members. As soon as we arrived, we went straight to the bar. We were lucky to be under the specialized and meticulous care of Idelis, one of the bartenders and a founder of this Doral location. We started with a tasting of the Wines of the Month: * The Gold Rush California Red; highly cherry-fruity with nice depth. * The Vinho Verde; crisp, refreshing, with a very light bubbly sensation. After the tasting, and keeping in mind her preference for reds, we decided to go with 2 bottles of Pinot Noir; elegant, with beautiful red fruit notes, soft tannins, and that classic silky finish that makes it so versatile and easy to enjoy. We started with the house pretzel bun with butter, which is always excellent. From the seasonal menu, we tried the Crispy Barbacoa Arancini, which were very good. For the main course, my girlfriend ordered the Blackened Ahi Tuna and I had the Shanghai Braised Short Rib; tender, perfectly cooked meat with a delicious soy-chili glaze, accompanied by roasted broccolini, shiitake mushrooms, and wasabi silky buttery mashed potatoes. The portions were perfect and the mix of flavors in the sauce and the mashed potatoes is something I can't even describe absolutely phenomenal. For dessert, the Summer Peach Butter Cake (the seasonal option) was already finished, which was very disappointing we couldn't understand why, especially since it was relatively early. We ended up ordering the Key Lime Pie instead, which was very balanced in flavor and sweetness. The crust was excellent and gave the impression of being homemade. Another great visit overall at Cooper's Hawk. The service, the wine, and most of the food never disappoint. read more

I've been enjoying this location for years and can't believe I never left a review before. Well to start my favorite thing about coming to Coopers Hawk is the consistency of the food quality and flavor. I know my favorite dish is always going to taste good. Never a disappointment. I'm a member of their wine club and I really enjoy their wines. I'm not a white wine or sparkling wine lover but their Blanc de Blanc is my personal favorite. It is simply delicious. I like it in both a Mimosa as well as plain. Our second favorite is the Lux Meritage, followed by the Super Tuscan as I truly am a Red wine lover. I recently tasted their alcohol free wine and was shocked to have liked 2 out of 3 flavors. The Strawberry Elderflower was yum and so was the plain. I forgot what that was called...Vivente maybe? Not 100% sure on the name but it was tasty too. So if you have non drinkers or any preggers in your crew CH have you covered. Now to the food my favorite appetizer is the Chicken Potstickers, the Asian salad that the potstickers sit upon is sooooooooo good! The wait staff always comments on how we're usually the only ones who eat the salad. That's sad because to me it's the best part! Asian egg rolls, flatbreads meatball apps are also good. My favorite dishes... Brunch: Breakfast Gnocchi Carbonara, Chilaquiles and the French Toast Dinner: Braised Short Ribs with Root Vegetables and Braised Short Rib Risotto are ties for 1sr place. Dessert: Their chocolate cake and key lime cake are also tied for 1st place Although. Sadly, they do much better in the dessert category with their monthly chef specials! I'm so sad when I taste something absolutely delicious and it goes away! We've also done yearly dinners in their party room for my husband's company and Linear is our Super Star! We had him take care of us single handed in 2024 and he did such a phenomenal job we requested him for our 2025 dinner. Both party's were great and Linear was on top of everything. I love that he now waits in the main dining hall as well because now we can request to sit in his area and be properly cared for. Another Super Star server is Yolanda! She's so good it's hard to get seated in her area because her other guests always request to sit in her area as well. Finally, the manager Sam, he always stops at our table when he sees us in the restaurant. He makes us feel very welcome and he's always on top of everything ensuring that all Patrons are enjoying their meal and dining experience. I am a Wine Club member at Cooper's Hawk and usually pick up my wine of the month during my lunch breaks. This location is a little sketchy for parking - use the lot at City Place. The restaurant has valet and I keep forgetting to ask if it is free. The lunch menu is reasonably priced but the service is not rushed - so you will definitely need more than an hour. The food and wine are always delicious - never a complaint there! This visit I had Dana's Parmesan Crusted chicken with the recommended wine accompaniment. I limit my visits to this location mainly because of the parking. read more

Galentine's night to remember! Service and ambiance is 5 stars however some dishes are hit or miss. The apps are amazing! The ahi tuna, burrata, Brussels sprouts wow! Steer clear of the pasta - the gnocchi with butternut squash was disappointing. How do you just have a watery puree and not add pieces or stuff the gnocchi with it? The short rib risotto was too salty. Also looked too watery. Salads looked good but I didn't try them. Wines - Blanc the Blanc and the Red blend are a must! Caramel Macchiato brownie is to die for and not overly sweet or oily just perfect! Wish is was on the regular menu. Run to get it before the weekend is over! ;) read more

This was my fiancé's and I second trip to the date to Cooper's Hawk! Once again, it didn't disappoint! We loved the Orlando location and I was beyond thrilled when I saw there was another location in Doral, just 20 minutes from our hotel. I made a reservation right after we booked our plane tickets. Warm pretzel bread was brought out within minutes of us sitting down. It's so good and definitely addicting. Don't fill up on the bread as the food is so good! To start we shared the tempura shrimp which is off the happy hour menu. The coating/breading was nice and crispy and the sriracha aioli it was served with paired nicely. The slaw it served with was also great. For my entree I ordered the surf and turf. For my choices I had pretzel crusted pork chop and blacked ahi tuna. SOO GOOD! It originally came with Mary's potatoes but I swapped those out for my girl Betty, as Betty's potatoes are cheesy ! The vegetables it came with were seasoned perfectly. My fiancé ordered the baked Parmesan shrimp. He said it was delicious! I had a bite and I have to agree that it was yummy. I also might have a snuck a bite when he used the restroom. Shh! We paired our meal with a bottle of Riesling, which tasted great and paired well with everything. Service was wonderful throughout. Another absolutely EUPHORIC meal at Cooper's Hawk! Always loved Coopers Hawk and their wine bar and store front a dining areas but this experience overall was underwhelming and disappointing. We love the sweet chili calamari as it's my favorite dish and it never disappoints. My son's first time trying it based on my recommendation and he loved it as well. Service was lacking at this location as it was a late Friday afternoon and it was not as busy but service was slow for what ever reason. It took some time for our appetizer to arrive. Our waitress was hardly anywhere to be found. We had to remind our waitress for the check twice and for water refill twice. She seems little overwhelmed when it was not as busy as it usually can be at the restaurant in general. We ordered the mahi mahi blacken sandwich and as you can see in my photos it was lacking. The lemon is placed for comparison on the small size of the mahi mahi served which is disappointing. Granted it was two pieces but even when putting the 2 small fillets side by side, it barely made up the size of the bun! Busy restaurant so definitely make reservations before stopping by. With that said, we were sat down almost immediately when we arrived and our waiter came over with pretzel bread and water. This restaurant has the dining space divided into multiple areas so it doesn't feel over crowded. It's always a must to sample some wine before getting a bottle or a glass! After that we ordered the chicken giardinera which is a fav! For dessert we tried the new dessert of the month Milk Chocolate & Whipped Mascarpone Bombardino which was really good. I did find the milk chocolate base to be overwhelming and too sweet. I scraped up a little bit of that stuff to go with the Marscapone and the cunchy topping. The top portion was the best for me. They have a great tasting area with a large bar at the entrance. It's very inviting to get some pre- or post dinner tastings. Of course if you snag a spot. lol read more

Wine is one of the best ways to close out Sunday Funday, and this weekend, my lady friend and I did so at the Cooper's Hawk in Doral. I've become a fan of this chain thanks to her introduction and we are members of the wine club. This membership also gives you complementary meals on your birthday as well as surprise specials. We of course, started with the wine tasting! She had her dry wines and myself the sweet ones compared to the last one we went in August. This was actually a much better selection. The dry ones were dry enough that I was making faces :) Jefferson, the bartender, was helpful and education on the different types of wines. Once we went to the dining room, we had the pleasure of being served by William, who was also very pleasant. We started by sharing their chicken potstickers ( I love the teriyaki sauce) while she enjoyed the usual Chicken Caesar Salad. Myself, of course ordered the spaghetti and meatball dish with extra pasta sauce. The dish was well prepared, the meatball juicy and the pasta sauce, robust. We also had an extended birthday dessert to celebrate with. The space is very inviting and the lighting just right for a fun dinner. Former wine club member here, I used to love this place. The food and service were always spectacular. However, this past time we went to celebrate my sister's birthday and the food tasted bland and microwaved. Our waitress was also off - she kept pushing the wine club membership on us. She also asked us to pass down the cups, apps, etc. Also, when the food came, the servers began serving it to another table. First time to this CH location and we were blown away by the friendly atmosphere. As soon as we walked in through the door we were greeted. It was a Tuesday night and it was hoping. I went there because my wife go here with her girlfriends on girls night sometimes. When I walked in, I spoke to the hostess let her know I was there. I did ask her to ask the server to remind him that it's my wife's birthday and ask him if he can sing happy birthday or if they could do anything her response to me was it's up to them. It's their decision which I thought was kind of rude at first, but whatever. After we sat down, it took us an hour to get our food once we seated everyone seemed to enjoy our food but me I had a chicken piccata chicken was dry zero flavor so my overall rating of this establishment is a two sorry just didn't have a good experience and after spending $500 for a birthday dinner, I thought I would expect a little bit more that's all. read more

I've been to another Cooper's hawk and really enjoyed the wine and food. This coopers hawk was also very good. We enjoyed the wines and the food. The filet mignon was good and so was the bacon. I like that you can customize your wine flight. I've had the chocolate and wine pairing at the other location and it was very good. So I took a box of chocolate home. The chocolate alone without the pairing of wine wasn't as good. Also when you buy the pairing you get wine and chocolate vs when you buy the chocolate alone it cost about $30 for 6 chocolates, the chocolate and wine seem like a better deal to me. In the heart of Downtown Doral, cane here with family to enjoy a last minute dinner. I reserved table online. Was seated immediately upon arrival. Our server was the most kind and attentive ever. One if the restaurants that I have been going to frequently for the last 5 years is Cooper's Hawk in Doral. You don't go to Cooper's Hawk for the food, you go for the experience. First off, you walk in and the bar in front has wine tasting, with 2 or 3 different wine selections, which you can modify based on your preference. You get to taste 8 different wines for a nominal price. I really don't know how much it is because I am a member and wine tasting is free for me, but I know it is not much. This, by itself, is an experience. I always go an hour earlier than the reservation with friends, and we always thoroughly enjoy this part of the evening, and depending on the bartender, you may get more generous pours than expected. What i never understand is that why other restaurants don't do the same. People come in, have some wine, and then naturally they would want to dine. What a concept. Brilliant Then you walk through the dining area to your table, and for the first time, you appreciate the ambiance. It can be cozy enough for a date, or better yet, an evening with good friends, good food, and good wine. If you order red wine, they bring this extravagant decanter. I have always believed it is 90% for the show and 10% for functionality, but nonetheless, it looks impressive. And then the bread. We always finish several loafs of bread. I can just have bread and wine and i will be happy. Wait, that sounded a bit religious The menu is amazing. I think i have tried every food in the menu and everything is good. My personal favorite is pistachio-crusted grouper. Just writing that made me hungry. Red wine braised short ribs are great too. The service is always good, and i always try to go back there, at least twice a months. That's how many free wine tasting is get If you haven't been there before, put it on you list. I'm an avid wine club member and I've been fortunate enough to have visited many CH's around S.Fla. They all have different vibes and I find that to be all part of the fun! The wine tastings are great and I absolutely love CH wine! Never makes me feel crappy and the taste is delish! Stopped by the Doral location after a brunch event in the area. Service was nice (but I do miss my wine bartenders back in Pembroke). The vibe in Doral seemed more chill and relaxed with less traffic. Food was good! You can't go wrong with CH's! We were there for a late lunch and it was great! The ambiance is always nice. We were seated promptly and our server, Yolanda was outstanding! She went out of her way to make us feel great! We tasted some great wines and chose our bottle of wine. We shared the shrimp and the Brussels sprouts, both were tasty. For the entree we had the short rib risotto- it was really good. We always have a good time coming here. We usually do the wine tasting and dinner but this time we only went to dinner. The food, as always, is delicious! We had two bottles of wine and a complimentary glass of their wine on reserve. My partner and I shared the Dana crusted chicken and the Brussel sprouts. Came here with a wine tasting with a friend whose a monthly member. The customer service was amazing the wines were okay. Thinking maybe I should've chose the sweet menu but I wanted to expand my palette. Surprisingly the other wines weren't that bad. I would come back. Even the employees from valet parking out front were very friendly and helpful. Took family here for the first time and they absolutely loved it, for appetizer ordered the crispy Brussel sprouts. This is supposedly a grouper my husband is a fisherman this is not a grouper it is actually not a grouper it's a tilapia. Nevertheless look at the size of this fish. The manager came to apologize for the tilapia but then said grouper. This is such disappointment coming from this establishment. Also, the waitress was nice enough to take our order because the one that was supposed to was arguing with the people in front of us. It's such a shame. I came here for my friend's birthday dinner after she mentioned it was one of her favorite restaurants, and she's even a wine club member at Cooper's Hawk. We made a reservation, so we were seated fairly quickly, but unfortunately, the experience with our server left much to be desired. The server was not friendly at all and seemed annoyed when we asked questions about the menu. He didn't bother to explain anything, which frustrated both my friend and the rest of our table. Things became even more uncomfortable when my friend's mother, who is allergic to pepper, mentioned her allergy. Instead of handling it smoothly, the server repeatedly called the manager to our table, which was confusing and unnecessary. Later, my friend ordered a glass of wine, and once again, the server brought the manager over to check her ID, making us feel like we were doing something wrong. Everyone at the table was 23 or older, and the situation felt overly dramatic. While the manager was kind and professional, checking in to make sure we were enjoying our food, the server made the entire experience feel awkward, as if he didn't want to be there. That being said, the food was fantastic. I had the house-made meatball pasta, which was delicious, and everyone else at the table loved their meals as well. The environment was also very calm and relaxing. While the food was great, I would recommend visiting a different location, like Coral Gables, where the staff is much friendlier, and the customer service is top-notch. read more
