Devin not only clearly explained the proper procedures, demonstrated them and reviewed my technique but he expanded the detail using real world, potential, scenarios. While the class time was expedient I never felt like we were rushing through the material. Devin listened to my questions, and even a couple of stories, and responded thoroughly with emphasis on the value of this important skill training. I would recommend Academy of CPR to anyone who wants real understanding and not just a certificate. I came here for a re-certification for CPR, AED, and First Aid for ACI - Adult, Child, and Infant. Laura M. was our Instructor & she led/taught the 4-hour course clearly & concisely. The Q&A between Laura & the students was very helpful in learning the training curriculum. The CPR Training School issue Certification Cards the day of Class as well as offering certification classes 7 days a week. The school also offers additional certifications for BLS for healthcare providers & advanced ACLS. They also provide on-site training for companies & their employees. The CPR Training School can also train individuals to be CPR instructors. A great course, at a good price & I received my Certification Cards via email before I made it home. I'll return to the CPR Training School for my future re-certifications.

I did my third internship ride along with an ambulance crew, they were highly impressed with my skills and it is all thanks to this school You get so much support from all the teachers and the administration My 2nd ridealong as a EMT-B with GAIEMS I had 5 codes, I had to perform CPR and all the skills I have been taught all night long and it was second nature thanks to the training I have received. We lost one patient but the other 5 we were able to get to hospital and stabilized. You can't believe how well prepared you are for getting on a truck because of the unique training you get from GA Institute. I drive 2.5 hours each way just to get to go to this school. It is the best in the state. You have the online stuff to constantly review along the way and go back over when it is time to go for you National Registry exam. Failure is not option here because they help you to be a success by given you multiple ways to learn and by being there to ask questions even over email or the phone within hours THIS IS THE BEST EMT SCHOOL in the STATE!! My experience with the Georgia Institute of EMS began with high hopes but ended in a legal dispute…read more I am sharing the facts of my journey so prospective students can have a more complete picture. I enrolled in the AEMT program in February 2024. A few months into the program, in August 2024, I was informed that I was "behind" and was presented with two options: transfer into a more expensive "Flex" program for an additional cost of over $2,000, or I would fail the program. From my perspective, I had no choice but to agree to the additional expense to continue my education. After transferring, the primary issue became the scheduling of my required clinical rotations. Despite my requests, the school did not secure the necessary placements for me in a timely manner. By January 2025, with my course end-date approaching, I was informed that to get the additional time I now needed to complete my clinicals--time I needed because of what I contend were the school's scheduling delays--I would have to pay a new, additional fee of $700 per month. I felt this was unreasonable, as the need for an extension appeared to be a direct result of the school's inability to schedule me. When I was unable to resolve this matter with the administration, I filed a breach-of-contract claim in magistrate court to recover my tuition. In response to my lawsuit for a refund, the Georgia Institute of EMS filed a counterclaim against me for defamation, based on an online review I had posted. After the case was recently moved to Superior Court at the school's request, they increased the amount they are seeking in their defamation counterclaim to $25,000. My educational journey here did not meet my expectations. I would advise potential students to carefully consider all aspects of the program and its policies before enrolling.

Good afternoon everyone, It has been a few months since several extended members and family have…read moreused Ms June's service. I have to say that Ms June and Ms Phylis are so honest, patient and knowledgeable of the business they are in. Several of my family members have taken driving lessons from either of them. Although Ms June is most direct in her teachings and is very personable, we love her patience and understanding that we are all on different skill levels with age and knowledge. At the same time Ms. Phylis is very calm, patient, encouraging, personable and sweet. But she moves on to the next task quicker than than Ms June. My family all passed road test with each of them with 100% accuracy. Several family members preferred Ms June {older ones} for her do it until you get it teachings while other ones {younger ones} liked Ms Phylis because once you say you understand the task, she will move on to the next task but she never comes back to it. My wife preferred Ms June because she does repeat all task several times during the 10 lessons (20hrs). Now with this said, both ladies are amazingly knowledgeable, and it shows. They both enjoy teaching, and it shows that this is not just a job to them, but it shows they both take pride in the job/teachings they do. We love the Kia Soul teaching cars. Each family member was very happy driving this. It sets up high and easy to maneuver as well as to get yourself out after sitting so long. They both have great sense of humor and it helped during the learning process as to not be stressed out. They are very personable and easily understood in the directions of what to do. My auntie was terrified and at 66, she wasn't sure at all if she would drive. NOW the others in her house says she hides the keys to the car so she can go when she wants to go. Like she says Ms June said I have gained my independence now and I am not waiting on anybody to take me out. We are extremely a happy family now that we are 6 Driving legally with the help and knowledge of these 2 fabulous ladies that should be recognized in Walton, Oconee and Newton Counties as "THE BEST DRIVING INSTRUCTORS EVER" If we could give them 10 Stars we would.
