I hired Inman Prowash to powerwash, and paint my deck for $2800. when rotten boards were discovered Mike charged another $400 to replace about 20 feet of the deck. Joey, was doing the painting and repair work and when he was unable to match the color of the deck paint, which was Lowe's paint not Sherwin Williams, he asked if I had any of the original. There was about a half gallon left. He then used the poor quality paint to touch up, not paint the full deck. When the poor quality paint began to crack again 6 months later, Mike sent Joey back. He could not find a record of the paint he put on my deck at Sherwin Williams because he had not purchased it there. My husband and I tried to match it with the Lowe's paint at Home Depot and purchased thick deck paint. Joey painted the worst peeling planks and realized the colors didn't match. I had a stripped deck. When Joey first looked at the deck he said it needed power washing when he thought Mike was charging me, but when Mike told him to touch it up, he just scraped the bird poop off and moved on. I expressed my frustration to Mike who politely and dismissive. I gave up. My 82 year old husband spent an hour early every morning, before it got hot and his energy gave out, painting the deck. I like Mike, but I am so disappointed in how he handled this job. I'm sure the power washing is fine but would not recommend them for repairs.

The main issue I have, and one that is entirely my fault, is the labor cost. I always get three quotes. Always. But, I've been really busy traveling for work lately and I got into a hurry. I didn't do it this time. That's on me. But, I will share with you my experience to hopefully help you make an informed decision. The shower looks great. I don't have a problem with the workmanship on that. But the initial thought of the work that needed to be done was modified while the work was being done, and the remedy was not as involved as initially thought. I probably should have requested a change order at that point but again, I was in Salt Lake City for a week and time got away from me. I thought the modification should have saved a little money. Kris disagreed. Again, they're good people. Maybe it did turn out to cost the exact same as initially thought. Seems strange to me, but maybe. When Kris explained the final cost it just struck me as high. Kris texted that, "We charge $150 an hour" for labor. Again, this is on me for not doing my due diligence. I agreed to the price. I paid it. Kris cashed the check. Business was done. But, reflecting, $150 an hour for labor is high. Really high. Some might say excessive. It is about twice as high as the highest I've ever seen. Just keep that in mind as the hours add up on a project. It's gonna cost you. The issue I had with the workmanship was missed spots on the painting. It was not well done. I think they might have rushed that and to be honest, I'm gonna have to be ok with that because every hour was costing me $150. I can paint. I'll get to that this weekend. Does leave a bad taste in my mouth, however, after paying such a high labor cost and painting is, well, labor after all. I provided the paint. Look, if you have unlimited funds, I think they're a decent option. Not really sure how to rate them but I do think affordability should factor into a rating as well. So I'm going to go midway on this one. Good people, mixed workmanship, with nosebleed high labor costs.

Not only was Steve a pleasure to do business with but all of the work was completed in a timely manner and some ahead of schedule. How refreshing to have someone say the work will be done at this time and actually have that be the case, and all the work was done better than expected.
