We wanted to be off grid, and to connect our old panels to our new panels. This didn't work out. We were also promised a $15,000 rebate check by Jonathan and Nate. Jonathan told us it would take two weeks. Nate said it would take 4. Now, we're a couple months in and we haven't seen anything. I leave voicemails for the office and I get no reply. ATX SOLAR came around our neighborhood door-to-door where the houses were just being built with only a handful finished. If you've ever been in that situation, there are LOT of people that knock on your door daily. Blake's team was very different, and the only ones that got our business. They were laid back, not pushy and just had facts about solar along with some nice small talk. Should also note they were the only people that had a business card. We set the appointment and a few days later Blake himself came to give me more info on solar and the whole unique process he takes. You could tell that Blake goes about business differently compared to the rest of the solar industry where scams are frequent. Integrity, upfront facts about panels and their output and clear communication along with setting reasonable expectations in regards to solar was how I was sold on solar, not the feeling of being pushed. We opted for the REC Alpha Black series panels and their 25year warranty. Blake and his team kept us informed via text, and email through the whole process. Just an all round smart and nice guy who has overflowing knowledge gushing out of his ears. We've ALWAYS had little annoyances with our gate motor, and for the past 3 years we just assumed the assorted quirks were just part of owning one - or should I say that the original installer convinced us of such (blaming most things on the manufacturer, and the environment). Well after our gate took a total dump on us the wife handed me a number one night and told me "you need this guy" (she made this decision based solely on his website, so I took her insistence of hiring him with a grain of salt, but chose not to argue with her, as any good husband would). Well, she was right, as usual. Not only did Jacob get our gate operational, he made it better then ever! He found every reasons the gate was occasionally misbehaving all these years due to the "creative wiring" done by the "fence guy" I hired to originally install it all. Jacob explained and showed me all the reasons, then he cleaned up the wiring, moved some things around, changed some programming, and voila, just like that every thing was delightful!
