Food was absolutely delicious!! The lobster bisque was devine and the pretzel bread was fabulous. They had a scratch kitchen so everything was super fresh and made immediately. Our server grant was excellent. Very kind. The inside of the restaurant was very fancy. They had some expensive dishes but overall nothing too crazy. I would definetly come back here again!!

Galentine's night to remember! Service and ambiance is 5 stars however some dishes are hit or miss. The apps are amazing! The ahi tuna, burrata, Brussels sprouts wow! Steer clear of the pasta - the gnocchi with butternut squash was disappointing. How do you just have a watery puree and not add pieces or stuff the gnocchi with it? The short rib risotto was too salty. Also looked too watery. Salads looked good but I didn't try them. Wines - Blanc the Blanc and the Red blend are a must! Caramel Macchiato brownie is to die for and not overly sweet or oily just perfect! Wish is was on the regular menu. Run to get it before the weekend is over! ;)

This was my fiancé's and I second trip to the date to Cooper's Hawk! Once again, it didn't disappoint! We loved the Orlando location and I was beyond thrilled when I saw there was another location in Doral, just 20 minutes from our hotel. I made a reservation right after we booked our plane tickets. Warm pretzel bread was brought out within minutes of us sitting down. It's so good and definitely addicting. Don't fill up on the bread as the food is so good! To start we shared the tempura shrimp which is off the happy hour menu. The coating/breading was nice and crispy and the sriracha aioli it was served with paired nicely. The slaw it served with was also great. For my entree I ordered the surf and turf. For my choices I had pretzel crusted pork chop and blacked ahi tuna. SOO GOOD! It originally came with Mary's potatoes but I swapped those out for my girl Betty, as Betty's potatoes are cheesy ! The vegetables it came with were seasoned perfectly. My fiancé ordered the baked Parmesan shrimp. He said it was delicious! I had a bite and I have to agree that it was yummy. I also might have a snuck a bite when he used the restroom. Shh! We paired our meal with a bottle of Riesling, which tasted great and paired well with everything. Service was wonderful throughout. Another absolutely EUPHORIC meal at Cooper's Hawk! This place is worth the trip from NY and I cannot wait to come back!

Always loved Coopers Hawk and their wine bar and store front a dining areas but this experience overall was underwhelming and disappointing. We love the sweet chili calamari as it's my favorite dish and it never disappoints. My son's first time trying it based on my recommendation and he loved it as well. Service was lacking at this location as it was a late Friday afternoon and it was not as busy but service was slow for what ever reason. It took some time for our appetizer to arrive. Our waitress was hardly anywhere to be found. We had to remind our waitress for the check twice and for water refill twice. She seems little overwhelmed when it was not as busy as it usually can be at the restaurant in general. We ordered the mahi mahi blacken sandwich and as you can see in my photos it was lacking. The lemon is placed for comparison on the small size of the mahi mahi served which is disappointing. Granted it was two pieces but even when putting the 2 small fillets side by side, it barely made up the size of the bun! Always loved Coopers Hawk but this location was lacking and disappointing for me this time!

Always great food and service. The decor is very elegant. They have a great wine club membership. However, although the staff is friendly and attentive, it is extremely slow and even a lunch or dinner will take over two hours. Parking is a hassle. However, they offer valet parking.

Busy restaurant so definitely make reservations before stopping by. With that said, we were sat down almost immediately when we arrived and our waiter came over with pretzel bread and water. This restaurant has the dining space divided into multiple areas so it doesn't feel over crowded. It's always a must to sample some wine before getting a bottle or a glass! After that we ordered the chicken giardinera which is a fav! For dessert we tried the new dessert of the month Milk Chocolate & Whipped Mascarpone Bombardino which was really good. I did find the milk chocolate base to be overwhelming and too sweet. I scraped up a little bit of that stuff to go with the Marscapone and the cunchy topping. The top portion was the best for me. They have a great tasting area with a large bar at the entrance. It's very inviting to get some pre- or post dinner tastings. Of course if you snag a spot. lol

    Sunday wine tasting

Wine is one of the best ways to close out Sunday Funday, and this weekend, my lady friend and I did so at the Cooper's Hawk in Doral. I've become a fan of this chain thanks to her introduction and we are members of the wine club. This membership also gives you complementary meals on your birthday as well as surprise specials. We of course, started with the wine tasting! She had her dry wines and myself the sweet ones compared to the last one we went in August. This was actually a much better selection. The dry ones were dry enough that I was making faces :) Jefferson, the bartender, was helpful and education on the different types of wines. Once we went to the dining room, we had the pleasure of being served by William, who was also very pleasant. We started by sharing their chicken potstickers ( I love the teriyaki sauce) while she enjoyed the usual Chicken Caesar Salad. Myself, of course ordered the spaghetti and meatball dish with extra pasta sauce. The dish was well prepared, the meatball juicy and the pasta sauce, robust. We also had an extended birthday dessert to celebrate with. The space is very inviting and the lighting just right for a fun dinner. They also have sell wine related clothing and decorations.

Great location for a date day/evening, brunch with the girls or gathering with the family. We joined the Wine Club member that includes 1 free wine partying, 1 bottle to be enjoyed at restaurant or to go and discounts. Each month they offer new wine selection for tasting. They offer tasking in 3 options. Sweet, variety and lux, We great selection of food. We were pretty hungry. So we ordered potstickers as appetizer. We received complimentary bread. Which it was delish! I always order the chicken Caesar salad. The dressing is so yummy and rich flavor. My gentleman friend ordered spaghetti with meatballs. He requested an additional side of tomato sauce. Which was very good! Our meal did not disappoint! As a club member you are given a free desert on your birthday . So although it was a month ago . We enjoyed a nice little desert with a candle! Our waiter William was excellent , friendly and attentive. Jefferson at the wine tasting was friendly too! My gentleman friend purchased for me my new favorite sweater "wine girl" it's so cute and comfy!!! I'll be using it as much as possible this Winter!!! The restaurant has items to purchase that even non wine lovers wanna snag something! Dan So like mentioned great spot for any gathering ... day or night... great ambiance, food selection and taste and service. I do recommend to make reservations. Especially on high peak days and evenings. The Doral location offer valet at a discounted price when you din in the restaurant.

Last night we came here for my wife's bday. We shared Dana's chicken, which to date has never failed us. Flavors are amazing, and the plate is big enough to share. The server was kind and funny. The place was extremely busy this Saturday night, but understandable as this place rocks!

First time to this CH location and we were blown away by the friendly atmosphere. As soon as we walked in through the door we were greeted. It was a Tuesday night and it was hoping. A large majority of the people there were for the CH 20th Anniversary cruise. The Doral team was staffed and ready. Our server Amanda was especially awesome! She was so attentive and knowledgeable. We split the prime beef sandwich as we weren't very hungry and it was perfect! Well done CH Doral!

Anyone have experience with the wine tasting post-COVID? I'm looking to go tomorrow. I see it's limited to 45 minutes per group. Anything else to know?

We went last weekend. It's much better now that they require appointments. Less people at the bar and they can really take time and talk to you about the wines, if you're interested. I hope they keep it this way.

    How is parking?

It is quite a shame that such a nice restaurant has horrible parking. We got there and it was pouring rain. The valet told us to park up front in the only space available. He forgot to mention that it was VIP parking for $25. No where are the… Read more

I ordered a charcuterie tray for the three of us; it's not premade. You pick the ingredients and then they are charged à la carte. For the one we enjoyed with Brie, prosciutto and jam. It came up to about $40. We enjoyed a bottle of chardonnay - nicely cool and crisp - while chatting and enjoying the game. I think they just have bottles, not wine by the glass. I'd certainly recommend Magie for a casual date night, or nightcap after dinner elsewhere. The patio with string lights and all does seem cute for a quiet evening.

Instead, we were sat at the smallest bar seating, which was completely inappropriate and not romantic at all for an occasion like Valentine's Day. As soon as we sat down, I politely asked if we could be moved. The manager then told me that I had booked bar seating, which is simply not true. Why would anyone reserve bar seating a month in advance for Valentine's Day? I checked my reservation confirmation myself and it never stated that, and I even tried making another reservation to verify ..bar seating wasn't even an option. He told us he would "see what he could do," and we were left waiting at the bar with no water, no menus, no service, and no communication whatsoever. Meanwhile, we watched multiple couples get seated at proper tables back-to-back. At one point, we even overheard another couple say their reservation was at the same time as ours, and they were seated at a table immediately. When I tried to politely ask for an update, the manager or owner completely ignored me. No acknowledgment, no apology, nothing. I was honestly in shock at how disrespectful and dismissive they were. We ended up getting up and leaving because of how uncomfortable and disrespected we felt. Valentine's Day is supposed to be special, and this restaurant completely ruined that experience.

From the second you pull up the driveway, you are greeted by rolling rows of vines and an atmosphere that instantly makes you drop your shoulders and relax. It completely lives up to its name--the vibe is effortlessly mellow, sophisticated, and incredibly welcoming. Here is why this place has officially become my absolute favorite spot: 1. The Wine & Food Pairings are Masterful The culinary team here clearly works hand-in-hand with the winemakers, because the pairings are flawless. We started with a crisp, beautifully balanced white blend paired with an artisanal charcuterie board featuring locally sourced cheeses and a phenomenal house-made fig jam. For the main course, the slow-braised short rib literally melted off the bone, and when paired with their estate estate Syrah, it was pure magic. Every bite was an absolute home run. 2. Breathtaking Atmosphere & Ambiance The design of the restaurant strikes the perfect balance between rustic vineyard charm and modern elegance. We sat out on the covered patio, which offers sweeping, unobstructed views of the vineyard. As the sun began to set, they lit the fire pits and turned on string lights, creating an incredibly romantic, warm glow across the entire space. It's the kind of environment where you just want to linger for hours over dessert and another bottle. 3. World-Class Hospitality What truly elevates Mellow Grapes is the service. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable without an ounce of pretentiousness. They walked us through the tasting notes of each wine, shared the history of the vineyard, and gave us brilliant recommendations based on our personal palates. The pace of the meal was perfect--we never felt rushed, yet we were perfectly looked after the entire evening. The Verdict Mellow Grapes is an absolute gem. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, planning a perfect date night, or just want to treat yourself to an exquisite meal and fantastic wine, this place delivers on every front. The passion behind the food, the wine, and the hospitality is evident in every single detail. I'm already counting down the days until my next visit.
