So when I went to lock the door it felt like my key was going to break off. Found out I had to lift the door handle up then lock. I spent to much money to have to work hard to lock and open a door. Then the windows I had installed, one of them started spotting on the inside. A window in my bathroom, I went to open to clean, I couldn't shut it. It took me and my husbands wait to push it back up. So I had called had a guy come out look at my problems. He took notes and left. We got a call a little later saying our replacement windows and what not was in. We made an apt for the installer to come and fix my problems. He got there on time but staid for two minutes. The new window was to big for the frame. They didn't make it the right size. He forced it into the frame and said yup it's tight and really hard to open. I'll have to talk to my manager about this. Why why do you? Then the bathroom window he looks at it and says oh yea I don't have any tools to fix this. (Which I find interesting because he had the parts needed to fix the window in his HANDS! So one would think hey I need tools for these parts I'm holding!) so I'll have to run to the shop and come back maybe it will be me or maybe some one else I don't know, but I'll call you later today and let you know what's going on. We will be back today to finish. So apparently he got lost to the shop, because no one called or showed back up. So we waited all day for the punk. I called at the end of the day and no one so far has called us back. So I'm left with a Broken bathroom window and a main room window we can't open! They are very unprofessional. I have a dog who is sick with cancer and an 8month old that both needs a lot of attention. My husband works thirds so he had to stay up all afternoon waiting for this person to come back or call, when he was supposed to be sleeping to deal with these people. That's not right, it's rude! Oh and we got a loan for the windows threw them. They didn't tell us that they were going to put a lean on our house. So that was a nice surprise down the road. If you get a loan with them look it over very carefully and look at the interest rates! We had an estimate done for siding and by the time we would have it paid off we would have spent over 30k!

I hired Ruther Construction to tear off my roof and replace it with an owens corning roof…read more They started my job within just 2 weeks and did a complete tear off of layers that had to go back to the early 1900s when the house was built, must have been 2 layers of shake and 2 layers of shingles, and replaced it with a new owens corning roof with all the trimmings on my 2 story with attched 1 story addition in just 3 days. He was even willing to negotiate details of the job that other roofing companies would not consider to lower the costs, such as my providing the 30 yard dumpster and haul away. His crew made sure that they did an efficent job cleaning up and making sure that all trash and debri made it into that dumpster as well. I had been taking bids on that roof for over 2 years and Derrick took pride in outshining them all with first his price and then his performance. The job was completed on a Saturday except for 1 roof vent with a manufacture defect that we could not purchase until the following Monday. Even though Derrick had been paid in full for the project, he showed back up personally and installed the vent him self without having to be hounded to finish it. I needed a new gutter installed after that and i was so happy with Derricks performance on the job, Derrick and he had proved to me that his companies reputation and that my satisfaction was his number 1 personal concern, that i just gave him the gutter work no bid.
