Since it was a holiday week (July 4), I made an appointment for 9:30 AM and arrived shortly before the salon opened. Neither the tech who did my pedicure nor a different tech who did my manicure bothered to introduce themselves to me. I felt pressured to select my nail color quickly and the entire appointment felt rushed. I was in the foot bath for just a couple of minutes before the tech began my pedicure. She hurried through each step and didn't give much attention to trimming my cuticles or nails, ignoring my ingrown nails entirely. Throughout my pedicure, the tech was constantly stopping to greet walk-in customers and at one point, she became so distracted that she failed to put a base coat on my nails before applying polish. :-( When I go to the nail salon, I want to relax and be pampered. Unfortunately, I didn't feel relaxed or pampered at Aleena Nail Salon so I'll try another salon next time.

Receptionist, scheduler, laundress, nail tech, cleaning crew, the only position that I saw her do when I was, there was nail tech, and a little bit of receptionist. The place was extremely empty. I was The only person in the shop. Yet there are 4 foot stations and four nail stations? There was dirty laundry piled up and it smelled horrible. She did a pedicure and a fill. About a week after the pedicure I contracted a foot fungus and I can only imagine it came from her shop. I never went back. Sorry I don't have photos to show. But I'm happy to dig up a bank receipt because I paid her through Venmo. And I also tipped her 20 bucks cash.
