Daniel, our resident manager, is always willing to help, and goes above and beyond to make sure any demands are meant. The front desk is always on top of everything, and so kind. This is the most poorly run building I've ever lived in. There was a fire on my floor. One of the…read moreapartments burned, and the smell of smoke and burned plastic has persisted. Everyone on my floor, smokes and management does not care. There is damage to the hallway constantly I feel like I'm living in a slum and for the price that we pay it's pretty outrageous. Probably the most concerning thing is the air quality after the fire, which is so bad that me and my entire family are having severe asthma and had to get treated for that. What's more concerning is that no one on the floor was told anything about the fire we just saw that the door was ripped off and the apartment was demolished. We got no notification we had to ask and find out what happened. People are constantly smoking in the stairwell and in their apartments. Their dogs running loose in the halls. No one responds to any maintenance requests. The filters in my apartment have not been changed in several years despite logging a request. There's actual soot coming out of the ceiling vents in my apartment. You can't get any response from anyone in management ever. They just literally don't respond to their phone calls or emails. They have this app called Livly where you're supposed to do maintenance request but they just pretty much ignore that. Food delivery they never call up. They just leave the food sitting there. We never even know that it's been delivered unless you go in search of it. When you try to go get your packages, they'll maybe give you one package because they don't want to get all of them because they can't be bothered. You have to come back multiple times if you're expecting packages. The issue is there's a lot of lower income tenants in the building and I think they feel they can treat people badly because of this. Which is unfortunate because everyone should be treated with respect. I'm so tired of the lack of response. People should know about how badly this place is run.

Over priced and lacking parking spaces…read more Over priced apartments. In 2019 a one bedroom was $1550 now a one bedroom is $1900 to $2100 a month for new tenants. They falsely upon moving in say you can have up to two cars in their "spacious" parking lots, after 4pm the two lots are filled up and you have to park in the streets. Street parking isn't allowed from 2am to 6am every night. You're "allowed" to park overnight at the middle school across the street at your own risk. Very misleading and unprofessional. I only had one car and struggled having a spot. I don't know why they don't assign one parking space per apartment unit; it would make living here much better. Also one of their parking lots, the biggest one, is a shared parking lot with a Car Wash next door. The Car Wash's vacuum machines are in the apartment's parking area and is an annoyance. Older tenants who lived at the complex for over 10+ years also brag about their cheaper rent while you struggle to pay twice or thrice the amount for the same apartments. The complex also has hard water and they are constantly adding water softeners to their waters. Plus the entire town's water supply is exposed to PFAS, a "forever chemical". The laundry room floods easily and several machines are broken and hasn't been replaced despite always being malfunctioning. There is no insulation in the attic and during the summers it's really hard to keep your unit cold if you live on the second floor. During the winters months (October to May 15th) the heating system is unbearably hot whenever it's warmer than 40° outside. Even if you turn the heat down all the way, you'll be opening windows daily to cool down your unit. The only plus side about the complex is the superintendent and his crew who promptly fix any repair issue you make encounter, they're really world class at their jobs. Management is terrible and do not care much about you nor their "rules". They have limited parking garages for $100 a month, which are all claimed by previous tenants with a "waiting list" that never becomes available. The parking garages are for cars only, yet several of them are being used for storing tenants' personal property. One garage been turned into a gym for one tenant. With limited parking spaces available for others; management should really enforce the rules and eviction tenants from renting a garage that isn't being used for their car. Some of these tenants even have the nerves to use up a parking lot space while hoarding a garage from others. There are better places to move into than this place.

The amenities are nice but you have to pay for each resident to use the gym facilities (no thanks I'd rather go to Equinox). The doormen are 50/50. Some are very helpful and nice but others give attitude even to your visiting guests. There are plenty of newer properties in the area- while the units themselves are nice, I would much rather live in a place with nicer management and "family"... especially when you call this your home. We're looking forward to our lease ending and some of our friends have already moved out (and are happier).

Beautiful apartments on the Upper West Side on W63rd St. between Riverside Blvd and West End Ave…read more The building is one of many high rises in the area (close to the Rushmore, Trump Towers, Archstone). The building is still under going some construction but is mostly open and ready for rentals. The staff are amazing, such nice guys! They are always willing to help and friendly to chat with. The 40,000 sq/ft amenity space (shared with the condo building the Aldyn) just opened this week and I have to say I was beyond impressed. It is even nicer than the Equinox I belong to in Boston (which was also brand new). The space includes a full gym with pilates/yoga studios, spinning and fitness classes, swimming pool, full basketball court, two lane bowling alley, rock climbing wall - all for only $300/apartment plus and additional $100 for other adults in the apartment for the life of you living there! Pretty great deal! I was a bit annoyed that it took 4 months to get the amenities open, but I'm getting over that now! The location is really nice - steps away from the Riverside Parkway - beautiful! You can take the bike path all the way down to Chelsea Piers and the southern tip of Manhattan! Pier 1 and the Boat Basin aren't far either if you are looking for some fun and food by the Hudson! There is also a park/playground in front of the building which is great if you have kids or dogs. We are also only a couple of blocks away from Lincoln Center and Columbus Circle, Upper West side restaurants (between 72-85 on Columbus/Broadway/Amersterdam) and Hells Kitchen. I would recommend this apartment building in a heartbeat! I am loving my NYC life here.

I particularly love the gardens with picnic tables and items that are colorful for children to play on. The city uses compost for the gardens and the men were hard at work when I visited today. These government housing developments are all over my Upper East Side Yorkville neighborhood and East Harlem neighborhood. (I live on the borderline) I'm giving four stars because I love the improvements in progress. It will really look nice when the scaffolding comes down.

The people who staff the 24-hour attended lobby are always friendly, helpful and quick with retrieving packages from the (well-organized) package room. The HOA board members have open ears for any and all ideas for the building, which really makes a difference in creating a cohesive community, along with having courteous neighbors. The units here are spacious, with high ceilings and beautiful finishes. Oh, and one of the best parts? Every unit has its own balcony! Eastern-facing apartments have sweeping views of the New York City skyline AND the Hudson River. Could you ask for anything better? Well, there's more: A well-equipped fitness center, an extra large playroom for children, and a huge lounge with seating, kitchen and billiards table. Oh, and a giant outdoor terrace, complete with grills, tables and chairs for summer BBQing! Wanna get across the river to NYC? No worries there, either. Cross the street and you have your choice of NJ Transit buses, as well as privately run buses, zipping by nearly every minute to take you to Port Authority in 10 minutes. LAUNDRY ROOM IS EXTREMELY CONGESTED AND HOT FROM DRIERS, AND IS LOCATED IN THE BASEMENT. VERY POOR PRESENTATION IN NANY AREAS OF THIS BUILDING. LOADS OF CORNERS CUT. GENERAL ELEVATORS, ALONG WITH SERVICE ELEVATORS GO OUT OF SERVICE OFTEN. BE PREPARED FOR HIGH LEVEL INCONVENIENCE WHEN LEAST EXPECTED. MAINTENANCE MANAGER (RUSSIAN), is beyond despicable. The super, not a Russian as stated, is helpful, polite, courteous, well-informed, and more. The laundry room is good and has recently been upgraded to air-conditioning. There is a lovely roof deck, too. Who ever wrote that damning review is an angry person with issues I have never experienced in this building. I am a native New Yorker, a native Manhattanite, and a product of 16 years of Catholic school education so I learned decades ago not to lie.
