I was already working with Scott at Michigan Sandblasting and planned to have my Jeep's underbody sandblasted there. Rashid told me they could apply POR-15 afterward, so based on that I paid to have the Jeep towed down there. After it arrived, everything changed. Rashid started questioning the project and for over a week I was given the runaround. Multiple times Rashid told me he would "talk to Scott figure out a solution and call me back," but the call back never happened. Every time I followed up I got the same vague response and nothing actually moved forward. Rashid knew all of the details prior to me towing it down there. If this wasn't a job they wanted to take on, that should have been communicated from the beginning instead of telling me to bring the vehicle down and spend money towing it there. It's extremely frustrating to be told something can be done, only to have the shop avoid giving a straight answer after the vehicle is already there. Very disappointing and unprofessional way to handle a customer. I wasted time and money because they couldn't simply be upfront about whether they were willing to do the work.

I had another vehicle repaired there recently and I referred my mom for repairs to her car. We received outstanding customer service from Kelly. She is the best office managers I've ever dealt with. Both body shop managers were outstanding (the first one retired). The repairs were excellent. No corners were cut. No expense was spared. I got no updates until I called and if I called too much the receptionist just hung up or transferred my call to the service desk. I was given miss information on when repairs where being done, and when I told them I knew they were misrepresenting the dates (my insurance company was sending updates on estimates and payment dates) their stories changed on why was car was taking so long. 6,000 dollars and one month later I have my car back and will never in life recommend or use this company again.

I took it to this location for the insurance quote and for the repair, and it was such an easy process. Gerber handled everything from scheduling the service, ordering all of the parts, contacting me throughout the process, and even dropped my rental car off for me when I picked up my vehicle. The person's insurance company sent out someone to assess the damage and make sure the quote for the work that was given to me by Gerber was a fair price. The auditor actually said that he would charge more for the services and ended up requesting additional money from the insurance company for the repairs. So I know that it was a great and fair price even though going through insurance. Everyone is extremely friendly too. They were so easy to work with and made a really crappy situation better. I was not looking forward to getting everything repaired, but they really made it a positive experience. I would recommend them to anyone that needs body work on their car!
