Update 2/11/2026 You are sorry I feel this way? You charged…read more$847 for the quilt and returned only $200. I have added another picture of where just now I sewed another place you missed. I told you I was in no hurry to get it back. I'm sure I will have to continue to make repairs on this quilt. This was a very special quilt for me. I lost my husband in 2024 and wanted his HD t-shirts to snuggle under not worry about constantly making repairs on his quilt. You admitted you can't see well enough to sew on black. You had someone else sew it and they did a terrible job. You never saw those areas. Maybe it's time to stop making quilts so you don't disappoint anyone else. Evidently you don't see well either. I was extremely disappointed that within a day I saw major problems with the quality of the sewing of the quilt. There were several places where the black binding strips connecting the t-shirts had been not sewn together. One t-shirt had torn apart from the quilt as the edge had barely been caught and it didn't stay attached. I sewed it by hand. Then I started seeing all the other problem areas. When I contacted her she said she hired someone else to sew the black binding on to the t-shirts because it was hard for her to see it when she sewed. I finally told her it was her responsibility to make sure it was quality work. I paid over $800 for this quilt and told her there was no rush to get it back when originally brought the t-shirts to her. She said to me that she was trying to hurry and get it back to me. I reminded her I was in no rush. I had waited a year after my husband's death to have this done and to be done correctly. Now there is a huge flaw on it with one t-shirt having hand stitched it back to the binding by me. She said she couldn't have done it any better. She refunded $200 but the experience was ruined for me. Lack of careful attention to a quilt that means a lot to me. I do not recommend. I tried to attach pics of the flaws but for some reason they would show for me to attach them.

From the owner: I make tshirt quilts (aka memory quilts). I work diligently for each and all quilt. read more
