He didn't fix it properly, and it kept running that resulted in depleting our water supply. He was called again, and he denied that he made any mistake. He blamed our water pump; saying that it needed to be replaced. He was not professional and asked the men in our house hold to help him lift the pump up out of the ground. He insulted one of the men by saying that he needed to put on 'His Big Boy pants.' Fortunately, this task was abandoned as all three men were not able to lift the pump out from being lodged 60 feet under the ground. This is a dangerous task that could have damaged our pump, and the men who generously agreed to help Zain early on a Sunday morning. Tight and Drilling was called and they told us the problem was never the pump. The problem was that he didn't fix our toilet to begin with. More recently (1/28/26); Zain was called again in a pinch when all of our water sources stopped working. He told us our pipes were frozen and broken and needed to be replaced. He charged $350 for four different visits. He fixed everything except our Kitchen sink. Only hot water came out, and then we found out it was leaking in the basement. We had another contractor arrive, and he told us our pipes were never frozen. In fact they were clogged, and fortunately he was able to rectify the matter. We thought to give Zain a second chance; that is why we called him a second time. Do not make the same mistake we did.

The pump finally gave out from months and months of short cycling (pressure tank broke and we didn't replace it). I called and left 2 messages with AAA American Pump. Jim called me back within a couple of hours. They were completely booked for the next 2 weeks... but since it was an emergency Jim was able to come at 7:30am the next day and replaced the well pump and pressure tank. We had running water by 10am on Monday. They were quick, professional, and followed all Covid protocols. I was amazed to see Sara pulling up 200ft of hose and wires to get to the pump. Pretty impressive back and biceps workout! Price was high-ish but fair, no complaints here especially on how fast they were able to get us all fixed. Less than 24 hrs from original call. Charges by the hour, so estimates mean absolutely nothing because he'll drag out what would normally be a 2 week job, for up to 6 months. Uses any tools/equipment/ you may have, often without asking, and NEVER puts them back, no matter what out-building they came from or how heavy they are. whines if not paid weekly. Uses your floor as a work bench because he can't be bothered to use a drop cloth. His feet rarely touch a door mat, evident by the boot tracks everywhere, and by everywhere I mean places he has no reason to be. And last but certainly not least, he will leave a huge refuse pile of un-recycleable garbage stuffed into recyclables. His waste pile, from doing one room, was considerably larger than that left by the contractor who built my house. It took 4 hours of sorting out the recyclables and $380.00 to have it taken to a refuse/recycling station. Do yourself a favor. Avoid.
