I came in here with my husband yesterday and there were two employees working, along with a couple customers. Every single person in the store stopped to stare at us when we went in. The judgement factor was off the charts here. It was extremely clear that they all thought we didn't belong there, and treated us accordingly. We wanted to use the range and rent the necessary equipment to try it out. I've never shot a bow, and so I wanted to learn and see if it was something I wanted to invest in. My husband hadn't shot a bow since he was in Boy Scouts. Awesome opportunity here. We dealt with Trent. I don't know the name of the other employee. But he got things going for us. We had to drag help out of him, it seemed. There was no customer service, asking if we needed help while exploring the store. We finally had to go up to the counter and ask for help. As he was setting up the range, again not terribly talkative. He seemed almost sulky, like a teenager being forced to do chores. I finally had to kind of force a conversation out of him, and it worked. At least he became moderately personable as he was setting everything up. After we practiced and used the range, I had a million questions. I still do because nobody seemed excited to talk to me about it. When we were done we went to pay our fee for using the range, Trent had the perfect opportunity to ask how it went, if we had any questions, or anything else. Nope, just took our money and said have a great day. That's it. The lack of customer service didn't make me feel welcome to ask questions, or that they would be taken seriously if I did. When there's an opportunity to teach, there's an opportunity for not only customer service, but to make a sale too. They failed miserably in this category. It's a nice store with a range, and lots of product. They also sell Black Rifle Coffee. I'm not coming in to buy it here, I'll buy it at 295 Tactical, but it's good to know they carry it now. There's a lot going for the store in terms of the range and product selection. Customer service, not so much. Would I return? To use the range, yes. To buy my bow, no. I'll go find somewhere where there is customer service to teach me and help me find exactly what I need. The Bow Rack is not that place, unfortunately.

I just had my Spot Hogg release fail and due to their unconditional lifetime guarantee, it was easy to handle. I called, a person answered, told them what was going on, I got a work order number to put in the package and it's sent to them. They return it ( whatever sight, release, or rest) to factory specs then fix any problems, even call you to make sure of the issue you had. Then pay to ship it back to you. Turn around on a Amazon bought WiseGuy release was about 10 days, in deer season! Amazing products, people and service.

Bowtech stood behind their product even though it was years down the road and they sent out a replacement for free when I contacted them and explained the issue. I'm now back out shooting a 2024 Amplify which is an entry-level bow but it's very adjustable and it's an extremely solid shooter. They definitely bent over backwards and during the replacement process is very straightforward and clear communication which is something really appreciated. What happened here sir

The Bow n Arrow shop in San Diego upsold me strings saying Bowtech put the wrong size strings on their bows. I said put the damn strings on and don't ever sell me anything again. The bow was still defective after the fancy strings were clearly not the remedy.. as this is the worst stare the bow is in of the whole 1 year aggravation. It's a lemon, they all refused to take responsibility or refund it as I demanded throughout the terrible experience, they blamed and insulted me for it, hid behind faceless screen names and verbal floundering.. and now the piece of junk is a dusty reminder of archery business. A few ruin it for the bunch. I'll never risk more than $400 for a bow now. I happily still shoot my $205 G1 Bear Cruzer. I shoot a 95% Vegas accuracy.. and climbing. This bow has been trusted and reliable for 5 years now. Not one wear n tear issue, and it's about 100,000 shots in. Same limbs and cams, and it is going to the big 2025 Vegas Championship open. 7oz bow weight.. no stabilizer.. top pin.. no mag.. blurry eyesight.. all fun. My own trusted bow work. Camping supplies including tents, ice chests, and all the gear you need to go along with it. Checked out their handgun section and even though they don't have as much of a selection as say a Cabela's what they do have are popular brands and calibers. Staff that is knowledgeable and more than willing to give you advice and information about the handguns they do have. If they aren't sure of an answer they find out while you are looking. These guys were hands down some of the best I have ever worked with at outdoor/gun shop. They truly care about the customer experience and the way the work with the customers encourages their return. No pressure shopping at it's best! They don't try and push you into making a decision and they make sure to let everyone know they are willing to work with you on price if they are able to.
