Good afternoon everyone, It has been a few months since several extended members and family have…read moreused Ms June's service. I have to say that Ms June and Ms Phylis are so honest, patient and knowledgeable of the business they are in. Several of my family members have taken driving lessons from either of them. Although Ms June is most direct in her teachings and is very personable, we love her patience and understanding that we are all on different skill levels with age and knowledge. At the same time Ms. Phylis is very calm, patient, encouraging, personable and sweet. But she moves on to the next task quicker than than Ms June. My family all passed road test with each of them with 100% accuracy. Several family members preferred Ms June {older ones} for her do it until you get it teachings while other ones {younger ones} liked Ms Phylis because once you say you understand the task, she will move on to the next task but she never comes back to it. My wife preferred Ms June because she does repeat all task several times during the 10 lessons (20hrs). Now with this said, both ladies are amazingly knowledgeable, and it shows. They both enjoy teaching, and it shows that this is not just a job to them, but it shows they both take pride in the job/teachings they do. We love the Kia Soul teaching cars. Each family member was very happy driving this. It sets up high and easy to maneuver as well as to get yourself out after sitting so long. They both have great sense of humor and it helped during the learning process as to not be stressed out. They are very personable and easily understood in the directions of what to do. My auntie was terrified and at 66, she wasn't sure at all if she would drive. NOW the others in her house says she hides the keys to the car so she can go when she wants to go. Like she says Ms June said I have gained my independence now and I am not waiting on anybody to take me out. We are extremely a happy family now that we are 6 Driving legally with the help and knowledge of these 2 fabulous ladies that should be recognized in Walton, Oconee and Newton Counties as "THE BEST DRIVING INSTRUCTORS EVER" If we could give them 10 Stars we would. I'll provide a little background on me. I never learned to drive in my teens. Unfortunately,…read moregrowing up, my parents were hypervigilant/overprotective and steered me away from really learning at the "assumed" age. So, I didn't get my permit until I turned 24. However, I lived in Connecticut and then Brooklyn for awhile before moving back to GA almost 10 years later. Living in cities with easily accessible public transportation (Metro North/NYC Subway) pushed learning to the backburner. So, basically, I'm an older student genuinely learning for the first time. I purchased the 10 hour package. And, I admit I'm an overly cautious driver and make rookie mistakes. Even so, I'm determined to learn to become competent and realize that means taking directions and learning from my errors. So, what do I think about Just Drive Right? Scheduling was easy. My instructor was extremely professional and never was late to a scheduled session. My instructor was experienced, knew the rules of the road to a "T" and would demonstrate any errors I made on a tablet so I can better envision how to improve. I'm not hypersensitive to strong direction. Because you WILL be corrected STRONGLY. Understandably, any mistake, even a small one, could potentially cost you your life (and the life of others). There would be days that my instructor would go over time to assist (which definitely wasn't expected). You are in very good hands and can trust that you (or your child) is sitting with an experienced driver. I signed up for a risk reduction class in December with the classes beginning on Monday, 1/12/26. I…read moredidn't receive the link until Friday 1/9/26 explaining that a workbook was needed (physical or virtual). I requested a physical workbook due to my eyesight and was told to be at the Duluth office to pick it up on Monday by 4:00 (they are not open on weekends) on the day of the class (1/12/26). I left work early and arrived by 4:00 only to find they were closed. I was told the office manager left early and I had to view the workbook electronically. That was just the first red flag. I realized early in the class that the instructor did not seem to like me by his responses to my answers to some of his questions. I was trying to show that I was present and participating, but he was condescending and he belittled/berated me if he disagreed with my responses. By the last day, he questioned in class if the children that I work with even like me (the classes are recorded). This was personally not a positive experience for me. I would not recommend. Finally, the communication appears to be primarily via text messages, and the beginning of the thread seems to be automated (at least over the weekend) since I asked questions that were never answered and the responses were generic. It asked if wanted to participate in another program, but when I asked what it was, I didn't receive an answer. If you text them with issues during the week, an actual person will respond, it just takes a while.

Nathans partnered with my daughter's school and offered a drivers ed course on half days. With…read morelittle notice, Nathans told the kids and parents that there was a mandatory 2 full day course that needed to be completed. Parents moved schedules around and now - 1 day before the course was to start, Nathans has canceled the course (due to alleged "low enrollment") and stated new weekend days that would be required. Nathans never asked who was attending and at least 10 families have indicated they had every intention of attending the course. Scheduling, and communication related to that, has been a disaster. There is no way possible that a business professional is running this company.

My daughter attended Nathans. From the classes there, it's unclear that the instructors know how…read moreto drive. The teachers lost control of the class every class. At the end of the class, she could never pass the test and had to retake. There were not enough driving instructors to ever schedule them in person. Institutions like this are the clear argument for repealing the requirement for driving instruction before obtaining a license. That law breeds scam and fraudulence. Nathans is an outgrowth of that and a foreseeable consequence. Let me save you 32 hours + of your life.
