1st time using them. They were quick is the price was good. They forgot to reattach 2 buttons on the plastic guard and or they might've even popped out after they thought they had pushed them in. I took my VW Atlas in for an oil change as I have used them many times before. First of all they didn't have my wiper blades that fit and I had to go to Reilly for new blades which cost me $36 more dollars . 2 days later I noticed my light coming on for water. I was told that everything would be topped off!!! My husband checked everything and discovered the wiper blade liquid was very low and the water cap was missing!!!!!!!! I was very upset and so was my husband... that I felt being taken the advantage of because I am a woman! So now I have to order the caps that were left off! I am not happy and plan to find another place to have my oil changed! I paid $103.00 and now have to pay for replacement caps! Shame on you TAKE 5!!! read more

I have used Take 5 before and received good service. Stopped by today and was told they could not change the oil in my car because it was too new and they didn't have the information needed. My car is a 2025 and was released by Kia over a year ago. The model has been available to buy since Sept. 2024. I showed them the information in the manual amd they said they still couldn't change the oil. So I left. I called the company to double check the information I was given and I chose the option to speak to a petson. Instead the automated system sent me directly to a survey about how the agent helped me. But I never got to speak to an agent. I called back 3 times and chose different options each time. Each time it went straight back to the survey. Seriously.....do better Take 5. read more

Took a Nissan Maxima 2018 to a shop in Tallassahee Florida, 6541 Thomasville Road for an oil change. Had to take it back for them to add oil. Whatever they did they did it incorrectly and caused the car to leak oil which caused the engine to seize. $11,000.00 later we had to get a new engine. That engine was good for 350,000 miles. Called the shop spoke and sent all information to the manager, Lewis Mclein. He stated that he would make things right and refund me my money. After a month of going back and forth, he told me he wouldn't be able to do anything. I sent certified letters to corp and to their legal department and have not heard back from them. I have emailed and no response. This is how a million dollar company operates? They are HORRIBLE........... We made the mistake of getting our oil changed at Walmart and ended up having it gush out when we were out the next day. We were lucky enough to be walking distance to Take 5. I had a complete oil change on my 2021 Jeep. I now needed a second oil change. I went back to Take 5 but they were to busy and I didn't have time to wait so I decided to do it myself. I bought the oil and filter and proceeded. Once I was under the car, I could see next to the oil plug the pan was cracked but not leaking. I tried to take the oil pan plug off with a regular wrench, but it was on so tight it wouldn't budge! I had to use a long extension, ratchet and had to use both hands to remove it! It being screwed on so tight is what caused the cracked pan. It's only supposed to be snugged 18-foot pounds max. Then when I removed the old oil there was over 7 quarts of oil when there should only have been 6 quarts. I took pictures and filed my complaint with Take 5. On 7/7/23 I received a call from the local Take 5 Oil Change in Inverness Fl. and basically, told me they are not going do an anything about it! read more

My wife and I took her car and my truck here a quite a few times. They were always fast and friendly. The last time I took my truck in a couple days later I found a couple large oil spots on my driveway. I jacked up my truck and found that the oil filter hadn't been properly tightened. The crew at Take 5 were the most professional, kind, empathetic, and honest people we had the immense pleasure of interacting with. We were driving through the state of Florida on our way back to Virginia. We needed to an immediate oil change while on the road, or we would've been stranded. I called Take 5, and they immediately answered all of my questions and got us in with no appointment. They charged $70 for an oil change and got us in and out in under 15 mins. What a great place to get an oil change. John did a great job walking me thru every part of the visit. Found a slight issue with the drain plug (cross threaded) and swapped it out with an OEM replacement. I arrived at 3:40 on Sunday afternoon. There was only 2 other cars there. The guy says the car ahead of you is the last car of the day because I have to clean the shop and be out by 4:00. It claims it's the fastest oil change hence name take 5. I would expect cleaning to be done after hours not turn customers away with 20 minutes before closing. read more

Went here to get my oil change with oil that I bought separately and they were very friendly and professional. One suggestion would be to bring your own oil and filter because they seem to use cheap conventional oil if you don't. I use AMSOIL in all of my families cars. But again they were really nice and friendly and a huge plus they let you sit in your car the entire time and you can watch them change the oil and filter. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Best group of guys you'll meet. I was recently only getting my oil changed at dealerships where I found that any chance they got , they would try to make me buy unnecessary products and services. I started coming here a few months ago and the service was incredible. My oil change light had went on too early , and instead of making a profit off me and just changing it early , they told me when to come back and how to check the oil myself in case that happened again . I felt as they didn't put enough oil and poor communication service but Take 5 was different. First off I was immediately greeted by one of the mechanics and was so professional and polite. Since it was our first time, he thoroughly explained the process. Once I parked my car inside the garage my wife and I were so impressed. First off everyone communicates out loud to each other. Worked so well side by side like a well oiled machine (no pun intended) We received a bottle of water and every one made us feel comfortable. I come in here every 5,000 miles almost religiously so these guys can do my oil change. Every time I'm there I always see John and Jeremy and both are fantastic. They never try to sell me on anything I don't need (air filters ect.) and if I need something they explain why it's need.
