Very good but 45 minute wait for a small cheese pizza. Great atmosphere, excellent pizza but the wait was tough.

Sometimes you just want a good old fashioned pizza made from scratch with frames quality ingredients. If it's that time for you, A&B is your place. I'm going to go out on a limb, and say that for my money this is the best "traditional" pizza in town. First I have to say that if you're in the mood for dining in, the north location is much bigger than I imagined from the outside (kinda like a TARDIS), and has plenty of seating. There are lots of ingredient choices, and the pies are cut with my preferred square cut. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was the "bread sticks" which were not bread sticks, but just a thick chewy pizza without toppings. read more

Excellent for many reasons. No where in town can one get a cheeseburger, fries, and a beer for $10 except at North A and B! Food is superb, the help are very friendly, and easy parking. This is a must for lunch Mon -Sat. read more

Superb toppings, questionable crust, friendly service. Stopped in for dinner the other night and ordered medium house special. This is a Fast Casual place where you order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. My beer (draft Fat Tire) came out very quickly and my pizza a reasonable time later. The toppings on the pie were excellent: flavorful sausage, good mushrooms, crispy green pepper and lots of cheese. The crust was unusual: crunchy and quite thick. If you like that kind of crust then this place is for you. I like more of a crackly chewy Neapolitan crust, but hey it comes down to personal preference. I managed to eat the whole thing anyway, as I was starving after a week paddling a canoe. The server stopped by several times and tried to chat a bit, but I rudely had my AirPods and couldn't hear her well. She seemed very nice. Bottom line: you will love or hate this place depending on how you like their pizza crust. read more

We're done with this hack of a restaurant! This is the second time they played the we were slammed card, yet the parking lot was empty. After we called our order in we were told it would be ready in one hour. We arrived to pick up our pizzas and we're told it would be another 30 or 45 minutes. We came back 30 minutes later and picked up the food. We live 5 minutes from them. The pizzas looked like they had been sitting for about 30 minutes. It was lukewarm at best. read more

The first time we've ever had A&B was last night. We don't often get to Bismarck, but this place makes me want to travel here more often. We ordered their sausage pizza and their Chicken Supreme. Both were very good, in regards to toppings and crust. The sausage was very good and I'm very picky when it comes to italian sausage. Sometimes places make it too spicy or too heavy on whole fennel seeds. Not A&B! Their sausage is flavorful without being overpowering. The Chicken Supreme was delicious with its chicken, veggies, and bacon bits. We also ordered a fleischkuechle. I've never had one before, but it was very good, and I'll be attempting to make them at home one day. Overall, this pizza place has everything you need and more. We unexpectedly had to stay overnight in Bismarck due to a grass fire further west. We ordered delivery to our hotel and it took the quoted hour. Pizza was thin and crispy with plentiful toppings. We also ordered breadsticks which were good but a bit salty. BBQ boneless winged were excellent. Food was a bit cold but still delicious - somewhat expected with delivery. We were impressed that the pizza place added paper plates, napkins, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes to our delivery. Would definitely order again! read more

Working near Bismarck, live in Florida, big time traveler, this pizza was worth the drive! Conveniently located to Quality Inn hotel, I got lucky. The people of Bismarck knew about this tasty pizza, for the restaurant and the (to go ) business was kicking the night I visited. Tasty ingredients, thin and crusty crust, flavorful sauce, and yummy cheese. If I didn't live in Florida, I would be a regular for sure. Five Stars read more

Food was good! We had buffalo chicken pizza, fries, and taco salad. My friend who got the taco salad loveeesssss it! The pizza was good :) super spicy! However the pizza took 40-50 min to come out, and the forgot half of our order. Drinks were not refilled unless reminded several times, and it was dirty inside. Loved the carousel and kids rides thou! It was a good experience for the moment, but not somewhere I'd make a point to come again. read more

I was traveling through Bismarck on business and searched Yelp for pizza places and thought I'd give A&B Pizza a try. I figured I would go the "quick route" and ran to the restaurant to order/pick up a pizza, but was very disappointed on a 45 minute wait. I will say, however, it was worth the wait. I order the deluxe pizza and it was delicious. I travel regularly for business and order a lot of pizzas. I don't know if this is the best I've had, but it is definitely in the running. It is an amazing thin crust pizza (not New York style)...I will definitely be eating there on my next visit to Bismarck. read more

Love A&B every time I visit Bismarck. It was my first pizza ever and still my choice today. I'm stuck on there Sausage pizza and Taco pizza but have been known to order an occasional pepperoni. I've always liked how they cut into squares. In the pizza world of production and profits, I love going to the independents especially those like A&B that have been remarkably consistent. I ordered two large pizzas, 2 grilled chicken salads and a beefy nachos at 6:05 pm on December 23rd, 2019. Almost 2 hours later still not delivered. Called and said we would pick it up. My daughter and granddaughter went to get. Although they said they were VERY VERY busy there was only a couple of people in the restaurant. The employees were standing around blabbing doing nothing. To top it off the person at the till was insolent and the pizzas were still not ready. They overcharged for the Pizza of the day and still had a delivery charge added to the bill. Did not want to give a refund for that and really should have at least offered a discount. The salads were tasteless and poorly made. The beefy nachos were rubbery and tasteless. I will say the two pizzas were good. However the attitude shown by the employees will make me VERY HESITANT to order or eat their again. read more

Pretty good pizza. About average for the area but ingredients seem better than usual.

This place is horrible. My taco salad was dropped on the way here and the driver was rude. It might be better if that didn't happen. The crust tastes like it was made in an easy bake oven. This pizza must come straight from the freezer pre packed. Horrible experience. read more

Best pizza ever and I've eaten a lot of pizza from a lot of different places. I also enjoy ordering from a place who cares enough not to get my order wrong and to provide hot, fresh food not sloppily made. In at least a hundred orders I have only had 1 minor issue. Not enough lettuce on our taco pizza, which was probably me not them as I tend to like it loaded with lettuce. This is the only place we order pizza from! The rest of the menu is good too. Tried A&B Pizza because we were staying at the La Quinta just across the road, and because their marketing mentioned they were named "Best Pizza in North Dakota" by Food Network. We went to the restaurant for dine-in, and the location leaves a lot to be desired. Unappealing appearance from the outside, and wonky dining room on the inside. However, the pizza is EXCELLENT. I don't know if I'd say it's the best in ND, but it was very good, especially the crust. Crispy but still substantial. Dine-in, you order at the counter and they bring your pizza out to you, but they were pretty attentive with refilling our drinks too. Seems like the delivery service might not be as good, but dine-in, were were quite pleased. Will do A&B again. read more

If you like thin crust pizza, this is the place to eat at. Very tasty. I went when it was not very busy, and had very good service.

This is one of the few pizza joints not afraid to put some herbs and spices in its pizza sauce. It is wonderful. The other ingredients are fresh and plentiful. This is the best pizza in the area in my book. read more

In town for just the night and had this for supper. Ordered a pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese. It was damn good. Thin crust, not too much sauce, and a lot of cheese. I didn't think the price was too bad for everything I was getting either. This was my first time to ever stay in Bismarck, so obviously I've never had any other pizza from this town, but I would think this place is hard to beat. read more

Great little family owned pizza place. A must have every time we are in Bismarck. Unique flavor to the sauce. Thin crust but not too soggy and not too crunchy. Italian sausage must be a special blend because I've never tasted it anywhere else but loved it. It might be a little longer wait than the fast food pizza everyone is used to but it's worth the wait to have the unique taste. If you want it faster, eat the generic pizza flavor at Dominoes or Pizza Hut. read more
