    New and spacious

This is a fairly new 99 Ranch Market in the South Bay. It's located on 190th Street, close to Walmart. The store is clean for an Asian market. Even the shopping carts are clean. There's a deli section with prepared foods similar to Panda Express. They used to have roast ducks and bbq pork hanging and available for purchase. The last couple times, however, I didn't see any. The server said they didn't have a cook. So I'm not sure if that's just temporary. Produce and meats are fresh. Lots of canned goods and dried products. Large frozen section too. I stopped in yesterday to get more frozen Chinese joong (tamales) but they were more expensive than the 99 Ranch in Gardena on Artesia Blvd. I was surprised at the difference in price on the same day between the 2 locations. Other than that, I enjoy shopping at this 99 Ranch when in the area.

My new favorite 99 Ranch. It's clean, and spacious. I love their hot deli counter. Every 99 Ranch has different flavors and this one looks the best and taste great! The black pepper port chops is delicious. The dim sum is the usual ones, steam bbq buns, shuimai, chick rice wrap, chicken feet. The staff are friendly and quick service.

Love the selections of groceries. Hot bar didn't have dim sum left at 3pm on a Saturday and egg rolls were cold :/

The cleanest and most organised Ranch 99 I've seen. Feels almost upscale. Friendly staff and you can get all your Asian staples. The food court counter was just OK.

Bright new location with a hot deli (but no tables and chairs like Cerritos). It's the old Office Depot space in Harbor Gateway. We bought chow mein and roast duck, both very good. Only con is the small parking lot.

This location is fairly new. I think it opened up around 2 years ago. This is much nicer than the Gardena location because the interior is more modern and clean. My senses are also not overwhelmed by the smell is seafood compared to the other location. I like to come here to seek my Asian produce such as oyster mushrooms, lemongrass, galangal, etc. Glad I can find those here. This 99 Ranch filled a much needed void in this part of the South Bay. I can also find the occasional cute Sanrio food times. That's fun.

I always wondered why they built and opened one so close to another, but I stopped wondering almost immediately because this was really a great idea. The one not-so-far from here can get crowded with so many other places it shares its parking lot with, so I welcome this addition as it only relieves the other place of the workload, per se. It's new, it's different. It is a lot roomier with the addition of food stands and such. (I liked this a lot and will make use of 'em on future visits!) I also noticed they have products the other didn't which really isn't a big deal one way or another for me since I live so close to both. And the one thing I really liked here is the self-checkout option. Pricing is similar, if not the same. Veggies and meat options were aplenty. The entire place was clean with no signs of clutter. Didn't really have any interaction with staff. They're both close to home but I normally go to the other for convenience (it's a tad bit closer.) But I'm glad of this place being here - contingencies are always a plus!

Woohoo! Just a few months new. This 99 is much better than their Gardena location a occupies the real estate where Office Depot used to be. The hubby needed some specific items for a hot pot gathering that his friends are having as his friends will be doing the cooking. This is the place for Asian groceries! We amazed at the low prices on produce. Good selection and prices but I know the veggies would need to be used used or consumed not long after purchase. We got salads, snow peas, and bok choy. I love bbq pork buns and there was quite a selection of different brands. That was an item we purchased. We also checked out the meat section and I made a purchase from the small Filipino food section. We got a bunch of various Asian beverages from calamansi juice, Sanzo sparkling waters, and coconut juice. We even stopped by the friendly sample lady and tried this jello like sample that is supposed to promote instant energy and we did purchase it as we liked the samples and even got a nice reusable cloth bag that came with. There is also a cafeteria type hot food section and hanging ducks. There is a floral section with lovely bouquets and orchids. Our cashier seemed shy but, efficient and kind. 4 stars! We will be back. :)

The good: I'm too psyched! Finally, an Asian grocery store that sells Vietnamese vegetables and fruits! I've had to drive to Long Beach or Gardena before but this will be my go-to Viet herb spot now. They had fresh mangosteen, longan, lychee, rambutan, and much more. For veggies they had Thai basil, Viet perilla, fish mint and many more. These were some of the stuff I was missing when I went to H-mart. They have a bakery and a Chinese deli area with duck and roasted pork. They had some super cute looking cakes. They sold flowers as well. The fruits and veggies area is very organized and clean with a lot of pre-packaged selections. The bad: Some items were more expensive than what I could get elsewhere. Example, the jumbo frozen shrimp and lychee. It's February and they still have Christmas decor in the bakery section. This is smaller than their other locations I've been to. The interesting: In San Jose, most folks refer to this market as Ranch 99 despite it being 99 Ranch.

Super excited a new location is opened on Torrance! The store in Artesia is old & outdated. Love the hot food station near the entrance. There is a bakery next to it. So many varieties to choose from. The store is so clean and well organized. The only thing that I am disappointed about is the produce section is kind of small, less varieties. The Parking: lots of parking spots.

The new 99 is fire! It's much bigger than the Gardena location, brighter and larger aisles and more product selection...and you can get fresh roasted ducks hanging in the hot deli! This one has both a hot deli and a full bakery unlike the other nearby location and everything is brand new from the checkout conveyer belts to the clear fish tanks. This one has a hot deli with roasted Cantonese bbq meats and two item combo meals. What's cool is not only can you get the expected orange chicken, fried eggplant etc in your two item combos, but you can get roasted duck! That's not something typically you can get as a combo item. Also: they are currently doing a 50% discount on the two item combos at 7pm each night. The rice and chow mein noodles still need a lot of work as they were way over peppered (white pepper) the other day I tried them, but the two item meats and duck were great. Still, it's a great deal worth trying. They also have a full bakery here unlike the other smaller location. I noticed items are like a dollar or two less on many things. Prices this past weekend were lower than the other 99! On shelf products, meat butcher, and the produce. Many items were pre-inflation prices!! Like I couldn't believe the Napa cabbage was 33c a lb! Cleanest live seafood tanks ever as they're totally brand new like everything in the store. So clean, we could see the crabs fighting each other. Lots of parking too and spaces aren't so crammed. They have self checkout lanes here too. This 99 is a dream come true for me!

    Electric mix. Lol

I've been here three times, and each visit has fallen well short of the experience provided by other nearby locations. The staff often seemed disengaged and gave off the impression that they wanted us to hurry up and order. Most recently, I ordered a simple mini Pitaya bowl and a smoothie. After waiting more than 15 minutes and watching several customers who ordered after us receive their food first, I had to ask about the status of my order. We discover our order was just sitting there on a side table. No one had announced our order whatsoever. What made the delay even more frustrating was that we had frozen groceries in the car that needed to be taken home. Despite living less than half a mile away, we'll gladly make the longer drive to another Beach Bowls location in the future for better service and a more enjoyable experience.

The first time, I purchased Sprouts brand unsweetened almond milk and Sprouts vanilla almond milk, and both had gone sour before their expiration dates. On a separate visit, I purchased a chocolate almond milk from a different brand, and it was also sour as soon as I opened it. In all cases, I refrigerated the products immediately after getting home, so improper storage on my end was not the issue. The fact that this happened with multiple brands and on different shopping trips makes me believe there may be a refrigeration or temperature-control issue at this location. It's hard to see another explanation when products from different manufacturers are experiencing the same problem. This has resulted in approximately $15-$20 worth of product being wasted, which is frustrating and disappointing. Customers should be able to trust that refrigerated items are being stored properly before purchase. Another ongoing issue is the lack of baggers available at checkout. Cashiers are often expected to scan and bag groceries at the same time, which slows down the checkout process and creates longer lines. Considering the premium prices Sprouts charges, I would expect better staffing and a more efficient checkout experience. I hope management looks into both the refrigeration of refrigerated products and the checkout staffing at this location. These are recurring issues that have negatively affected my shopping experience and make me hesitant to purchase refrigerated items here in the future.

My favorite is the one with the black pieces in it (I think they're mushrooms). I still haven't tried the mushrooms, but the creamy broth mix is everything. Their sparkling sodas are always delicious. My favorite is the Hello Kitty strawberry one. I told all my friends about it, and me and my sister go regularly. My sister loves the banana milk! The thing that's good about going to Tokyo central for premade sushi is that they make all their sushi fresh daily and what's not sold is marked down and got rid of before next day compared to other markets where they sell their sushi that's like 2-4 days old. They went viral for awhile for having a hot food bar, which looked like a buffet but in reality you grab what you want but it's $15.99 a pound. The pound adds up really quick and you end with paying like $30. The food isn't that great in the hot food bar in my option so I'd skip it. The market itself is very pricey it's not a cheap market. So if your planning on buying grocery your gonna pay high prices. I'd go here for a quick sushi roll or some mochi they sell a bag from Japan for $3.99 with red bean that's pretty good. One of my favorite food item is the umami chicken karage with rice that's pre packaged and if you can snag it while it's still hot that great. Its usually on a separate table on in the refrigerated section, It's the one with some teriyaki sauce over it, not the regular one. As you exit you can grab utensils, napkins, wasabi. ginger, soy sauce. Parking is a hit and miss, it's a popular market if you go there at lunch time it's packed or weekends. Personally I drop by to get a quick bite, sushi roll or chicken karage . They do have a food court that has a Japanese bakery, takoyaki , a katsu place. Upstairs they have a sushi bar which is unique I havnt tried it but seems a bit pricey but looks like quality. Looking for something Japanese in food wise, this would be one of the places to go to look for it.
