They said Turbo installed the wrong size spring and didn't calibrate the drums correctly, causing the door to fail. So now we DO have to replace our door. Go find another company.

No house cleaners on duty that day. The hallways were dirty call my littered with debris that probably hadn't been vacuumed for a week. The door to my room was fitted so badly that you could see light all around the perimeter. At the top of the stairs, the fire alarm was disabled, no cover and no battery. The base of the toilet in my room was leaking water. The white bath mat had black stains on it I had driven quite a ways to arrive there, and hope to take a nap before dinner, but there was a guy leaf blowing right outside for what seemed like at least an hour, So napping was pretty much out of the question. Too bad, he blows all the cigarette butts into the planters instead of cleaning them up... I arrived at the breakfast room more than 30 minutes before the time breakfast was to end, and there were no eggs left, and none were produced. The bread was picked over and not replaced. Guys, it appeared to run the place were standing in the front room chatting amongst themselves, but didn't seem to care about he promised breakfast. There were almost no guests in the place, and I can see why. The price was reasonable and the place is convenient to the Highway 101, but the place needs a thorough cleaning, I question how sanitary it is, and they obviously don't Care about fire, safety, providing handicap facilities, nor providing the breakfast in its entirety. I chose this place over Other low-cost properties, because I thought that quality Inn had some standards, but apparently this property does not adhere to quality Inn standards.

I called on March 21 and requested a new garage door. On March 25 Josh Keen arrived and managed to tell me his whole life story while preparing the estimate. He did not see or ask me if I wanted a key pad. I was told that Keen had my garage door in stock at one of their neighboring businesses and that once the door was sent to Santa Rosa they would be in touch. On April 22, Derek arrived and installed the garage door but it was not the one that I had ordered and set aside for me. I ordered a garage door with windows and Keen installed one without windows. Another round of appointments were made and a worker came and dropped off the window panel for the upper part of the garage door. A few hours later another worker came and installed the panel and took the solid panel with him. He said another worker would be coming that same day with the key pad. I questioned if he had the right one and was assured he did. Of course he had 2 key pads on the truck but neither were compatible with my door!! You would think that at this point Keen Garage doors would expedite the case to simply install a key pad. But no!! They place me in the appointment queue and offer a complimentary one year membership to have my door serviced. What a joke. Who has time to set up appointments and deal with incompetent office people and workers. Finally on May 6 the key pad was installed. I wondered if this outfit had ever installed garage doors before and I also wonder how they stay in business.

The kind of guy that promises you the best in the world. Well when they delivered the door to install it the door was still wet from the stainer Door Pros had stain it. They swore it would be fine! Fast forward to 2026. I have had Door Pros out over 20 times to try and get the door properly working but every Tom, Dick, and Harry (smokers who smelled like a tobacco factory) they sent must have never been to garage door repair school. Joe the lead technician in the beginning told us the door needed to be taken off and sheetrock cut out so the door would run properly. The next Joe Schmoooo told us something different. So every guy that came out in 3 years had a different story. The last guy 2 months ago said it was installed wrong and he would have the owner call me next week but NEVER a call back. I even spoke with Josh the owner a few years ago and he said they would make it good. We finally said GOOD RIDDANCE to Door Pros. They aren't Pros at all. Just a company that gives a lot of talk and gives you no action. We called another company in SF and in once visit they told us Door Pros had installed the whole door wrong. Wrong springs, bend rails, etc. etc. The door after one visit works beautifully. So stay away from Door Pros. Listen to your gut. I wish I did as we wasted 3 years of our lives with that awful company. Too many photos to post but believe me I have them in a file of companies NOT TO USE.

This is going to be a long review because people need to know how disrespectful and unprofessional…read morethis company is. I called NBGD to get an appointment for an estimate on a garage door. We rent and our landlord left me in charge of finding a company that had the best price for a bottom of the barrel metal garage door. Tim came out and was actually very respectful and helpful. He took photos and explained to me that the guy that came out and "repaired" the door did a bandaid job that shouldn't be trusted. We talked and he explained what a door would cost and how they would have to remove our old wooden garage door. It sounded like it was something he wasn't really looking forward to doing the job because the wooden garage door was such a pain to deal with. Tim also mentioned that I would probably need a new opener as the one we had was old and not of very good quality. He told me a new one of those would run around 700-800 dollars. Before he left he said he would have an actual estimate done up for me, that Matt would be the one to do it as "that's all he's able to do right now". I was supposed to get the estimate on Monday but that came and went. It took texting Tim multiple times before Matt finally got the estimate to me two days later. The estimate included a new opener with the door and I sent it to my landlord for approval. My landlord, trying to save money, sent back the estimate with some notes on it and saying no to the opener as he bought a new one at Costco for less money. This is what started the fire. Matt apparently doesn't like his estimates being marked up. After multiple times at trying to communicate how much I needed to send for the deposit I was sent a very disrespectful email from Matt. I'm going to copy and paste some fo my favorite quotes from Matt . He started by explaining that the quote was for a "rock bottom" discount deal where 50 dollars was taken off the price of the opener and 200 off the door. He then said, "The operator price was discounted by $50 for that package deal. What is not included is phone call after phone call and several emails to find more ways to spend our time saving you (pronounced, costing us) even more money." So us going out and buying our own opener apparently was too much for him and he couldn't have us "saving money". My landlord is an attorney and sends his emails using his law firm email address. When Matt saw this he started taking jabs at my landlord as if he had been sued by my landlord at some time in the past. His next quote was to my landlord saying "Should I send an invoice for each 10th of an hour spent on your project so far? My time may not be considered valuable to you. However, it is my time and expertise that I sell on a per hour basis. Sound familiar?" He then went on to say "It certainly does not include having our quote marked up like a teacher would do to an elementary school writing assignment, with whatever changes you decide on and call it "good". As any good attorney knows, changes to a contract, dictate new consideration. We do not accept your proposed new consideration. " My landlord did this because he's used to working with contractors and job bids. He does construction defect cases. It's not that odd of a thing to make changes to an estimate if you don't want certain things. It's done all the time. Next he took away the previous estimate and went into "get every penny I can" mode. He quoted us "Since it appears that you are having an operator installed today, prior to having the door replaced, below would be the terms of the new contract, should you decide to accept it. Door price goes up $250. to $2,400. Operator price goes up $50. to $ 900. (Note: "store bought" operator rails come in a box that fits on a store shelf. They are not of the same quality as a garage door operator purchased through and installed by a professional with a solid 10' rail incurring a shipping charge and tariff from a neighboring country.) And because the installation for an operator attaching to a tilt-up door is completely different than the installation for sectional door, there will also be a $250. fee for removal and re-installation of the "new" store bought operator. VDS = $180. Remove and dispose of old door $150. New sub-total $4,180." The best part was that he emailed me again after I told him I declined this new estimate and would find a different company and telling him that his email was disrespectful. He didn't care, and basically said that's it's my fault for not reading the "$ with numbers". I would never use this company. The way they treated me says a lot about the company. I hope Matt can get whatever help he needs so he can learn to control his temper with possible clients.
