As soon as we approached this store I spied their jewelry display and made a beeline. No olives in sight, hence their name. The store is super cute and the owner, Kristen, makes use of every inch of space. She has been there for 8 months and hopefully will be a fixture there. The selection of jewelry as well as how it was displayed sucked me in. I couldn't believe the price points. I even made a comment to Kristen on how I couldn't believe how cute everything was (nothing tacky and gawdy) and how affordable. She said that being off St George St. and not directly on helps. I probably spent a good 20-30 minutes here talking to the owner about the area and also shopping. The jewelry was very reminiscent of Stella & Dot so I spent time trying items on. Kristen also offered her long mirror in her storage closet since I was too short to use the one on display. Lol There were also fair trade items, vegan handbags based out of New Orleans made out of cork! What amazed me were the items sold to benefit worthy causes such as the handmade greeting cards made by women in the Philippines to end human trafficking. I could've spent much more time here browsing but I had my husband in tow so it was out of the question. I HIGHLY recommend this shop for that unique gift. She then tells me that she's ordered more and that they should be here on Friday, which was the last full day of my vaca. She takes my number and asks of its okay for her to text me and I give her my number, thinking there's no way she's going to get back with me. Wrong. She texts me and lets me know that yes, the shirt order is indeed here and she's pulled me one in my size. When I practically skip into the store to collect said shirt, this woman CALLS ME BY MY NAME. Who even does that anymore?!?! Needless to say, I was *quite* pleased with this little gem of a shop. Either someone is following me around the entire time, or doesn't acknowledge my presence. (Which is totally fine by me... I usually know what I'm looking for and don't require a ton of help.) I will say, when I can find a pair of shoes I like, I snatch them up. They are pretty good quality and last for quite awhile. Same for most of the clothing too. The pants here don't seem to fit my body type, but hey, you can't win em all. I do really enjoy their dresses though, and the sale racks, (while usually packed with stuff) can be a bit difficult to navigate, you can sometimes find a pretty good steal here.

Clothes on the whole were still pricier than I think they should have been considering it's an outlet location. The shirts were still around $30-50 even with discounts. There was a section in the back that has more heavily discounted items, but it's mostly one offs and finding sizes is limited. Overall: C+ Clean, organized, good shoe discounts. Finding sizes is a challenge and prices are still pretty high considering.

Went in and was pleasantly greeted and asked if they could help, replied just need to look around. They have a large selection of items; men, women, children, sun activated apparel, rain jackets, hats and accessories. Back in Nov I bought 3, long-sleeve performance wear, light weight, 100% polyester shirts. Each one has a special weave that makes it sun protection of UPF 40+, it is a quick drying fabric (they do not shrink, are dryer safe and do dry fast if you decide not to put into a dryer), and is anti-microbial and odor resistance. One of the owners of 1565 Trading Company is an artist and those are his hand drawn designs on these particular shirts, making them 1 of a kind/unique. I visited my daughter again, over the Christmas holidays and found myself back at this store. Wound up buying 3 new shirts (different designs). They had another shirt I liked and wanted, but did not have my size. They took my name and phone number and said they'd contact me when the next set of shirts came in. Sure enough got phone call telling me they had my size and made the purchase over the phone, and provided my mailing address (live in Glen Burnie, MD) and I actually had the shirt in-hand in two days. The lady I worked with is named Tara, she is the store manager. She is wonderful, very professional and extremely personable and polite individual (and easy to work with). We also did a lot of communicating by texting. I told her one of the 3 shirts I got over Christmas was the wrong size, was my fault, grabbed the wrong one. She said, not a problem return it and will exchange it for the correct size - so, I actually sent it to my daughter who will take it in for the exchange. So, although I could/would not get a refund, they definitely will work with you to exchange an item for something of equal or greater value (of course, exchange for size as in my case) - either in store or again in my case over the phone. They also carry belts, shoes, purses, scarves, perfume, hats, and other accessories. The store is neatly organized. All the racks are very close together though which makes it a very difficult store to navigate for those who are handicapped. Employees are very friendly and helpful. I'm always greeted as soon as I walk in and asked if I need assistance.
