I wish I would have read the reviews before I went here. I have taken the same garments there for a period of 4 months. The price increased each time which made no sense. The last amount I paid was $160.00 which is very high. I noticed my clothing smelled as if it was burned. I also felt like they were not very clean. You can not negotiate with them. Please do not go here, it's a waste of money and a waste of time. You'll end up having to take your things elsewhere. read more

I went down to A and A to have some clothes cleaned and pressed for a gig on the 30th of December. Mind you, I had a gig on New Years Eve, with that in mind I expressed to the cashier (who was a lovely person) that I needed them "for a gig on New Year's Eve." She asked if I could pick them up by 1600 or 4pm on the 31st, it would have been perfect timing. My receipt said "for pickup after 4pm." On New Year's Eve, I jet down to the store at ten after 4pm for good measure...guess who closed at 4 in celebration of New Year's Eve? Wow. Thanks a lot. Now I have to look like a sloppy bag of ... for my gig that is supposed to a semi/formal event. When I went in a few days after, I expressed to the owner my discontent with the service despite the excellent laundering of my clothes. His remark was "well we had it posted," exclaimed in an unnecessarily loud voice. Yes sir, you had it posted on a white 8-1/2 by 11 paper in size 12 font on the inside of your tinted front door, that I definitely did not see until after the fact, but when your cashier AND receipts both say pick up after 4, I'll be there just after 4 in the date promised. He absolutely refused to give a discount for a service I would have graciously paid for had I been able to retrieve my clothing when promised, even after he asked me about being a veteran and telling me about his son being a veteran also. You think he'd offer a veterans discount like every other business in Redding. What a terrible business man. In conclusion I paid a hugely exorbitant amount of money ($50 for 2 shirts, 2 vests and a pair of slacks) for a service that couldn't even keep a promised schedule. Do not go to this business, especially to my fellow veterans. I've got some Korean women in LA that launder my clothes just as good for less than $3 an item, know my name, give me hugs, give me a veterans discount and also give me donuts from the sisters donut shop next door. Amazing service, I have been using Prestige for years now, and recently I forgot to pick up my dry cleaning on a Friday and I had a trip planned for Saturday, in which I needed my pants. So I emailed them asking if there was any chance I could pick up my dry cleaning before 8am on a Saturday. The owner PERSONALLY called me and offered me to meet at the store at 8am!! I even tried to tip extra in which he declined. I recommend this dry cleaner to anyone looking for dependable, on time cleaning and outstanding service! read more

Do NOT do business with this cleaner or any of the other cleaners Greg owns! This is my first Yelp review-- I literally just signed up because I felt so compelled to let people know about my awful experience with the owner, Greg. Last night, my mom took my dress in to get a price on how much they would charge to steam press my dress. The lady quoted my mom $100. Well, I was hoping to only pay $60 so I told my mom not to leave the dress and that I'd like to think about it. The lady said if we changed our mind, we would need to bring the dress in at 7:30 am the next day in order to have it done on time. I decided to drop it off and skip the hustle of doing it myself so I wake up and get to A&A a few minutes after 7:30 am. The owner, Greg comes up to the front and inspects the dress. I tell him that his lady employee told me they could do it for $100...so he spends a few more seconds looking at the dress and says he will do it for $125. I tell him again that we were told $100. Greg then tells me that he does the quotes, not her. Well, no Greg, your employee clearly gave me a price, otherwise known as a quote. Greg didn't like the fact that I was challenging him so he quickly put my dress back in my bag and told me to go somewhere else. His lack of effort to remedy the issue or even explain to me why his price is more than what was quoted to me 12 hours earlier, left a really bad taste in my mouth. This is why I'm taking to Yelp....go do business with someone who deserves business, not this foolish man Greg. Apparently he owns other cleaners in town too? Trust me, before doing business with any other cleaners here in Redding, I WILL ask if Greg owns it. If he does, I'll be marching out of that business and I'm not afraid to tell his employee(s) that I refuse to do business with them because of the way Greg treated me. Greg's last words to me: "Good luck finding someone." No, Greg, good luck staying in business because word gets around when you are an awful business owner in Redding. read more

I brought my military dress uniform here to get pressed and they initially refused it because there was too much dog hair on it. I went and lint rolled it and brought it back and was still WAY overcharged and unhappy with their service. They were rude and had lousy customer service. I don't recommend this business in the slightest. read more

This was the worst dry cleaning I have ever seen. Our clothes came back wrinkled and out of shape! I would give a 0 star for customer service. Obviously, Greg, the owner, does not need the community's business as witnessed with my experience. On Sunday I dropped off a full comforter to be cleaned, which by the way did not get the advertised Sunday's discount. No quote was given at the check in; however, I forgot to ask (my responsibility in this situation.) When I was contacted with the price, I was shocked and stated that if I knew how expensive this would be, I would not have gone through with the cleaning. I contacted the lady who served me, and she admitted that she usually gives the quotes but on this Sunday forgot. So, I said, assuming some responsibility, let's compromise on the price, and you will still have a future customer. When Greg returned my call, he did not say the company's name or his name, which is professional; he just waited for me to talk. His tone was aggressive and annoyed, as he responded, "YOU didn't ask; YOU didn't see the price sheet," which the customer can see as he LEAVES the store. He would accept no responsibility or offer of compromise. He ended with the comment that I can pay and pick up or not. I responded that he should donate the comforter to the Rescue Mission and will take my business to a company that values the customer, especially a repeated customer. read more
