Alex is professional, reliable and very caring. He makes sure the goals are discussed from the beginning. He works with the teenager while communicating with the parents, keeping them informed which for me was extremely important. Before calling him I had called another driving school and the person on the phone was very dry and seemed not interested in a new customer. Alex assists you through all the steps, before signing, during and even after by proving documents and guidance.

I requested a physical workbook due to my eyesight and was told to be at the Duluth office to pick it up on Monday by 4:00 (they are not open on weekends) on the day of the class (1/12/26). I left work early and arrived by 4:00 only to find they were closed. I was told the office manager left early and I had to view the workbook electronically. That was just the first red flag. I realized early in the class that the instructor did not seem to like me by his responses to my answers to some of his questions. I was trying to show that I was present and participating, but he was condescending and he belittled/berated me if he disagreed with my responses. By the last day, he questioned in class if the children that I work with even like me (the classes are recorded). This was personally not a positive experience for me. I would not recommend. Finally, the communication appears to be primarily via text messages, and the beginning of the thread seems to be automated (at least over the weekend) since I asked questions that were never answered and the responses were generic. It asked if wanted to participate in another program, but when I asked what it was, I didn't receive an answer. If you text them with issues during the week, an actual person will respond, it just takes a while.

My intake call was compassionate, friendly and understanding. As an adult driver, I felt embarrassed, but the individual who took my call was so understanding. I had lessons set up with Ms. Karen, who I HIGHLY recommend. She was patient and didn't push. After 10 lessons with Ms. Karen, I am now driving normally to my place of work and leisure. I feel like I have my life back. And that is thanks to Trillium.

The owner actually answers the phone, answers all questions, kept me calm (this is my young driver) & got us scheduled. What a nice guy - don't remember his name. The actual instuctor is also SUPER nice- says my daughter. She said he was calm, they laughed & he was great! He told me she is a great driver, so that's reassuring!!! They took 3 2-hr sessions together. First on the normal road & around town. Second day was practicing parking, etc. Day 3 was hwy 316 & 85.... at 5:30-7:30 pm on a Monday. She did it & now will look at getting her license in July!! Thank you Trillium- better you teach then me! WELL DONE!!
