I received great customer service when I brought my car in to have my rear view mirror glued back on to my windshield. The owner of the business, Mr. Fred, was prompt and courteous despite the fact that it was after hours, and he was trying to shut down his business and get home to his family. His price was extremely reasonable, and he even serviced my vehicle after hours. He made this one time exception for me because I had informed him that my small son (who is 5 and was with me and acting up a bit from a long day at school) and I could not get time off from my job to come in at any others point earlier in the day. A brick decided to destroy my car's back window when i was just about to drive home from a long day at work. The next morning i called A1 auto glass (the first place my dad said i should call) they gave me a quote over the phone and not only did they have my window in stock, but i was also able to take in right away. So on my way to work i dropped off the car and even though i wasnt able to leave work by the time they closed the owner was nice enough to wait for me so i could take my car home that same day:) The customer service was amazing! The owner was friendly and very understanding about my unfortunate incident with the brick, it was clear they had seen it all! After replacing the window they even vacuumed the inside of my car to remove all the glass so when i got into my car it was like nothing ever happened and i was able to put the experience behind me. Every place I called wanted an arm and leg just to check my window but when I called A1 Auto glass and tried to explain the issue , Fred Answered and was so polite and told me to bring it in to look at himself since he was unsure about the issue because the way I was explaining it. I brought my van in as the seal around the front windshield was loose plus a couple gaps where water could now get into the van. I had called other auto glass places and was told I needed to replace the entire front windshield as they could not just replace the rubber seal as it would crack the glass. When I called A-1 Auto Glass I spoke to Fred and he said they could fix the seal and just to bring it in anytime. When I arrived there was a great rush of customers at that moment and Fred handled them swiftly and with a great sense of humor. He told me it would be no problem to just repair the seal. Later upon picking up the van, he showed me what he did and I was extremely pleased. To my surprise, he then sent me on my way without any charge!! Two thumbs up! A1 Auto Glass was able to give us same day service when we were vandalized during the night and had our rear window completely demolished. We had called several other repair shops and their quote was not only quite a bit higher, but they were not able to perform the repairs until they had ordered the replacement window first. It was in the middle of the rainy season and that was just not an option. When I called A1 they said to "bring it on down". Fred was very accommodating and friendly and also gave me a ride back home as I would have been stranded there until the repairs were done,( he even offered to come back and get me if necessary to pick up my car)! It was 35 degrees in the morning, so I turned the heat on in the car to warm it up, and next thing you know, my windshield cracked from one side of the car to the next. I was on my way to work, but I knew I needed to get this fixed immediately, as I didn't want it to expand or spread. I yelped auto glass replacements near my job and found A-1 Auto Glass. I immediately called in for a quote. Fred was super friendly, funny, and accommodating as I needed to have my windshield replaced before I got off of work. He even dropped me back off at work while they worked on the replacement. Outstanding customer service!!!! I truly appreciated the care instructions provided in detail after the replacement as well. I had called Friday afternoon asking if I could get my windshield fixed that afternoon they were booked so I made an appointment for this morning at 9 AM when I got there I was treated respectfully, kindly, and promptly greeted with a wonderful handshake. I had errands and other things to do so I just left my truck there. I was told I would get a phone call when it was ready. I picked up my truck in the afternoon. Wow what a difference it is to be able to see through my windshield and not have a huge crack through the middle of it. My insurance wanted to charge me almost $400 to have it fixed. This place was honest andcharged half that and I think did a great job talk about They weren't the cheapest but I'm glad I went to them. If you need windshield work, you definitely need to go to A1-auto glass. I called in the morning and my windshield was replaced the same day. I called 20 auto glass shops and A1-auto glass beat every single quote I recieved. Fred was extremely helpful, extremely kind, and definitely went above and beyond for me and my car. Not only did they replace my windshield, they also cleaned the broken glass from my car AND removed the broken glass from my rearview mirror and reattached it for me without being asked to do so. They are the best auto glass fixers. I've been to a quite a few auto glass places and this is the best one in Stockton! My car had been broken into during work and I was debating to have the glass fixed either now or the next day. I went back and forth on the days for appointment I was unsure about it. I finally made the decisions do it now and they were VERY understanding. My car had glass everywhere not only they replaced my glass they vacuumed the entire car floor and sears and I didn't even have to ask them to do it. I was very impressed he auto shop glass usually fix the window and half ass the vacuuming but this place did so much better. They have GREAT customer service and the place is very clean I would 1000% come back here. read more

Had the back quarter window of my Outback smashed on Sunday morning. The insurance #1 'preferred' didn't have an appointment until Friday. They were able to connect me with Fred, who answered his phone on a Sunday no less, and said he would try and locate the replacement glass and would call me back at 8:30am Monday morning. Fred called right at 8:30 and said he was having the replacement glass delivered to the shop and could see me at 3:30 Monday afternoon. When I arrived at the shop, took the Outback in and got the shattered window replaced. I will definitely use Fred from now on for all my auto glass needs. I chose A-1 Auto Glass because they had the best quote when compared to other businesses around the area. I asked for a quote on Yelp around 10 PM and Fred actually replied around midnight. Fred is a really nice guy. I went in to get my windshield replaced, but got more than that. After I already paid for their service, Fred told me that my molding had to be redone and he did it free of charge. That was really kind of him. After they replaced my windshield, they left a piece of paper on my rear view mirror with reminders on it, such as avoid slamming your door, crack your windows open to allow ventilation, etc. I definitely recommend A-1 Auto Glass. read more

Great service and fair prices. Fred and his team have taken care of several auto glass issues for me over the years. They are always quick and reasonably priced. They are also honest and don't try to oversell me on things. This week our car was broken into. There was glass throughout the whole interior of the vehicle. This company has saved me time and money each time that I have taken one of my vehicles there. One my second situation my insurance set an appointment with safe-lite, they did not even look at the car before deciding that they could not replace the window. I called A-1 and they said to bring car and they would fix the switch and then be able to replace the window. I like knowing that anyone that I do business with has my best interest in mind and these guys do. I wont call anyone else. Great and excellent service!!! My work truck was broken into at Home Depot Tracy parking lot. My back window was broken and some items was stole. After going around and around with our insurance company for over a week and driving around with a broken window I just decided to get it fixed myself. Needed to have the front windshield replace on my vehicle. Sent out many requests for quote on a Sat evening (after 5pm). Fred, From A-1, sent me a quote within 5mins. The quote was reasonable based on previous quotes I had received. Brought my vehicle in at the normal scheduled time and saw the shop full.
