So there's a few misconceptions about this…read moreplace (Action Recycling Center) With COVID-19 being in place, their hours have changed like most other places, even big stores such as Walmart. Their hours Mon-Fri 8:30-4:30Pm & Sat 8-4Pm. Also when it comes to closing, like every other place, they ask for people to come 15 minutes before, so don't be that person who shows up last minute. They do have a strict policy as well with masks (it's mandatory). They are pretty nice people too, when you see a person on the street with no mask (nowadays), the average person doesn't just go up and yell at them. They're only asking for us to be considerate, since they are in the heat (or cold) all day long while wearing masks. Plus! Aren't they the ones who are gathering, sorting, and picking up your materials? That takes a toll on one's body, just saying‍ Lastly, when it comes to how clean the place is, it can get dirty yes, but they really do try to keep on top of it Thanks Action Recycling for being open during this pandemic and wish all of you guys well! Regardless, I can't justify less than 4 stars on this landfill they do everything they promised - they took my junk and put far away from me in a whole in the ground (or a mountain to be more precise). We had a couple truckloads of old sod and dirt and...we...dumped it. The folks were nice, the last time we were there a guy in a WM truck actually drove up to us and asked us if we needed any water or anything. That's pretty good service. My dad was an executive of one of Waste Managements divisions for many years and he always spoke highly of them and, in particular, of their commitment to safety. This landfill really stresses safety from the moment you enter until the time you leave and I appreciate that.

There are a couple self serve can recycling placing around Aurora but they break down all the time and tend to smell really bad. Decided to try this place out and it's great. The employees are super nice, helpful and the prices they pay are the best around. When you get there, follow the arrows around and into the building. Dump your cans and they'll tell you what to do next. They take lots of metals so give them al cal if you need to verify before hand.

Pro: 1. no lugging around a big bag of quarters, this place is 100% cash free. You need to transfer your monies onto a "Wash Card". 2. The Washer/ Dryer will text your cell phone when your load is complete. 3. Everything is new and clean. 4. Free high speed wifi internet. Con: 1. no vending machines, food, drink or otherwise. 2. not enough chairs if you choose to wait in the lounge. 3. tables to fold laundry are way to small and also not enough. 4. prices are on the steep side. with this said, I did find the attendant very helpful in explaining how to transfer money onto the wash card and how to use the washer/dryer.
