The only recommendation I have is make sure you arrive at least 5 minutes early to all your classes, especially if they are in the afternoon because the parking lot fills up quickly!

Originally I was signed up for Muay Thai, as I found it to be an interesting art, but after the challenge, I found I enjoyed the kickboxing a lot and signed up for that instead. I was worried about finding time to attend, but they have so many classes on their schedule that I can always find a class that matches my schedule, no matter how much my schedule changes week to week. While I worked the fair, I was able to attend morning classes. When I went back to my normal work schedule they had a class almost every night of the week. The coaches are absolutely phenomenal. Being that there are so many classes, there are also a few coaches, and they all teach their classes differently, while still changing it up from class to class. Not only are you getting a satisfying workout, but you are getting a variety that promises you'll never get bored. As for the people, they are all very friendly. Although I attend classes alone, there is always somebody to practice with. Often we end up pairing up, and if you didn't bring a friend you'll have to make a new friend. I have not had one bad experience with all of the people I have worked with. As great as a place is, if the people aren't friendly, then it basically becomes a chore to attend. I actually find myself looking forward to attending classes and meeting new people. Overall, I would highly recommend taking a look at this gym. The classes are great and flexible; the coaches are knowledgeable and helpful; and the people are extremely friendly. UPDATE 9/11/19- 11 months later and I still find myself getting excited to attend classes everyday. In fact, sometimes I dread holidays or vacations due to the classes I'd have to miss. I've started many hobbies and quit after a month or two because I was bored or just didn't feel like I belonged. Here I feel like everyone is so inclusive and welcoming. I've expanded from kickboxing and Muay Thai into Brazillian Jiu Jitsu and am loving it just as much as the other two. Unfortunately, this does mean I do have to cut back on one of the other two in order to participate, but that's what I get for wanting to try everything. One important thing to note is that The Cellar is not just for the combatants looking to get into the or improve their fighting prowess. Yes, if that is what you're looking for, this place is amazing, but for an average Joe, Jill or whoever, this is a good place to meet new friends and get in a fun workout. P.S. I had no choice but to pay and negotiated down to under $150. then in November 2024 received another call from a different debt collector stating I owed over $600 (I have not been a member in between these dates). I placed a call to the first debt collector to get proof that the account had been paid and closed, and they let me know that this has happened to hundreds of former members. When Anytime Fitness received checks from the first debt collector, they never attributed them to the accounts they came from, so when the second debt collector bought the debts, they bought the ones that should have been closed but haven't. I just submitted proof that this should have been closed and the second debt collector told me it will take between 25-30 days to process. Anytime Fitness is a horrendous company that is essentially stealing money from former members.

There's no unneeded glamor, no over-pumped-up trainers, this is real and this is practical. And it works. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is I would like to find a powerlifting contest trainer, and Powersource is more of a practical place. They train real people, all day every day, and that is good and they are very good at it, and the powerlifting trainer would kind of be overkill for them anyhow. Yes, the owners of this gym are amazing women but they are also business women and have to do what is best for their business, which may mean focusing more on the gym's that need them. I came for a Saturday morning class at Rumble. I arrived 15 minutes early and received a warm…read morewelcome from the staff. My locker had a welcome message and everything I needed for class inside. I was also able to step into the studio before the class started and get an overview of what to expect from the instructor. The studio is large and very well maintained everything was perfectly put away and I loved that I had a dedicated station for boxing and strength. The class is 10 rounds and you switch between the bag and the floor. I didn't like that bag and floor work happen at the same time which means that the instructor is teaching two classes at once so that was not only confusing but it left little time to hear and get into the music. I really need good music to motivate me and I didn't care for the mix of county, pop and really old hip hop. The workout was really good on the floor I loved the intensity and reposition of the rounds. The bag work wasn't that challenging and I felt like the bags sat too low (I'm not tall, only 5'4"). I learned the music is curated by rumble and not chosen by instructors which is a bummer. I'll come back to rumble again when I'm in town. Also metered parking is plentiful and surrounding the studio.
