I requested a physical workbook due to my eyesight and was told to be at the Duluth office to pick it up on Monday by 4:00 (they are not open on weekends) on the day of the class (1/12/26). I left work early and arrived by 4:00 only to find they were closed. I was told the office manager left early and I had to view the workbook electronically. That was just the first red flag. I realized early in the class that the instructor did not seem to like me by his responses to my answers to some of his questions. I was trying to show that I was present and participating, but he was condescending and he belittled/berated me if he disagreed with my responses. By the last day, he questioned in class if the children that I work with even like me (the classes are recorded). This was personally not a positive experience for me. I would not recommend. Finally, the communication appears to be primarily via text messages, and the beginning of the thread seems to be automated (at least over the weekend) since I asked questions that were never answered and the responses were generic. It asked if wanted to participate in another program, but when I asked what it was, I didn't receive an answer. If you text them with issues during the week, an actual person will respond, it just takes a while.

They took 3 2-hr sessions together. First on the normal road & around town. Second day was practicing parking, etc. Day 3 was hwy 316 & 85.... at 5:30-7:30 pm on a Monday. However, I lived in Connecticut and then Brooklyn for awhile before moving back to GA almost 10 years later. Living in cities with easily accessible public transportation (Metro North/NYC Subway) pushed learning to the backburner. So, basically, I'm an older student genuinely learning for the first time. I purchased the 10 hour package. And, I admit I'm an overly cautious driver and make rookie mistakes. Even so, I'm determined to learn to become competent and realize that means taking directions and learning from my errors. So, what do I think about Just Drive Right? Scheduling was easy. My instructor was extremely professional and never was late to a scheduled session. My instructor was experienced, knew the rules of the road to a "T" and would demonstrate any errors I made on a tablet so I can better envision how to improve. I'm not hypersensitive to strong direction. Because you WILL be corrected STRONGLY. Understandably, any mistake, even a small one, could potentially cost you your life (and the life of others). There would be days that my instructor would go over time to assist (which definitely wasn't expected). You are in very good hands and can trust that you (or your child) is sitting with an experienced driver. Parents please think twice and read their reviews before you sign your teen with this company. I'm sorry I didn't do my research before I signed up. Even the BBB gave them "F" rating. So, a year after she finished her training, we recontacted Nathan's to request a confirmation letter. Nathan himself called me to confirm a few details, and then wrote and delivered a driver training confirmation letter within 24 hours! Helpful, friendly, customer-service oriented, easy and flexible to work with - and they recognize you and help you if you call back a year later. And the instructor showed up 10 minutes late... I think they need to work on communication and punctuality. The lesson itself was ok, I thought he would have more structure to the lesson but he just let me drive wherever I wanted and gave tips as we went instead of instructing me where to go like what an actual road test proctor would do. This kind of made me feel unsafe because I didn't know where I was going and I was driving without purpose. He was very knowledgeable in parallel parking so I got a lot of help but he didn't know much about reverse parking (he said he hasn't taught someone reverse parking in a while). So if you want to take a lesson here, come prepared with questions and exactly what you want to work on because the instructor doesn't provide anything unless you ask.

If I had known how life changing this course would be, I would have done it right away! Yes, you read that right, and no, I am not crazy. I cannot tell you how beneficial and easy to complete what seemed like an eternity in a class room. The owner and instructor are amazing, caring people that will impact your life in a comfortable, non judgmental atmosphere. The facility offers, padded office chairs, FREE breakfast, including pop-tarts, breakfast bars,yogurt, cottage cheese, snacks, tea, and coffee with every flavored creamer imaginable!! Ms Kay baked banana bread for us the second day and Ms Cindy ordered pizza for our lunch after that. WOW!! Also, if you're a smoker, you will be glad to know that there is a 10 minute break every hour, with an hour lunch break. Most importantly, they do not have any hidden charges and will not make you pay one penny extra. I enrolled in AJA because it was very close to my house. Big Mistake! They cancelled class the night before and refused to give me a refund, which I am reporting to DDS. They charged a woman $30 for her graduation certificate with is included in the fee here.
