The inspection took about 2 hours and 45 minutes which was 30 minutes longer then the estimated time. What appeared to be a very well done a thorough inspection turned out to be a terrible job. Our home was only a couple years old, however, there was a custom deck added onto the back. Underneath it was the HVAC intake and exhaust which wasn't up to code due to the deck above it and poor air flow between the pipes. This led to the exhaust choking the intake causing our furnace to shut off. The rep from Bryant was ASTOUNDED that James hadn't caught it in the inspection -- "this is really basic I can't believe he didn't catch it," said the rep. This ultimately cost us $1,700 to fix the furnace and reroute the pipes out the other side of the house. All I asked James for was the $700 I paid him for the inspection-- felt like that was being extremely fair given inspection plus his mistake cost us a bit over $2,400. James never got back to me and conveniently vanished like a fart in the wind when called and emailed by myself and my real estate agent over and over again. I see plenty of other great reviews but a miss like this paired with no accountability isn't worth the risk-- choose another option.
