I would give them zero star Went there 3 separate times to get do a notary. There's a big sign in the front door that says Notary here. The first time the girl had us waiting for 10 minutes without even ackn us. When she did we asked if we got get a notary and here response was "I left my stamp at home" so unprofessional. My husband wanted to try again, and the same thing happen. Then the third time we called before we went over there, and they told us they didn't have a stamp there. This was all in a week. So unprofessional. Not friendly, not helpful. Run by teenagers. read more

The worst customer service ever. I understand there was only one employee and she had a customer, but there were 3 of us waiting in line and she never acknowledged we were there. Not "good afternoon, I will be with you in a minute- nothing!!" Went to A&J Pak-Ship to send some documents to attorney in Wisconsin, Stated that they didn't need to get there in a rush. After providing receiving address info, etc. I was told it would cost just over $91 dollars. I thought is was extremely high but I haven't utilized FedEx recently. Person behind counter stated it was the best price that could be offered for the FedEX small box. I reluctantly paid. Got home and looked up pricing on the FedEx website for the FedEx small box and sure enough, they show a rate of just under $21 for the FedEx Express Saver rate going to where I sent the package to. I would avoid this store as they will TOTALLY gouge you and not offer all available rates /methods of shipping. read more

Used them for three years with no problem, but in the last month they have failed to scan packages five times. One package was completely lost because of this and the remaining we picked up to take somewhere else when the confirmation email did not show the packages they said they scanned. They ignore the problem and have no interest in facing the fact that they indeed have a problem. We can no longer trust them with our shipments. Something I ordered came defective. Acting upon explicit instructions I received from the company involved, I found A & J Pak-Ship to be the closest reasonable solution to getting it returned. Using them did mean I needed to pay for packaging but I was happy to do that rather than find the Federal Express location in Ft. Myers. My time is sometimes way more valuable than the $1 and some change I paid for packaging there. Their small space is part of a strip mall. Parking was okay but navigating traffic to get there and to leave was more of a hassle than I typically find in Cape Coral. The employees were professional and efficient. The entire transaction was completed quickly. During the process there really wasn't much of an opportunity to WOW me or make me a fan, so they get a 3 Star, A-Okay rating. read more

Stopped in with a package to ship via FedEx from Cape Coral to Scottsdale AZ. I packed it in the original box that was 48x9x7 inches and weighed 5lbs per their customer service person. They quoted me the lowest price of about $161.00. I had checked it out before hand and FedEx quoted $61.00. I did not ship it at the outrageous price. I went home and got on line with FedEx , using A&J's dimensions and weight, I got a shipping label for just over $61.00. Printed it, fixed to the package and dropped it back off. I asked the same person who waited on me in the AM, why their price was so outrageous. She just shrugged her shoulders and said that she did not know! Please be aware of the potential over pricing that may happen to use this company. read more

I have used them for many years and seem to find reason to go there at least once a week. My experience is that the staff are well informed, always check to see the best way to ship (and advise me of prices, etc) so that they can give me the best deal. They are patient, efficient and focused. Even the people in line (if there is one at all) all seem to be pleasant. The other week I dropped off something to be mailed at another location in Ft. Myers. They charged DOUBLE for the box, $1.00 for one slice of tape to close the box and almost 2/3rds the price! That said, the girl kept saying, "I know, I know, but they MAKE us charge for every thing." So different owners charge differently. Go to this happy location at Camelot Isles in the Publix shopping center and get what I'm getting. Namely, five star treatment. read more

A&J has been under new management since 2014 and has provided excellent service. They always ask how they can help and try to identify the most reasonable way to ship or mail to minimize your cost but maximize your goal. They also provide notary service for $7. Recently, I shipped a return package on my own $s around lunch time. Just after lunch, I got a prepaid label for the return. A&J refunded my shipping charges and took the prepaid label saving me $45. I've lived here for 14 years and the previous owner was a jerk. The new owner, staff, and customer service are great. I strongly suggest you consider them your shipping point in SW CC. read more

I have steered clear of this place...16 years later I'm looking for places/reviews to send my package out of state...I see one bad review and I refuse to go back for another 16! I live the closest to Camelot Isles but I will travel far for good customer service, I have respect for myself. Go there every week to mail papers for a company I work for. They know me on a first name basis and are very helpful. I even left my company credit card there once and called the bank and then my company to find me to return it. Much faster and pleasant and cheaper than using US postal. read more

WORST PLACE EVER!!! Absolutely do not use this place to pack and ship items. They do not pack the items properly and will not honor the insurance you pay for. In June, 2018 I paid them $307.30 to send a glass article that had a value of $1200 as a wedding present for my son. They packed it and shipped it. It is almost 1 year since I shipped from A&J Pak and ship and my suitcase was destroyed. I opened a claim right away with UPS and they said I would hear from them. I never heard a thing. Working the phones two weeks ago I was told that UPS was awaiting the claim form from A&J and then I would be reimbursed. The Supervisor at UPS called A&J and spoke to Haley who I was told would call me. I never heard a things I went there in person.Haley was not there so I left my number and ask to be called. No call. I stopped in again and talked to Haley. She told me that I did not have a claim as it was too late to report it and besides my suitcase was not in a box and therefore it was not reimbursable. She was very rude and told me that I would never get reimbursed by UPS and I was supposed to file a claim with A&J first.I guess I was supposed to know that. I asked to speak to the owner and she said no. I asked to have him call me and she said no. That's it for me and A&J. read more

If there were an option for 0 stars, that is what I would have chosen. I was over charged by $10.00 the first time I went to A&J when shipping a very small package. The second time I went to A&J (to ship a large package) I was told by the woman I couldn't have a receipt for the package I was shipping! (My package was worth over $3,000.00 and if lost or stolen I would have to replace!) She says it is the owners policy to not print receipts on anything because they didn't want spend the money on paper and ink! I am a business owner myself, and ship packages every week. They will never get business from me again! Instead I will take my business to the UPS store on Cape Coral Pkwy where they have EXCEPTIONAL customer service, charge accordingly, AND print receipts!!! read more

I am a regular user of their services and always got a good service until today June 13, 2016 to ask for a tracking number missing on the receipt that my daughter got when she sent me a package that was supposed to be delivered to Troy MI on Saturday June 11, 2016. The person who answered the phone was very rude, telling me that if there is not tracking number there is nothing she can do for me. I begged her to look by receipt number, date and time since the package I was expecting was of great importance and she told me that "there are about 400 receipt that she would have to look and she won't do it" I thought that i was calling the wrong place so I asked her if I was talking to A&J Pak-Ship and she rudely confirmed it saying that she could write down the information and "try to go through 400 receipts but she wont do it today" OMG!!! if this is a new employee or one with a seriously bad attitude, I rather wait for someone who cares instead of talking again with that gross person. Please, owners, do something about it because that person will ruin your business.
