I LOVE Acai bowls so when I spotted Acai Con Tapioca I knew I had to stop in and try it. Manuel and his son Matteo run and own this Brazilian foodery. Matteo made me a sample of the chicken tapioca for me to try! How genuinely nice of him. It is made of yucca flour not american flour so its extra healthy. The one I had was chicken and catupiry which is a Brazilian cream cheese. Very delicious and light. I ordered the carne del sol ball which was a deep fried round ball and inside was shredded beef (del sol meant in Brazil there werent oven so they would sun dry the beef with salt to cook it) and catupiry (the brazilain cream cheese). I doust it with red hot sauce and completely cleaned my plate it was that delicious. I didnt get a drink because I knew my acai bowl would do the trick. I had the original handmade acai with shredded coconut, strawberries, chai seed, blueberries and kiwi. It was fantastic. The prices are right and not expensive. There were other brazilian customers in while I was eating at the counter (yes they have plenty of counter seating) . I will definitely return for anything they have on the menu. I really enjoyed chatting with Manuel who told me the shop has been open a year and a half. Had it not been for me seeing it when I was visiting my dad in the rehab center I would never have known this place existed,. I am so glad I tried it today! I am a fan and you will be one too. Acai there is great I love i always go back there for that Acai but everything else now worth it for the price !!

My husband, who is Brazilian, and I just ate here. He said it's the best açai he's had in the US. We both found it delicious and very reasonably priced. It's like froyo-style serving where you choose your preferred açai as the base (original, strawberry, banana, etc) and add your own toppings. They have anything you could want to add to the bowl including powdered milk - apparently popular with Brazilians. If you're looking for amazing açai definitely try this place! We wish we lived here so we could go all the time! read more

I decided to jump on the bandwagon and order a delivery from grub hub for the first time. I really was craving an açaí bowl amd I couldn't physically go. When my açaí arrived. It was melted (5minitues away from my house) my toppings were supposed to be- strawberries, pineapple, granola, peanuts, honey, coconut flakes. I opened my açaí up and there were 4 small slices strawberries for a POUND of açaí. Lots of coconut flakes, two pieces of canned pineapple. No granola, no peanuts, NO HONEY. When I open a bowl of açaí from any other place, the toppings is what brings it out. It was not living up to my expectation from a BRAZILIAN place. I also ordered a vegan mushroom tapioca. I am vegan and I love mushrooms and I wanted to try something different. My expectancy was far high and I received a flavorless white tortilla and salted mushrooms. I am not a picky person and I'm super open minded but it was so disgusting. No nothing in it. She explained we cook it with onions, tomatoes, etc. but nothing of that was in this. I didn't want to leave a review I went ahead and called. I spoke to the manager. She was really nice but no resolution. She explained the weigh the açaí and I should've put I want more topping than açaí..... what? There was no effort to make it right by making me a new order or anything. She just said come on in next time and I'll give you a discount. I explained to her a discount? I wasted my money ordering. If anything I could get an açaí bowl on the damn house. Wasn't sure what to expect when I was told they had tapioca as im not that familiar with Brazilian food but I went for the DIY acai bowls. Turns out they are tortillas made with tapioca starch. Also ended up getting a chicken and cheese filled ball...forget what it's called, all was really good. read more

I love açaí bowls but this place failed me. You make your own bowl which I thought was cool but with Covid I think they should pause this for now. The fruit and toppings didn't look fresh at all and the bowl wasn't good at all. I tried to make it work with just the basics but it just wasn't good. Best açaí in the US. Also live their tapioca with dried beef. Really legit. Would recommend to Americans trying to get the real Acai experience. Also try their sfihas. It's like a mini pizza, my favorite is frango com catupiry. Chicken with soft cream cheese. Highly recommended. read more

The açaí was terrible it was $10 for just one bowl and I threw it away except the fruit on top. The workers didn't speak English and were not helpful. It is also in a sketchy area would not recommend. If you're in Hillsboro go to Playa Bowls instead. read more

This place was OK. I was expecting more from the açaí bar honestly. The açaí was ok, there were quite a few options for toppings but I could do the same thing at home for less than what they are charging. I think the concept throws me off and I felt like I was getting frozen yogurt since it is measured and paid for by weight. I've had better bowls prepared at little spots that way much more flavorful and the same or less price point for more acai. read more

The worker was very rude and they act like Açaí is frozen yogurt. They weigh it and charge way more money than the best açaí places around. I only went there cause it was a last result- that was my first and last time. For the price of that açaí I was expecting it to taste close to or better the ones I've tried for cheaper. Good açaí e good tapioca. We loved it. Prices are ok. And the owners are very friendly. I wish it was closer to my house.

The 6 dollar bowl is really small and you can pick only three toppings for it included on that price, so I would say it is not reasonably priced. Apart from that, the açaí tastes great! Nice little place on not so nice plaza. They also have special deals depending on the day of the week. read more

It's my fav place, I'm not here for too long but I had always wanted to eat a real Açaí (like in Brazil). I tried in other places but it's not the same taste, what it's sad bc açaí should always be the same! If your looking for a healthier version of a yogurt bar then try this restaurant. They have an Acai bar in which you can choose from several types of Acai, fruit and candy toppings. I went in for Acai and came out with tapioca and one of their fresh fruit smoothies, all delicious! The staff was friendly. I would recommend Acai Com Tapioca to anyone. read more

SUPER overpriced! Asked for Brazilian "salgadinhos" and some sfihas and they charged $70! They're obviously not looking for business with prices that high. Will def keep going to the Brazilian bakery I always go to! read more
