Omg what a gem in the community. Once discovered I basically substitute a meal a day with one of these delicious açaí concept cups. I've literally been there every single day since I discovered it. They do a beautiful presentation of the açaí itself but it's also delicious to eat. Even my FIL who is extremely picky enjoyed his pitaya açaí. Highly recommend for existing açaí lovers and people who've never had açaí before. I love that they give you nice sized samples to try before you buy. The only food I've tried so far here has been the cheesy bread. I got it when it was freshly made - not for anyone watching their waistline as they have a ton of butter but oh so yummy! They also have a rewards program where you buy 10 açaí cups and get 1 free. I'm almost there... Hope this place stays put. I try to avoid this place cause every time I go there I get more than a large cup of açaí. THIS IS NOT AUTHENTIC BRAZILIAN AÇAÍ. This is packed full of sugarrrrr and you can put all the junk toppings you want which makes this place amazing!!!!! There's a bunch of toppings if you want to go more traditional and put strawberry, honey, banana and granola but the açaí is very liquidy cause it comes out of a soft serve machine. So again , not traditional. But so tasty, and so many more toppings like Oreos and chia seeds, candies and there's other things too like Brazilian savory croquettes. It's just such a fun place. It's actually pretty big inside as well, and there's a couple tables outside. read more

The acai is so delicious. Staff offered a sample of the mango/coconut and I added a layer of mango to my acai. It was absolutely delicious. This place charges you by the cup and allow you to add as many ingredients as you'd like with over 15 ingredients to choose, from fruits to syrups and whey proteins. Cups start from 9oz thru 24oz. I ordered a 16oz for $11.99 and a mozzarella, tomato and hummus flat bread which sells for $6.99. The flat bread seemed to not be fully cooked or it may just be a type of Brazilian bread. It's pretty hard to have bad Acai. The simplest versions (like you'd find on the beaches of Rio) with just the Acai, banana and granola, to the more elaborate with all the fruit toppings and honey. They're ALL good, and even more importantly, it's healthy! Acai Concept is a bright and animated wonderland inside. Caters extremely well to kids because of how fun and colorful they've designed it. Even if you're not a kid, you'll be impressed upon entry and will enjoy looking at the detail put into the decor. To begin, they offer Acai or Pitaya (dragon fruit) bases in 5 different sizes, so it can be as affordable as you want. There are all the classic toppings from granola to berries to coconut flakes. As I mentioned above, Acai is associated with being healthy, just as are the toppings usually offered with it. I was a bit put off by seeing unhealthy choices like oreos, rice krispies, m&m's and condensed milk on the list. I'm not a health nut by any stretch, and I can enjoy those things in different desserts. But, an Acai bowl is along the lines of "clean" eating, if even just for 1 meal, and those toppings taint it. Obviously, you don't have to order them, but I'd hate for this to become a trend. Also, I wish they'd put the finished Acai in bowls instead of cups though as it'd be much easier to eat. This is the BEST Acai I have ever had. I've tried a few well reviewed within the area and have been pleased, however I BLOWN away with Acai Concepts. Their Acai itself tastes significantly sweeter and fresher than other places. The endless topping options made the experience that much more fun. I chose to have my cup coated with dulce de leche and it was the best decision. Will most certainly return!! read more

Not the best Açaí I've ever had. It was okay. The person in the front was very nice, but I still don't think I'll be coming back.

The service was bad and the employees were rude. It took 12 minutes for a small açaí bowl to come out. Taste gets a 5/10.

The one star is for the nice staff. The worst açaí bowl I've ever had. Just the formula for the açaí it's self is terrible. Will never return. The sizes were weird. It came in a very small cup which made it hard to eat. Their "concept" needs some work. read more

The açaí is ok...tasty...but comes out of a frozen ice machine like a slurpee. They put WAY more chia seeds in the bowl than is recommended to consume in a day! (Should be max 2T...they had to have put 2-3 ounces. It was covering every other layer of the parfait!) The cups are cumbersome and so over filled that as soon as you take the lid off, everything starts falling out and dripping. I love my açaí BOWLS but I'll have to go elsewhere. read more

This is the very first place I've ever had Açaí. Since then I've tried a few other local spots but none are as amazing as the açaí they have here. The fruit is always very fresh and well prepared. On top of the the establishment is always very clean relaxing to be in. Every time I've been here the staff has been very knowledgeable and very friendly. This is for the new location at Mission Bay - I ordered a tropical smoothie that took 20 minutes to make and I was the only one there. When I got is it was the consistency of milk and warm. It's wild to me that someone can open up a place with açai in the name then not have açai bowls. And no descriptions on the menu of anything, and the poster of the pitaya smoothie that made me wanna go, they didn't have. I love this açaí so much in my opinion the BEST place for açaí someone could go for, you can choose AS MANY toppings as you want, which to me that alone is a huge plus I love how generous with extra sides they are, every time I go I ask for lots of milk powder because it's my absolute favorite. It's not terrible, but this definitely ranks WORST out of all açaí places I have tried. I have tried both the açaí and pitaya "bowls," they both taste extremely chemically and fake, and the sizes are measured very weird. Yes, they let you customize and put all the toppings you want, but it just doesn't taste good. The place is kind of dirty. It is extremely expensive and not worth the money I paid. 2/5 read more
