Wow! I have to hand it to Amri. I was eating some tacos near by and walked over here to get a bouquet of flowers. Picture this, l shop was already closed for the day but I saw someone in the back cleaning up and closing up shop. It turned out to be the owner, Amri who created a custom bouquet with hospitality and a gracious, appreciative attitude. It's important to note that I didn't make a pre order which I learned that a lot of their sales consisted of. Even though Amri was closing shop for the day, she made an exception. Amri asked my budget and my preferences for flower type and color. A little hesitant because I wasn't able to see any pre made bouquets and what flowers were available, I gave her my budget and told her a few preferences on color. Let me tell you, I was blown away by her friendly service and absolutely stunning bouquet. Before seeing any examples or flowers available, I felt it was a big risk just throwing a dollar amount on a bouquet. Let me tell you- the bouquet that Ms. Amri created was stunning. I was blown away from the quality of flowers beautifully arranged and also the value. She could have easily made a lackluster bouquet and charged me a sucker price but instead she did the opposite! She made a stunning bouquet that was absolutely worth the money. I hardly ever see such good service like that anymore. She now has me as a customer for life. Moving forward, I'll pre order but will not hesitate to go big here on my bouquet purchases. read more

The vase was large and wrapped in ribbon, the flowers inside were securely and precisely placed to enhance the colors, height, and varietals. My only critique would be that the foam inlay didn't seem to absorb and retain enough water for the amount of flowers in the vase, so some died rather quickly. Extremely unprofessional, unreliable, and disappointing. Based on her Yelp reviews, I reached out to Amri towards the end of April to inquire about her wedding services. Initially, I used the form on her website. When I didn't receive a response, I called her the week after. Our initial call was fine; Amri mentioned that she just must have not gotten to her emails quite yet--she had "so many!" She said that she would be busy for at least the next couple of weeks, so we agreed to schedule my bridal consultation two weeks later on Wednesday, May 14th. Timeline is as follows: May 14th: I called Amri at the agreed time (6PM). This is when she told me that "unfortunately," she overestimated how busy she would be that day and was currently on the road on the way to a family function. She suggested that we call either later that night or the next morning (May 15th). I told her no worries, and for her to let me know when would work best for her. I did not receive a response after that. May 15th: I had texted Amri late the night before after she failed to contact me regarding when she would like to reschedule our consultation. In the morning, she texted me that she hadn't been able to get to her messages since she had been so busy at her family event, and that her phone had died. She then suggested that we chat at 7PM, to which I agreed. We had our consultation that evening, after which she promised me that she would have a quote for me by, "At the latest, the end of day tomorrow (May 16th)." May 16th: No quote received. I texted Amri late at the end of the day asking to follow up. She then called me, said that she was "so busy" with events coming up that weekend (she had to make prom flowers and tend to another wedding) that she hadn't been able to get to creating my estimate. Amri mentioned that she didn't want to "rush" my quote, so she asked me if I would be OK with receiving the estimate "at the very latest(!!), the end of day on Monday (May 19th)." May 19th: Surprise, nothing from Amri. At the end of the day, I texted her asking--once again--to follow up. Here, I gently told her that while I completely understand that life happens and things can be quite busy, that I would really appreciate her efforts to honor the timelines she gives me, especially if we were to move forward in this process. She never responded. I gave Amri the rest of the week to reply to me without prompting, which she did not. I can't say for sure whether it's because she's "so busy," didn't appreciate being called out for her unprofessionalism, or both. It's not even that I minded if things took time. I just wanted her to set expectations she could actually meet. This business does not deserve the extremely high rating it currently has. I'm amazed at how poor the communication is and how Amri conducts herself. It's clear that she can't manage her time well nor prioritize her clients. Customers of a truly reputable business, which I'm afraid this one isn't, shouldn't have to chase down their services like this. I wonder if a solid chunk of her high ratings are from family members or friends. After peeking at other reviews, I can't imagine what kind of nightmare I'd potentially have to deal with should I have managed to move forward with Amri. TLDR; No. read more
