This used to be my go to car wash but the last 3 car washes have been horrible. The staff that cleans and dries the cars are lazy, they lightly wipe your car, don't use the air hose to blow off the residual water. It's annoying that I have to spend an extra 30mins at home having to clean up what they didnt. read more

I've been coming here for over 4 years, mainly for the convenience of how close it is to my house. They do a decent job, never the best because I always have to go back behind them, but it's pretty decent enough to drive around. I recently went and got my car washed and I left the sunroof cover open. When I got home, I saw there were large finger prints on the glass. I didn't think too much of it because, again, I'm used to going behind them and wiping additional parts down because they missed it. When I went to close the sunroof cover, the left side of the cover was broken off the latch so the cover couldn't close. I called them immediately and spoke to the lady at the cashier, she said a manager would call me the next day. They never did. It was a long holiday weekend, so I wanted to follow up the following business day. Called again and spoke with a male cashier and he told me "We're not responsible for any damage, good luck". WOW! My friend took my car in today to speak with the owner, and the owner completely lashed out and disrespected him in front of everyone, including customers. Yelling, screaming, and very belittling. Accusing me of lying and insulting me and my car. This is how business is conducted here. Absolutely disgusting. If I could give 0 stars, I would. What a piece of shit. read more

Pleasanton Hand Car Wash at Pimlico Drive in Pleasanton. None that I like with that establishment, except that it is close to where I live. The services are expensive, and they only do a mediocre job. The worst part is that their website says they're open from 9 AM to 5 PM. One time I went there at 3 PM, they were already closed (that was last Friday). Today, I called (since I'm only 10 minutes away) to see if they can accommodate me if I get there close to the closing time. The receptionist asked the manager, and the manager said that if I get there even a little bit after 5 PM, they will accommodate me. I got there a minute before 5 PM, and they were closed. I told the manager about the call and just said they are closed. That's a major communication problem: the call and the information on their website. While they did a great job, waxing the car and getting the great majority of the interior clean, it was also a bad experience on three counts. One, they missed vacuuming a section between the seats, and it wasn't until I drove away that I noticed lots of obvious debris visibly showing. Second, after I generously tipped one of the two guys who had finished my car, he rudely snatched the money out of my hand, and then gave a nervous look toward the other guy before I realized what he was doing - - he wanted to conceal the tip so that he didn't have to share it with the other person. Third, it wasn't until I'd driven it all the way across town that I realize the driver's floormat was missing, so I had to make a second trip. To top it all off, I didn't even get a decent apology after I drove all the way across town to pick up the missing item, and they didn't offer me any discount or anything on future service. Clearly they are all about making the short term sale, and not about the long-term relationship. I realize it's difficult to manage small businesses which is why I try to explain all this to them in a nice way, but they were just nonchalant about it. I guess I need to go elsewhere. read more

Do not come here! This was my first and last time. Do not make the same mistake i did. This was the worst experience and encounter i have ever had with management. I paid $50 to get my car handwashed close their closing time. The service seemed decent and the young manager was friendly but the next day when I was driving in the sun, I seen marks all over my windows so I decided to call and see if maybe they wouldnt mind rewashing it. As soon as the Manager (older man) got on the phone he was very rude and stated it was calcium from sprinklers. I did not understand how he could make such a conclusion on the phone? I stated I was not around any sprinklers so he rudley told me to come in to "show me". As soon as I arrived I informed him that i did not appreciate him talking to me in such a disrespectful way, he stated that i dont know him and thats him. Once I showed him my concerns, he said he was correct over the phone and it would cost me an "arm and a leg" for them to clean it. He then ordered his employee to spray my car with windex so he can "prove a point" so I can apologize to him. At that point I knew I was wasting my time and patience so I told them to forget it and got in my car to leave. As i am trying to back up, he stood behind my car to not let me leave! He then told his employee to spray my car after I clearly asks them not to, I had to again get out of my car and ask them to stop while telling him this was the worst experience I have ever had and I will not be recommending this place to anyone. As he stated "he does not give an F". I not only was so angry for being disrespected, but it made me think of how horrible he must talk to and treat his employees. One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I paid $44 for a car wash and my car was not even fully washed--there were obvious mud stains still on the mirrors and windshield. On top of that, they damaged my windshield wiper, which was perfectly fine before coming here. When I called to speak with the owner to address these issues, it somehow got even worse. The owner was extremely aggressive, rude, and completely unprofessional. Instead of taking responsibility, he raised his voice, acted hostile, and actually threatened me. This is not how any business--especially one dealing directly with customers--should operate. Overpriced, careless work paired with an owner who is bullying and intimidating when confronted about mistakes. If something goes wrong (and it likely will), expect to be treated horribly. I stopped taking my vehicles to this location after I got complained to the manager. They don't do a good job cleaning the interior when you're paying $50 for a wash and interior. He suggested I pay $300 for an interior cleaning as a solution. Paying $50 for a car wash and interior cleaning is more than reasonable and the expectation that they actually wipe down the interior panels is common sense. read more

Decided to give this place a try and I'm a bit meh. $46 for a car wash is steep plus I tipped. Car was still a bit dirty and my glass windows still had a weird film on them. Mats were still dirty. Free coffee for patrons and lots of seating areas. It wasn't busy but it took almost 50 minutes for my service. I know it's a good thing not rushing but don't come if you're on your lunch hour. Pleasanton hand car wash did a great job on my car recently. I had parked under a tree in downtown Pleasanton overnight and, the next morning, I found my car covered in tree sap!! Please see the pictures of before and after. It was so bad that I thought I was going to need a new paint job. I drove straight to the car wash and discussed situation with the owner of the car wash. He said it was very important to get the sap removed immediately to avoid any damage. He got my car right in to get it washed and did some extra treatments to get all the sap off. I brought my brand new truck here for a wash. I left with these massive scratches in the windshield. I don't know how it's even possible to scratch a windshield that badly with a rag, unless the guy cleaning it was wearing a watch or ring or something? Who knows. In any case, I'm now going to be spending hundreds of dollars to replace the windshield because the scratches are right where I need to look out to see the road. Took my Jeep Wrangler in for a hand wax. The prices on their sheet list mid size suv $99, full size for $109, wash included. First employee quoted $99, then walked away. Another employee then came over and told me it was $140. Even though I pointed to their listed prices for the service that I wanted, he would not perform the service at the price in their sheet. Not sure if it's a scam where he overcharges people or that he just felt like charging me more for some reason but I didn't feel comfortable with them taking care of my vehicle and I drove away, I won't be going back. First time customer here and brought my SUV. I came at 9am right when they opened in case there was a rush. It actually wasn't bad since there were only 5 cars from when I got in to when I left. I asked for the Ultimate Hand Wash which includes the hand wash, triple foam polish, ceramic protection, sealant, tire dressing, vacuum, dash/console wipe, window cleaning, exterior rubber dressing and rims hand cleaned for $45.99. The price wasn't bad. When I asked the service person what the difference was between the deluxe and the ultimate, he just said that the ultimate was better and already wrote down ultimate before I agreed to anything. Although, I already knew what I wanted, I didn't appreciate that he'd already assume without confirming since they had other services available. The car went through the cleaning/wash process like other car wash places I've gone to. I believe what sets this place apart from the rest is that they have air hoses during the wipe down/drying process. They air out all the water in the cracks so that they don't bead off when you drive. The whole wash took 40 mins which is longer than I would wait at other places at their busiest times. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were just paying attention to the detail and making sure that the quality of the wash was immaculate. I'll give them credit that my car was shiny and looked good as new. The interior could've been vacuumed and wiped down a little better. The interior of the windshield was smeared so I had to wipe it down when I got home. A few days later, I brought my Tesla and asked for the Ultimate Hand Wash. I also requested that they don't add any dressing to the exterior rubber. The service person acknowledged and gave me the ticket. I went to pay and noticed that the price was $49.99 which was more than what I paid for my other car. I didn't mind it at all since I was in a hurry so I went to the side window to watch my car get washed. To my surprise, my car didn't go through the tunnel where cars would get the foam, sealant, and the air blower. They drove my car around straight to the wipe down/drying area. I asked the cashier what was going on and he told me that all EV cars don't go through the tunnel because of the computer. It senses obstruction and the car would stop. I get that it's a potential liability, but prior communication would have been appreciated. Instead, they wash the car and dry it off. I asked why it costs more when you're getting less and he didn't have an answer. I would have appreciated it if I was told in the beginning that I couldn't get the ultimate because it's an EV and that the services are different, but the cost is more. They even put dressing on the exterior rubber when I requested not to. Once my car was done, I went to work and inspected my car. There were micro scratches all over the right side of my car and even on the tail lights. I usually wash that car myself by hand and I've never had micro scratches before. I'm more meticulous with it since it's all black. I called Pleasanton Car Wash to give feedback on what happened and I was told that they've never had any issues with scratches before and that this was the first. I wasn't expecting anything since the damage was already done but I wanted to know how these scratches appeared. Usually car wash places mix the mitts and or water when washing the rims and the body of the car which causes the scratches due to debris contamination. He stated that he would check to make sure that the water wasn't contaminated and they weren't mixing the mitts. He let me know that the manager wasn't in and that he didn't know when the manager would be there. I would think that managers have a set schedule and staff would know when their leader will be in. Or at least someone that can handle escalations. Unfortunately, this place was lacking that. The person on the phone, which I believe was the cashier, did his best to answer my questions which I appreciated. I asked if his manager could call me and I gave my number. I never received a call back. I just wanted to make sure that they let other EV customers know of what services were/weren't available to them and what the cost would be. I also just wanted to know how my car got scratched up. I'm not sure if they vacuumed the interior since my floor mats were still dirty. The interior windshield was also smeared which was a bit frustrating since it happened with my other car. I would not come back and I would not recommend my family and friends here. There are other car wash places that provide excellent customer service, better quality, and better prices. But don't take my word for it. You may have a different experience and wash result for your visit. I'm giving a 1 star because my SUV looked nice after the wash. Other than that, I was pretty disappointed. read more

My husband and I were extremely disappointed with this car wash. I own a Black 2024 Porsche Macan it has always been hand washed. When we got home we noticed swirls all over the car. It looked like someone had either taken a dirty cloth to wash the car, or didn't get the dirt off when drying. My husband called and spoke to the owner. He denied that anyone in his shop would do such a thing. He did offer to rewash the car, we of course declined. We will NEVER go back. read more
