He said the job would be done that night and I could pick it up either later that night or tomorrow. Four days later and about fifteen texts about how hard he was working and how difficult the job was I simply threatened to call the police if he didn't return my computer. a day later and two missed appointments later we finally met at Ideas in Aurora mall. The computer was destroyed. Legal alternatives are being explored. Enough said? There is more. The owner said Thomas didn't even work there and that he owed everyone money and that he would fix the problem. I don't have the courage to give the shop a second chance. I went to micro center and bought a new one. I don't even want to drive past anymore.

However Thomas took his time to install what I thought was Legal software on it and tried to give me a good product. About 2 weeks later, I bought the same computer for my wife....this time, it was sold without a battery...We were told that a battery would be sent to us, and when it arrived, it was both wrong and also some other computer part was sent to our house. We drove the 45 minutes back down to Aurora to drop this off....about 3 weeks later the battery arrived. During this 3 week period my wife's computer said that "windows is not genuine"....Of course this made me wonder if he sold a computer with stolen software. I made several attempts to contact A-1 and with no phone calls back. This being said the computer that i bought first also has the same problem. I have reported A-1 to the BBB and as of now, they didn't reply to the first letter that was sent....most likely because they cant find anything between the piles of junk. I would warn anyone who goes here to be warned.

Their hours Mon-Fri 8:30-4:30Pm & Sat 8-4Pm. Also when it comes to closing, like every other place, they ask for people to come 15 minutes before, so don't be that person who shows up last minute. They do have a strict policy as well with masks (it's mandatory). They are pretty nice people too, when you see a person on the street with no mask (nowadays), the average person doesn't just go up and yell at them. They're only asking for us to be considerate, since they are in the heat (or cold) all day long while wearing masks. Plus! Aren't they the ones who are gathering, sorting, and picking up your materials? That takes a toll on one's body, just saying‍ Lastly, when it comes to how clean the place is, it can get dirty yes, but they really do try to keep on top of it Thanks Action Recycling for being open during this pandemic and wish all of you guys well! Regardless, I can't justify less than 4 stars on this landfill they do everything they promised - they took my junk and put far away from me in a whole in the ground (or a mountain to be more precise). We had a couple truckloads of old sod and dirt and...we...dumped it. The folks were nice, the last time we were there a guy in a WM truck actually drove up to us and asked us if we needed any water or anything. That's pretty good service. My dad was an executive of one of Waste Managements divisions for many years and he always spoke highly of them and, in particular, of their commitment to safety. This landfill really stresses safety from the moment you enter until the time you leave and I appreciate that.

There are a couple self serve can recycling placing around Aurora but they break down all the time and tend to smell really bad. Decided to try this place out and it's great. The employees are super nice, helpful and the prices they pay are the best around. When you get there, follow the arrows around and into the building. Dump your cans and they'll tell you what to do next. They take lots of metals so give them al cal if you need to verify before hand.

The cluster f**k at the scale to weigh-in for steel is a disaster and you have to fight vehicles coming in the other direction even if you were there first. When they weighed it came out to be 85 pounds. They'll give you the best price for your copper, but doesn't mean they won't skim off of the top.
