My first visit, a few months ago, I was so pleasantly surprised by how much they had packed into that store but yet it didn't feel chaotic. Even visiting just before the holidays you'd expect the place to be a mess.. not this one! All the good stuff is there... pillows, fluffy bath towels in every color, photo frames of every size, dishes, baskets, and some crazy furniture pieces. And of course it's all at the price point we know and love. Bonus points for the fact that this location is (a) easy to get to right off of 46, (b) next to a Marshalls, and (c) offers plenty of parking.

At first glance I gotta say this is probably one of the smallest HomeGoods I've ever been in, I mean they do have a decent amount of merch in here but the store itself seems pretty small in comparison to the other local HomeGoods / HomeSense stores.   Anyhow, you'll be extremely stoked to know that I did find a few cool things that are definitely going on the shelves behind my head for when I'm virtually meeting clients from home. Ya know in order to give me that appropriate "Professional" look. Lol. It's been a minute and I think my fav HG in the area needs an update…read more I've been shopping here for several years now and I have to say the folks who are running this store are doing it well. The shelves are stocked, the floor is clear and clean, the line (especially on a Saturday afternoon) moves quickly. This location has consistently been one of my favs to shop for picture frames - double sided aisle and color coded.. it's like walking through a rainbow some days. The seasonal decor, right by the entrance is always stocked - whether planters in the spring/summer, ghosts and pumpkins in the fall, or baubles and felts garlands in the winter. And if you're ever in need of a white dish for a dinner party they allllways seem to have a aisle full of white dishes. Lately there are plenty of shopping carts hanging about, which is nice. Parking is still a disaster, but that's not necessarily HG's fault... still recommend shopping earlier in the day or parking closer to Stop & Shop.

They have everything you need for your home: furniture, rugs, bedding, bathroom necessities, kitchen necessities, decorations, food, even stuff for your dog (and possibly for cats, too)!!! For the holidays they have soooooooo many beautiful things!!! When you find something that catches your eye, better snatch or cuz you must likely won't see it again next time!

This store has a nice layout. I also strolled around and looked at some artwork. They had tons to choose from. It was busy but they always handle it well. The lines moved quickly, the staff is friendly and they're always wiping down the shopping carts for you. I love checking the clearance aisles to find some goodies. I'll always come to Homegoods for house decor. This is a great location.

Can I share a story with you?  During the Dark Ages (pre-internet, no Yelp or smartphones) learning about something a bit off-the-beaten-path, let alone being able to source it, was an arduous task. I was an English Lit major and one of my professors loved to talk about even more books than the ones already assigned to his class and he always mentioned 'The Three Christs of Ypsilanti' that he read himself when he was in college.  It sounded more interesting than what we were reading in class (sorry, but there's only so many times you can endure 'Oedipus Rex') and I went hunting for 'Three Christs' but never had any luck.  Most workers at other shops gave the quizzical "What'cha talkin 'bout Willis?!" look and I'd leave empty-handed (or with a completely different book... just because).  Then I found myself here.  And while casually strolling through the store and eyeing up all the titles... I found a used copy!  (Can I tell you one other thing?  The book was a bit dry and dated and part of me wished it stayed like the Holy Grail - that it might keep me searching through different bookstores but never actually finding it.) And it's been more than a few years (okay, decades!) since I scored 'Three Christs' and now I'm here once again - this time doing my part to properly celebrate and support "Independent Bookstore Day" - and man oh man... you could lose an entire day here just drifting from rack to rack, aisle to aisle, floor to floor. Whatever you fancy - they have a section for it. Pricing is a-okay. The quality of the 'newer' used books is most excellent.  (The older, more rare and worn copies are out of reach or behind glass cases.) Behind the counter is the coolest and friendliest gal. From music to books to merch to a "gumball machine" that has poems (of course, right?) - the world is a better place with mom and pop (book)stores like this in it. "Since 1984" - and hoping they'll be going strong for another 40-plus years... (PS: if you stumble upon the movie version of 'Three Christs' - skip that as well.  They tried to make it a comedy and it's awful.)
