We hired Accu-Tile to help and guide us through a total renovation of our home, in the Town of…read moreNewburgh, which included demolition and re-construction of all walls, floors and ceilings, a fireplace, kitchen and bathroom. The renovation took 11 months. Rich Quilles, the owner of Accu-Tile, couldn't have been more helpful or easier to work with. He was always available to us. Rich brought in a crew to do the demolition and help us select the perfect floor: a porcelain tile that looked like wood. The bathroom tiles we selected from his samples are just beautiful. They had a wonderful selection to choose from. The granite for our kitchen countertops is beautiful. When we explained what color granite we, Rich search and located a piece of granite in New Jersey. He brought it all the way to Newburgh to show it to us and it was exactly the color we wanted. We also selected stone for our fireplace from an amazing choice of samples. Not only are we completely satisfied with the materials, we are extremely satisfied with the quality of the workmanship used to install our floors, bathroom tiles, marble bathroom vanity tops, fireplace, kitchen granite and backsplash for our kitchen. Everything was cut and fitted perfectly. We were so happy with Accu-Tile that we hired them the following year to install granite for our outdoor kitchen. One again, they did a beautiful job. I strongly recommend Accu-Tile. Rich C.

Richie seems like a very nice person at first. Told me about his kids and even tried to give me…read morelife advice. I asked him via text if he had any 35x35 tiles at the shop. He said yes and to come in and look the next day. He didn't have ANY 35x35's. He lied to get me in his shop to look at other style tiles I might like. Waste of time. I used tiles I bought for the job instead. I gave him a tile and plumbing job. I stressed that everything had to be done before the weekend as I was celebrating my girlfriends birthday. He assured me everything including the plumbing would be done by Friday. Friday came, the tile was done (not the best job) but the plumbing was not. I needed an adapter for my shower faucet to fit properly. I asked him if he can have his plumber pick one up. Didn't get a response. He called me later and said his plumber was pissed and had been at home depot for an hour and a half looking for the part. He then had me go out hunting for the part and even asked me to go to Home Depot where his plumber had supposedly already been. I came home empty handed but told him I still wanted the plumbing done. He tells me its too late and his plumber can't make it. He knew his plumber was never going to be able to make it by Friday and had me go out searching for the part anyway to create an excuse for the plumber not to come. He said "how's tomorrow" knowing it wouldn't work for me. Onto the tile job. His guys didn't speak any English. They used and angle grinder for cutting almost everything including the scluter edges. Nothing looks clean. They put grout between the tile and the sink when it should be caulking. Richie said he would throw in a backsplash that matched the sink. He didn't. The one his guy provided is darker than the sink and doesn't look right at all. When Richie was at my house looking at the job he started talking about religion. How the Jewish people are a cult and they're taking over the area. He mentioned some derogatory comments about them that I can't disclose here. All I could say as he was venting was "wow really, that's terrible" I was in an uncomfortable position. I wish I didn't have to write this review, but people need to know about the dishonesty and quality of work. I don't want others to have to go through the same thing.
