What a wonderful time, view, staff, food, drinks! This was my first time here and everything was just great, From the minute we were greeted at the entrance downstairs, then by Nino upstairs who walked us over to our seats, until we left at the end of the night, I have nothing but compliments to give this place. We spent our night seated at the bar and mainly ordered food from their happy hour menu, along with a variety of drinks. Chris and Skylar behind the bar were so attentive to us the whole time, making sure we always had a drink or needed another while also taking our food order and entertaining us with some conversation. We ended up ordering 3 rounds of oysters because they were that good, super fresh, a good size and they were clean, accompanied by a hot sauce dip that was just perfect to add a little kick to the oysters. We also enjoyed the pita with hummus and tazikie platter , very tasteful, with some other dishes like the fries and sushi which was also fresh and yummy. For drinks had some wine and prosecco followed by an espresso martini that was perfectly poured garnished with 3 coffee beans on top, I highly recommend the espresso martini as not every place gets it right. All this while we sat overlooking the greenery that surrounded the building and the full moon that was out that evening. To finish the night, they served us a piece of their Fiola cake, with a festive sparkler on top as it was my birthday. The cake was delicious, so light and it tasted like a Ferrero Roche. They also gave me a card wishing me happy birthday which was a cute touch. Will definitely be going back for both their happy hour again and to try their dinner menu at a table. Thanks everyone at La Terraza da Fiola for the memorable evening!

Best service I've had in ages. It was a beautiful miami night and the rooftop location was a delight. Wish the walls weren't so high - you can't see the view sitting down. The food was we'll done and the chocolate cake is a must. Pricey but worth it!

Beautiful atmosphere with fire pits and lounge areas

From the moment we sat down, the guy looked annoyed that we were there. Zero greeting, zero eye contact. We waited almost 10 minutes just to get acknowledged while he was chatting with another customers at the other end of the bar. When he finally took our order, he barely listened. I asked for a classic Old Fashioned and he brought me something that tasted like watered-down whiskey with too much bitters and a random orange slice thrown in. My friend's whiskey sour was unbalanced -- definitely not worth the $18 price tag. I politely mentioned to recommend us another drinks options he just shrugged and said "we don't have that" Not offer another choice or an apology. The drinks were mediocre at best, but his attitude made it worse. He ignored us most of the night and acted annoyed every time we ordered. Zero professionalism. The place has a great vibe but with service like this, is not worth to spend almost $200 dollars there for few drinks. I don't remember his name but he was tall, Latin and maybe from Colombia. We just wanted to report his behavior to management but in a Saturday's night you just don't want to ruined more. Next.

So, let's get into it: I don't know about you, but the one thing I do not enjoy doing is driving and circling around, being lost, just to find an establishment. So, I love that this restaurant is so easy to find with good signage, lots of nearby parking, both street and lots. Anywho, once I parked, the manager Judd was so friendly and kind and directed me to the table where my friend was seated. He overheard that I was kind of speaking loud over the music when I barely had a voice due to losing it from another event, so he kindly turned down the music for us. Once there, service was quick and attentive. I got a Fresh Paloma for my drink and the Seared Salmon for dinner. The drink was a good size and tasted good, no complaints there. As for the dinner, WOW. This was delicious, I would get this again. The flavors were there and the portions were just perfect (not too much and not too little, I usually never get enough or leave with leftovers). Also, not overpriced for Miami in my opinion. Aside from that, I did try some of my friend's off-menu pasta and it was really yummy. Furthermore, they have great weekly specials: (Note, subject to change. It is possible that the vibe of Sunset Tavern will not change much, but as we all know, it may never be the same. Sunset Tavern is one of those few places where it is just as good to go in the morning for a Bloody Mary and enjoying the scenery of South Miami, as it is to go at night, drink a beer and watch a live band perform. The ambiance is casual, the service is up to the challenge, and the price is reasonable. As the matter of, I went to Sunset Tavern last night. The name of the band playing was Electric Mayhem and they were absolutely outstanding. The energy and the chemistry between the band members, the song selection, and the talent of the musicians was off the chat. I have never been so mesmerized by a local band before, and I plan to go back and see them again. They perform in Sunset Tavern the first Saturday of every month. But as I was watching the band, I took a look around. So many memories within those walls. I will miss this location.

I wasn't in the mood for a big crowd and noise. This place has a lot of big screen tv's and had a great football game on the screens, which kept me and my husband entertained. The waitress was really nice and friendly. She gave great service. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and my guy ordered the scallops. Neither of us were very wowed with the food. He said some of the scallops didn't taste as fresh as he'd have liked and they came alone without any side and sautéed mushrooms- which he doesn't eat- and my grilled chicken was a little tough/chewy. It was also a small cutlet. On the bright side, we both agreed that the sweet potato fries were delicious! Prices were reasonable for the dishes we got, but some other menu items seemed on the higher side. I hope they taste better and are better than what we got for the price they are asking, as our food was mid. Overall, I would drop in again if the occasion called for it, but this wouldn't be a place I'd made an effort to return to. I'm giving 4 stars cause the ambiance and vibe was cool, liked the waitress and staff, and it was a bit of an upgrade on typical bar food.

At one point, I saw him place, one foot at a time, on a chair to tie his dirty sneakers and not caring to wipe the chair down when done. He did, however, break a smile towards the end of our meal, just around the time our bill came. Ambiance - Yes, it has a pub feel but there's nothing stellar about it. I know it's a neighborhood staple, but the pizza place next door had all its customers. The place was half empty when we were there. Food - My husband told us about the Tuesday deal: $8 hamburger with fries so we went to try it out. * Hamburger - lacked seasoning and flavor. Bread was hard and everything is, thereafter, à la carte for $.75 or $1 so it's actually $8 plus. * Fries - salty * Caesar salad - salty * House wine - $8 for what seemed like a 6oz pour. Overall, this place was a pricey disappointment; but then again, I'm not at an age that dines solely on crafted beers, thus, will notice the poor service and food.
