Moon Nurseries came out and found that only about 10-12 inches had been ground and that the root had not been removed. We watched the process and while it looked like a lot was hauled away, disappointing to find that it was only a surface job. Moon let us know that this is an unreliable and slick process used by unreliable companies that the customer is typically unaware of. I have to wonder what Carlos would have done himself in planting a new tree? When calling him out to find a solution he was defensive and accused us of not telling him to go deeper initially. Benjamin was very friendly, professional, and caring when I interacted with him. He was willing to help my neighbor out and do a few extra things out of the kindness of his heart, as my neighbor was handicapped. They completed the job exactly as expected. They took great care to limit any objects from falling into my yard. (I have a water feature directly below the tree they were moving, so we didn't want that damaged). He put new wires and cut them very short and left the job. He also did not fully clean, I pulled the weeds he left behind while he was cleaning himself up to leave. I saw him blowing the front and then he hopped in his truck and left without a word or to see if it was satisfactory. My whole porch was still dirty with debris. I waited weeks to see if he would come back. My partner explained nothing was broken and he lied. My partner bought more wires and reconnected everything and it worked. Nothing was broken. He had me pay for wiring and left all my plants I watered for weeks because of his lie. I asked when he was coming back for the second service you normally get in a month and he said no that was a one time clean up fee. For the month that much? He ran out on that overly priced cleanup without finishing. He also didn't even try and book the second month. He kept insisting he was not scamming me. What business person would not follow up for second months service? A guilty thief.

At the beginning, I was only comfortable with Mario himself handling my service, but over time I got to know two of his team members, Jose and Misael. Jose is truly Top Notch -- he lives up to the company's name. He's very knowledgeable, smart, and understands every aspect of landscaping, from sprinkler systems to low-voltage electrical work. I couldn't be happier. These guys are fantastic and also do construction work such as installing pavers, driveways, and more. I highly recommend this company and encourage anyone to reach out to Mario. I've already referred him to a few of my neighbors -- he's working on one home next door, and hopefully more will follow.
