They do have an espresso machine with some type of Colombian blend, but I was in a traditional Brazilian bakery so wanted to try Brazilian coffee. The server pointed to the self-serve drip coffee machine, near the front door, which displayed a disclaimer that refills are NOT included with the low purchase of $1.79. The counter kiosk provided hot and cold milk dispensers with sugar. The coffee was roasty and alerted my brain instantly to wake up. The cup was brown with a black snap lid, imprinted with a non Casa Do Pao logo coffee theme which is much better than a bland white styro cup. On my next visit here, the beef empanadas will be on my radar. The gender assigned bathroom had a nice 3-tier wooden shelving unit with some greenery and extra toilet paper. I've never had anything here I didn't like and I've never had Brazilian food. I love how authentic all the food is, per my friend. But everything does taste like someone's auntie made it. Given the insanity behind the counter of this bakery, I would've walked out had Sean M. not been my ride. Seriously. And that's saying something, too! But honestly now, how long does it take to figure out that you have a potential client in front of you? Luckily for me, Sean spoke up before I did, because I was getting grouchy. I was pleasantly surprised with the spinach empanada. It could honestly compete with some of the best ones I've had. It was baked, super full, and simply delectable. I wish I had ordered more, but oh well. That's why I went nuts over coxinha. I had never had coxinha before, but the best thing I can compare it to is a croqueta that looks like a ball. Needless to say, they're huge and I got two! One was the standard chicken, the other chicken and cheese. Have to say the chicken and cheese is way better. As for the pão de queijo, they were so hearty it took me a couple of days to finish them. Ditto with the coxinha. Sigh... I quickly learned I ordered way too much food. It was a struggle to even finish half the food and the juice. For everything I ordered, I spent around $11 and had food for a couple of days. This is one of those that should be a solid five, but given the lack of initial service that left a sour taste in my mouth - four, four, four stars. Ever since I've moved to the U.S, I've always been on the lookout for the great Brazilian bakery here in Florida. I thought that Casa do Pão exceeded expectations for the few times I visited, however, Easter Sunday changed my opinion for the worse. About the food: their coxinhas de frango com catupiry have significantly decreased in size (at least in my perception, their chicken pot pie has gotten drier and their pastel de queijo... no comment at all. In Brazil we would have called it "Pastel de vento" (translation to English: I used "vento" as slang because the Pastel is basically filled with air) Service: Some of the people at the front are extremely proactive and are ready to put your order in, and some are just not prepared at all, get the number of items wrong and sometimes do not even get the proper items right. Well, it's either hit or miss. Now about ambiance... do NOT go on their busy hours or national/Brazilian holidays. It gets SO full it can be pretty uncomfortable, and if you need to get something in the counter (they'll call your name), all I can say is good luck. Also -- not enough tables for rush hour! If the owners/managers make the right input and change some things around (even adding a second location would work) this bakery could easily be one of the best in the South Florida area. read more

It is a very popular place in south FL if you are looking for authentic Brazilian taste.They have a good menu with sandwiches, juices, smoothies, savory selection of breads, patties etc, sweet selections of mini desserts, pastries, cakes and so much more. The employees are super nice and fast. The line was long when I went on a Saturday morning. But they were quick with taking orders and calling out the names consistently. Order: I really wanted a espresso drink but their machine was not working the day I visited. I had also wanted one of their fresh juice options as well, and they were able to make that. I ordered: drink to your health juice. That consisted of orange juice, beets and carrots. It was delicious and prefect way to start out the day. In eats, I ordered pastel de forno, in spinach and one combo of cheese and tomato. Both these savory treats were great. Next time, I plan to get some dessert options, they look spectacular. This Brazilian bakery is amazing and I have no complaints! It is small yet quaint, with ample seating inside. I walked in with my husband and was greeted by all the different snacks and pastries they had, then the long counter displays holding more pastries and savory items as well. There's an extensive menu and plenty to choose from. The employees are super helpful and continually ask the lingering guests if they are ready to order. I don't eat red meat so I enjoyed a Brazilian chicken sandwich (pictured), chicken empanada, and a shrimp fried turnover (not sure what the actual name is). I hesitated getting an iced coffee because I am SUPER picky about coffee. I can only have non-dairy milks and prefer my coffee very sweet so I usually have to customize the heck out of my coffees but this place nailed it! The coffee was delicious and plenty sweet. Great Brazilian bakery with lots of delicious sweet treats and a small market area. Everything was neat and clean inside. We had a sweet tooth late one evening and decided to try something new. The staff was friendly and tried to explain all the different items to us. We were newbies and wanted to try everything. We picked 3 different sweets. One was a dense tapioca rice pudding cake with coconut shavings and condensed milk on top. Very rich and thick. I also had a pineapple coconut cake that was soft and smooth. And the third piece was a cream filled pastry that's very similar to an American cream puff but sweeter. All very delightful. Try their chocolates. It is like nothing else you've tried. It's thicker, lighter, etc.. You can order cakes and sweets for parties. You can now sit down to eat, whereas due to covid most was take out only. Everyone wears a mask and gloves. Price: I think it's pricey for families. They may miss adjustments to your order (no tomatoes, 1 egg, etc) probably because of the quick service, langauge barrier, or maybe training to make adjustments despite a trained routine.
