Then they charged me for two hours labor and parts $459.... could have got same work done at Pep Boys for $350. They don't have a window so you can see what the mechanics are doing. They just go in and out of the door, like they really care. A few months ago I took a car that i wanted to drive to Penna to keep it there. I wanted it checked over so it was safe to drive. . I got there but the car left me sit in a snowstorm in the middle of the road...a sensor was bad. They never caught it. My PA mechanic found wires that were not soldered and were starting to burn from exposed metal. Could have caused a fire. I took the wires to them after he spliced it and showed them where they were burned.. they just said "oops sorry". One of the hoses was completely rotted and should have been caught. I called around the Ocala area looking for someone to look at the car, do a diagnostic test to see what was wrong. The tow truck got to the garage and unloaded the car. They (Lopez Auto) Called me within 30 minutes of the car being dropped off with the diagnosis. A Dead Battery. This was an honest, upfront diagnosis and the battery was replaced the next morning at a very reasonable price. GREAT JOB!!!!!

It started without a problem for a week or so, then today the same problem occured. I called the folks at Pineywoods hoping to get some insight into the problem. They advised me to try to get it started, and bring it in. I did manage to get it started, they worked it into their schedule right away, determined that the truck (which I bought used) still had it's original battery which far exceeded it's life expectancy. So they fixed me up with a new battery, and poof... problem solved. I'll be taking my '96 vette there next, as it needs a bit of work.

They were given a job to repair the AC control unit instead it they cracked the dash on my H2 I was told it was a new control unit it was a remanufactured unit and shorted out the amplifier on my Bose stereo system their answer was take the fuse out of the vehicle, so the amplifier would not run the battery down!! so now I have no radio or OnStar workingThey even forgot to tighten down the shifter knob so when I left, I put it in reverse and I was holding the shifter knob in my hand, terrible experience and yet I gave them one more chance to do brakes. once they brought up the orders, they refused to do any work on the vehicle and promptly sent me out the door !!!!! the total for those services was over $3000 and none of it was done correctly I would not trust them with an oil change.
