They rolled with it, and and in about 3 hours they had everything moved out. They generously stayed firm on the initial estimate, which was a very fair price, but I managed to argue them up a little - they truly deserved it. Saved my back and so much of my time. They must be Tetris grandmasters: their van was already nearly half-full, and I couldn't believe how they fit all of my junk in their van!
