I've seen customers attempt to haggle with the staff, which usually doesn't seem to work. The quality of items here are on par with garage sale items, which mainly means wholesale junk in retail terms. But watch out, not everything here is a dollar. There used to be a sign outside that said "Everything 99 cents or less" with cheesy stickers that noted some other items were 79, 59, and even 39 cents. Now the sign says "99 cents or more" which may completely defeat the purpose of having such a store in the first place.

They are so obscenely short staffed here I wouldn't be surprised if lots of people have walked out the door with items or just walked out the door and bought nothing because they didn't have 15 or 20 minutes to stand in line. It's also not the cleanest or best maintained Dollar Tree I've seen by any stretch. I think the long line for checking out is a feature here since every time I've gone here during different days and times of the week, the line has been insane. It makes you ask "do I need this item for $1.25 THAT badly?" It seems very random as to when they open a second register to conquer these long lines sometimes taking up more than one store aisle. I can't imagine what it would be like trying to shop here around the holidays. You might see the rapture happen before you get to pay for items. The store manager/owner needs to be taking note here and fixing this since I know this line deters me from shopping here unless I absolutely must get something and know it won't be cheaper elsewhere. The store's merch is mostly $1.25 now due to inflation and just overall expenses being on the rise, but I come here frequently for savings on sliced bread for my toddler, eye makeup remover, liquid soap, and all my seasonal needs like wrapping paper for Christmas and chocolate for Valentine's Day. They also have a cards section in the back, so if you're ever in a pinch, or need to stock up on your cards inventory, these are great - even Hallmark cards! I've bought coloring books and reading board books for my son that he plays with frequently, and they have stood the test of time of toddler wear and tear. I would highly recommend coming EARLY, since this place around noon is usually packed and the lines to checkout are longer than anyone would like.
