    Blackened yellowtail sandwich
    Jessica G.

With Miami finally experiencing cool weather, we sat outside and enjoyed a nice lunch with a beautiful view of the golf course. The blackened yellowtail sandwich was the best thing at the table! My youngest son ordered it, and it was such a big portion everyone was able to take a bite! It was great. There was a pickled mustard seed sauce that came with it. That was a little overpowering so we didn't use it. My son used ranch instead. I ordered the fish tacos and they did not disappoint either. They had a nice portion of fish. (which I can't say for the Biltmore shrimp tacos served poolside with barely 2 shrimp per taco!) My husband had the tuna salad wrap, and he was not impressed at all. He didn't even finish it. My oldest son had the Caesar salad wrap and though it was a little better than the tuna salad wrap it wasn't that great either. The waffle fries were a little chewy. Either way, we are locals and love dining at the Biltmore so we will be back to try some new things.

The food was fantastic as always, and the sangria was delicious and tasted genuinely authentic. A special shoutout to our waiter, Eduardo, who was wonderful. He and my dad instantly bonded over being Costa Rican, and it made the experience feel even more welcoming and personal. The only disappointment was dessert. The pavlova sounded much more exciting than it actually was. It was overwhelmingly sweet, and everything on the plate (the vanilla ice cream, vanilla pavlova, and vanilla whipped cream) had nearly the same flavor, color, and texture. It ended up feeling very one-note and lacked the contrast and freshness that makes a great pavlova memorable. Overall, I'll keep coming back again and again. The food is excellent, the service is warm, and it's just as perfect for watching a match as it is for a great meal. Skip the pavlova, but absolutely don't skip this place.

The service was exceptional and all the servers were attentive, constantly providing water which is a plus! We ordered the chorizo and blood sausage morcilla for an appetizer. I was skeptical about the blood sausage but WOW, it was delicious. The house bread, not pictured, was so good. It was served with a blue cheese spread. We all ordered steaks with a perfectly seasoned salad, side of mash potatoes or fries. Love that our steaks were cooked to perfection. Flan was a perfect finish to a great dinner experience

The hostess was very sweet & offered us counter seating, but it was literally right next to the entrance where everyone was standing trying to get out of the hot sun. Definitely not the birthday brekkie vibe I was after. And the parking situation? Diabolical. If I ever go back, I'm taking a Lyft. Once we got back to the car, I started thinking of somewhere close, delicious & that we could hopefully get into before 10:30, when most Miamians start making their way into the streets & every breakfast spot gets overrun. THREEFOLD CAFE! Hadn't been in a while & it was my dad's first time. We drove the 5min distance, parked in the ample, inexpensive garage & walked over. It was busy, but luckily we were seated right away by the lovely Ali (hey fellow Leo queen!), who got us started with drinks. Then my fave waitress Monica came over with her usual charisma & warmth. We had such a great time sipping their very good red wine sangrias & eating a delicious breakfast, including the absolutely to-die-for Don't Be a Lemon Tart French Toast. All in all, the loveliest, most perfect place & way to spend my birthday morning with my dad. Absolutely need to come by more often. Fantastic, consistent spot!

I love that they're served with aioli, which is so much better than ketchup. The corvina used for the fish and chips tastes very fresh, and is nicely garnished with dill. The fried chicken burger is incredibly good, with a huge juicy chunk of chicken thigh coated with a thick layer of batter, fried until very crunchy and a beautiful dark golden colour, and topped with a large slice of tomato that soaks through the bread. The interior is lovely and the staff are so nice. You can even go sit there and work.

They also have a martini deal, from Wednesday to Sunday 6-7pm. We had a sizable group, the restaurant has been super accommodating with the arrangement as well, and our server was very attentive. We shared the cast iron pancake as a group and had individual orders as well. I definitely ordered with my eyes with the lechon hash and duck croquetas before even diving into the pancake. I especially loved the croquetas, not a huge fan for the hash but that's a personal thing not liking potatoes that much. I was able to take in a bite of the pancake, which was very fluffy, the syrup was surprisingly not too sweet. I've tried their shaken espresso and a cortadito, both have been great. Strong, not too sweet, perfect for a humid summer day. I think that's the biggest surprise for me, I thought Cuban sweets would be much sweeter. My group has also raved about the breakfast sandwich and harino con huevo (especially if you're vegetarian).

It was cute inside, it had a very welcoming vibe. I started off with the Mongolian Beef Pastelito. Loved it. It reminded me of a Chinese food Cuban fusion. I would get this again, but I'm really kicking myself for not trying the Guayaba y Queso Pastelito. The Malanga Latkes were AWESOME. It came with a guava apple sauce and a saizon sour cream. These are must get when you visit. Thank me later. The Bao con Croqueta was great. The kimchi slaw paired great with the ham and shrimp croqueta. I also loved that it was in a bao. I'd get this again, but I really want to try the Duck. And you know I had to get the Cast Iron Pancake. It's legit, it's not just a viral menu item. It was soft on the inside and soaked up the syrup, the outside had a nice crust on it. The flaked sea salt was a nice touch. I'm STILL thinking about this pancake and I'm upset that I don't live in Miami because I would have gone back the next day for this. LOVED IT and you will too. I tried my friends breakfast sandwich. I don't remember which one it was, but it was terrific. I had the Short Rib Boliche, which was braised short rib, white rice and an egg. It was great, but honestly, with everything else on the menu I was just whelmed. Next time, and there will be a next time, I'm going for all new dishes because despite leaving there satisfied and full, I have food regret. They have a large menu and I don't think you can go wrong with what you order.

I really wanted to just LoVe it for another rare sister time Miami brunch. The pros and the cons are as follows: Pros-- 1. It's GoRgEoUs! RSVP online is easy. 2. We were seated immediately in a beautiful landscape. It's a comfortable and relaxed spot on Coconut Grove atmosphere. Complete with pretty, but some fake flora. 3. Staff is cordial, helpful and friendly. 4. Presentation-lovely! Tableside salad prep is especially luxurious. 5. Bathrooms easily accessible and pretty clean. Cons-- 1. Arrival, parking is always tough AND expensive in the Grove area, be aware. 2. Pricing is SO high. Although this area IS known for that, you can find better. 3. Our lunch shrimp salad was SO uninteresting and uninspired. Boring, tasteless and the shrimp needed a magnifying glass to find. What!? Come on! I was so frustrated and I'm NOT a big eater at all. People are paying soooo much for THIS?! Please don't be so skimpy! It's almost insulting. Window dressing gets you only so far, people. I see why the ratings are so MID. It feels like a lowkey joke on hoity toity folks. Like how much can you fool them into paying for absolutely nothing by dressing it up in a posh locale?? It's just NOT worth it, DO BETTER! Sorry, not sorry for the sad(-elle's) truth. On that note, thanks for following me. Happy yelping late summer 2026! ~Tami in Miami
