Pool suction pipes were leaking over time figured I'd wait until it was dripping, started dripping last week, came on yelp as I'm pretty biased towards choosing companies with good reviews and fast reply's, it was a Sunday, day most people don't work. Got a few quotes and went with Edward because the price was reasonable and had good reviews and multiple reviews, scheduled something with him the next day. He came out let me know ahead of time did his thing and even installed higher quality quick disconnect fittings.. was done in a Timely manner and clean job all around. Let it dry and pool was functioning better then ever.. no more air bubbles in the return side. Next morning a just a bit of an issue, he came out instantly and took care of it as he guaranteed his work.. repaired it and all good now. I like stand up people and people who back there work as i do. 6 stars if i could. Even answered a few of my questions about that pool system and he didn't even have to. 110% if your looking for someone that respects your products and stands by his work. I have used A&E pool care for about 2 years, Edward's customer service and communication is horrible! Whenever I had an issue with the pool I would reach out to Edward and instead of an explanation he would be very short and just respond "ok" or not respond at all! I had some issues with the pool filter several times where after awhile the pressure would decrease and the waterfall would not flow into the pool and the pool would not filter correctly. I would ask him to look at it or let me know if there was something wrong and how we could fix the issue. He would service the pool and never do anything about the issue. This issues started causing the pool to turn cloudy and his response was the pool is being over used, when in fact we hadn't used the pool in 2 weeks. He would charge me one time fees here and there of $60 $80 or $50 due to extra chemicals needed. Then he increased our monthly service charge twice in a 3 month period, which I never complained about I just wanted the pool maintained properly. Just seemed like he wanted more and more money to do the job he was hired to do! At some point I decided to do some research on my own to fix the issue I found out backwashing the filter would fix the issue so I did that and the filter started working properly, Edward said I needed to add DE when I back wash it and he would add it but was very rude and said he had to charge me $80 I told him I could add it myself and not to worry about it. He then said I was contaminating the pool and he would no longer service my pool, all because I didn't pay him $80 to add DE that cost only $5!? Edward it seems you are the one who is upset! Your response to my review obviously struck a nerve! You never did anything complimentary, and I have always paid to service the filter, you are the one who said it was included in the service then tried to charge me for it! i never complained about the extra charges! And trust me I can afford my pool and to pay an unprofessional person like you to maintain it! Look at the way you respond to your customers you are a joke! I highly recommend A and E pool care. I wish I would of taken a picture of the in ground jacuzzi before the owner of A and E pool care came by to clean it. It went from completely disgusting to looking good as new. I was in shock at how well it looked and how fast he had finished the work. Talking about fast, he began working on the initial clean up the same day I had called for an estimate and it only took him couple of days to finish. As for his pricing, I think he is very fair. In fact, he saved us money. I spoke to about two other pool cleaning services in the Antelope Valley and they all wanted to charge me more than A and E pool care for both the initial clean up and the monthly pool service. I also really appreciated when he saved us money when he fixed our broken pump. We were going to replace it for a new one but he told me it still had life in it and that he could fix it. Sure enough he fixed it for way less than what it would of cost to replace the whole pump. In summary if you would like your service to be done well, in a timely manner, and to be fairly priced, I would recommend you call A and E pool care. read more

As the summer became a reality my pool was "green" and I wanted it 'clean". I drain my pool and my wife and I were going to scrub the pool ourselves but quickly realized that it was too much for us. Thus, as many of us do, I turned to Yelp to search for a pool service company. In reading the reviews of several services, on a weekend, I selected A & E Pool Care who immediately responded. An appointment was made with Edward (owner) and a very fair price was given for acid wash of my pool and replacing the pool light. I also had a major issue with the cement around a portion of my pool deck lifting up. I feared it was either a soil issue or a tree root issue. I ask Edward did he know anyone in the business that could make this type of repair. He quickly said that this was something that he could do. Having been very pleased with the acid wash service, I decided to give him the job. That was the best decision that I had made. Edward and his crew immediately begun work breaking up the deck and digging down to what was causing the deck to lift up......a tree root approximately 6" in diameter. Edward and his crew did an amazing job removing the tree root, preparing the deck as well as pouring the concrete. During this entire project Edward was a true professional and kept my wife and I informed every step of the way and made recommendations that were most cost effective to prevent future issues. The work he and his crew performed was just "AMAZING". Edward "bent over backwards" to ensure that we were satisfied and that the job was done right AND at the quoted price. If you're thinking about having any work done around your pool A & E Pool Care is the pool service to call. I don't believe you will find anyone that will work harder for you and have your best interest at heart when doing the work. In the future, I will not consider anyone else to do any work on or around my pool.
