Everything was going well until the warmer season this year and little critters began to make an appearance inside my home. Not an issue, I had Emco. Per my contract, they spray every couple months, and if I have an issue, they'd come out and handle it in between my scheduled services. WRONG. Apparently, they're not an actual fan of sticking to their agreements. I tried to call the main office to schedule an in between appointment, and the receptionist said I would have to WAIT until my scheduled appointment and mention it to the technician. Only problem: my technician was operating in stealth mode and was like a fart in the wind. He would call once before coming from an "unknown" number (NOT AN EMCO number- incredibly unprofessional) and leave a voicemail and say he was coming the next day to spray. Heaven forbid you miss the call! You have no idea when they're coming and the next thing you know, you get a note on the door saying they've been there and charge you $60 without any actual evidence of service. So, back to the receptionist call, since they opted not to come for an inbetween service, I asked that she please tell the technician to text me before he comes so I can make sure I can catch and communicate that I want the interior of my home sprayed as well. He did text and I scheduled a time for him to come out, however I had to POSTPONE my initial scheduled appointment due to work restraints- I work from home. I told the technician I would text to schedule in the next week when I had the availability but that I WOULD LET HIM KNOW when I THE CUSTOMER could do it. Apparently, EMCO thinks they're the boss. So, when my technician decided he had waited long enough, he went back to the fart in the wind service approach and came unannounced and unwelcomed. I am paying for this service and it's MY home- the lack of respect to the customer wishes was astounding. Clearly, EMCO wasn't interested in customer wishes and let's be honest, pest control companies are plentiful. I was tired of the lack of professionalism and customer service. I sent a text to the technician terminating their services for the bug treatment AND the exterior termite treatment. I also called the main office and left a voicemail and received a personal call from the office manager and communicated verbally in real time as well. I thought all was well. Until a week or so later when I find an EMCO technician walking the perimeter of my home. Does this Company not know what being fired looks like? Furthermore, do they just have zero respect for people's boundaries and PROPERTY? They did not have authorization to set foot on my PRIVATE property. I immediately call the office manager that I spoke with and reiterated my disapproval. I also communicated that I was NOT going to pay for services they were not authorized to complete. So, tell me why EMCO is still sending me bills??! Just avoid the headache- go somewhere else. They're incredibly unprofessional and unorganized.
