I have used A&E pool care for about 2 years, Edward's customer service and communication is…read morehorrible! Whenever I had an issue with the pool I would reach out to Edward and instead of an explanation he would be very short and just respond "ok" or not respond at all! I had some issues with the pool filter several times where after awhile the pressure would decrease and the waterfall would not flow into the pool and the pool would not filter correctly. I would ask him to look at it or let me know if there was something wrong and how we could fix the issue. He would service the pool and never do anything about the issue. This issues started causing the pool to turn cloudy and his response was the pool is being over used, when in fact we hadn't used the pool in 2 weeks. He would charge me one time fees here and there of $60 $80 or $50 due to extra chemicals needed. Then he increased our monthly service charge twice in a 3 month period, which I never complained about I just wanted the pool maintained properly. Just seemed like he wanted more and more money to do the job he was hired to do! At some point I decided to do some research on my own to fix the issue I found out backwashing the filter would fix the issue so I did that and the filter started working properly, Edward said I needed to add DE when I back wash it and he would add it but was very rude and said he had to charge me $80 I told him I could add it myself and not to worry about it. He then said I was contaminating the pool and he would no longer service my pool, all because I didn't pay him $80 to add DE that cost only $5!? Edward it seems you are the one who is upset! Your response to my review obviously struck a nerve! You never did anything complimentary, and I have always paid to service the filter, you are the one who said it was included in the service then tried to charge me for it! i never complained about the extra charges! And trust me I can afford my pool and to pay an unprofessional person like you to maintain it! Look at the way you respond to your customers you are a joke! I hope you can learn to value your clients and learn how to be a professional before your business goes to shit, just like you PENDEJO!

I don't doubt that as they never finished my project and it's been over a year. I cannot insure my home or pool because they failed to get a final permit. I cannot rent or sell my home because of this mess they left behind. They trashed my backyard and left me with a pool I didn't ask for that's literally crumbling and not functional. I have exposed wiring less than a ft from my pool that they didn't bother to label. It in excusable. Shilo isn't a business person and works off anger or hides when he believes an owner is upset. Try to schedule a meeting with Augie or Shilo and Bernadette will tell you they're busy on a job and will get there when they can as if no one has jobs and can sit at home for days waiting. If you think you'll call them directly, don't bother. They don't give out cell phone numbers for this exact reason. I had to tell them WHEN to call for an inspection because they kept delaying finish work they SHOULDN'T legally have been moving forward on without the inspection. I have no doubt Augie was good at his job at one point but he ran that business. Since his stroke Shilo is unable to keep it afloat. I truly hope that they aren't doing pools anymore. They drained every penny I had for something that was supposed to help me get some relief from an injury. I can't imagine what the other families have gone through.
