They said they could have me in for a consultation same day and after the consultation we made an appointment for me to do my hair with Krista. Oh my goodness. Any anxiety I had went away immediately when I walked to the shop and Krista waved hi to me. Honestly one of the warmest sweetest people I've had the pleasure of meeting AND she is a master of hair magic. She communicated with me throughout, made sure I was happy and comfortable, and let me know what was happening while she was doing my hair. Y'all, I am beyond amazed and impressed with how everything turned out. I have really thick unruly curly hair in my opinion and she tamed it and styled it and I already know even after I wash my hair and do my natural curls, it's going to look amazing. She checked in with me to make sure that the color was what I wanted and when the first time wasn't as vibrant as I wanted she helped me adjust until I was satisfied. Honestly this was the greatest experience I've had this year, if not my whole life with hair. The shop is also gorgeous and immaculate and I know whenever I have any hair-related needs I will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much wonderful staff at Bloom and especially Krista! I was hopeful, coming back, expecting a more satisfying experience than last, but that was not the case. I won't go into detail in case my review will be asked to be taken down again. Long story short, Salon 815 never seems to be prepared for walk-ins. I do not want to continuously hear "make an appointment". If that is the case, please label this salon as appointment only. The wait time for a walk-in is ridiculous. Not only that, but the colors are very limited (for gel). 2 stars for the nail techs because they are extremely kind and mean well. I know none of this is their fault. I just think the salon as a whole could do a lot better if they really want regulars. But there are a lot of other and better options in the West Portal area if you feel the same as me. Don't let the fancy interior fool you!

This is suppose to be a brunette balayage with a medium length haircut. As you can see in the pics the color job was far from what she asked for and such a horrible job. Elenie had the nerve to post a picture that was obviously edited, on her Instagram. My daughter's hair did not look like what was posted as you can see in the picture. On top of it, she butcher her long beautiful hair and cut it so poorly. The pics show it all. Even when we were speaking on the phone and I was describing how uneven the hair was, she said she can't believe it.
