We are very happy with our project and would recommend LEI because they were professional, courteous, reliable, and provided clear and upfront pricing. Documenting decisions in writing proved helpful for keeping everyone on the same page. Any problems we had were resolved fairly, such as correcting the direction of our stairs. Aaron is a man of his word but prefers to conduct most of his business through texting. We first contacted LEI and they promptly scheduled a time to visit our property with YPG to see what was possible within the budget we set out. We completed the design with YPG and LEI scheduled a time for the project demolition. A later approximate time for planting was set, but that was dependent on the availability of the various plants we had selected. Everything scoped in the design was completed within the budget and any add-ons we later requested were priced separately and fairly.

For months, work was moving forward almost every day, from demolition prep and grading to hardscape, planting, irrigation, lighting, fencing, pergola installation, pebble work, and the finishing touches. The quality of the work was excellent throughout. The paver patio, carport, and front entry all turned out beautifully, and the plants, irrigation, and lighting were installed with great care. We were especially impressed by the rock and pebble work, particularly the dry creek and front mow strip. The mix of stone sizes gave everything a natural, detailed, and polished look that really elevated the final result. Aaron also has a strong eye for detail. He regularly caught things that needed adjustment, even when we had not noticed them ourselves, and he stayed focused on getting everything right. While there were some issues that delayed finishing the project, Aaron took responsibility and worked with us to make them right, which we truly appreciated. To my point, this could have been communicated so much better instead of through the Receptionist, who tried to get a hold of Henry or maybe you, but stated you didn't have to call me back. I had left voicemails and asked the Receptionist to attempt to get someone to call me back for 2 weeks to no avail...only to have the contract cancelled at 7:44pm the night before. House is going on the market this weekend, so it was not great timing. Similar to what others experienced, received a quote when I caught Henry in-person doing a neighbors yard; however, have had a really difficult time getting them to actually follow-up and start the job. Putting a house on the market this week, and had a signed contract with them to start tomorrow, instead they cancel last minute at almost 8pm the night before. I've been waiting on a call-back and have left voicemails and messages with their receptionist, but not having heard from them I called earlier today and of course some things had changed from what was quoted in-person and what they were planning on doing tomorrow. I guess they did me a favor by going ahead and cancelling the appointment altogether instead of having a conversation.

We originally called Jeff to talk about fixing our drainage issues - our yard would flood every time it rained, and pool near the patio and foundation. Jeff was so thorough and explained where all our pain points were and how we could most effectively fix them. We decided to install French drains and pumps on both sides of the house to get water moving the right direction. Once we started digging, Jeff and his team realized we could make the drainage work without pumps by grading the yard differently - saving us tons of money! Naturally, we got excited and decided to increase the scope of work to include more landscaping, a few footpaths, small seating area, a bunch of sod for a new lawn, irrigation and a ton of new plants and trees. Jeff and Courtney checked in with us about budget throughout the whole project, making sure to send us new estimates when I got excited about adding something else to the revamp. The team onsite were great - personable, on time, respectful, and they also seemed to really enjoy working with each other, which we felt was a good sign. He came back with an almost $14K estimate on April 14. I'm 66 and have lung cancer, and needed the work done, so I signed the paperwork. Then the waiting game started. Over the next month I contacted the company at least 5 times by phone and email. First the wife/secretary was sick, then they were out of town, then "we're working on the May calendar", then another excuse, followed by silence. Since then my son-in-law and I got the ground leveled and prepped and are laying the pavers this weekend. Remember I'm 66 with terminal cancer and already have the pavers AND bullnose. It's NOT THAT HARD. The pergola's going in next week. It's very frustrating to deal with a contractor that has absolutely no communication skills. If you don't want the job, just tell me, don't jack me around for a month. Estimate expired May 14. Such a waste of what little time I have left. Three thumbs WAY down for this bozo.

He and his crew know what they're doing, make suggestions for better functionality, are flexible and easy-going, and to top it off are really nice people. We had a very specific, custom curved bench built by them and it was completed beyond our expectations. With any project during the pandemic, there were a couple hiccups/delays due to supply chain issues, but from start to finish the project took 2-1/2 months and we couldn't be happier.
