We had a very good experience with A&M. and will rent from them in the future. Their bikes are decent and customer service is great. We had a chain slip off on bike ride back to our unit one night. A&M apologized, gave us a new bike and extended our return by a few hours. They even let us know that we could contact them after hours should we have any problems after they closed. They say a business should be evaluated not by when things go well but how they respond when things don't go well. A&M passed this test with flying colors. Rented one of their electric cars. We got in & rode a little bit when we realized that all 4 of us in it were wet from the wet seats. Apparently they had washed it but didn't dry it at all. It looked dry but the foam in the seats was very wet. The car made a grinding sound the entire time we used it. It sounded like the brakes were grinding. Also the horn didn't work. We took it back early. When we explained the issues the worker gave us attitude saying we could have brought it back. Well that was exactly what we were doing. He offered no refund or discount. This place is a joke. Beware of the close to bald tires. Read the review of the issues their scooters have. They all have visible damage. They will blame that on you. Their prices are low for a reason. They do not proactively offer helmets. 1. Is renting an old scooter worth your life or the life of your loved one? 2. A company that does not offer you a helmet does not care about you. 3. If you die do to their faulty old scooters you cannot do anything about it as they do not have insurance. 4. Found this spot close to our hotel so we decided to rent a 2 person scooter. They picked us up at our hotel and took us to their location. Prices are very fair and they have a variety of really cool vehicles and scooters. Andy helped us out end gave us an extra few hours to cruise around since we missed our flight home. Our scooter was so fun to ride, they gave us one with a convenient basket to put our shopping bags in. It's nice to explore around the island. Not the nicest bikes but cheaper than every place and fast and my bf and I enjoyed them and we would rent these again over any other moped rental in the area. 4 stars because my speedometer didn't work on my bike and the mirrors you could barely see through and moved while driving so they were completely useless. It was cheap though and close and down the street you could park for free in front of the private school and it was right in the town so easy access to your car whenever if you wanted to leave it there overnight which I did. read more

Some friends and I rented a golf cart type thing for our Key West bar crawl and it was a great time! This company was very nice to deal with. They have lots of things to choose from, like golf carts, scooters, bikes, etc. we had an eight hour rental for about $120. Not A&M's problem or fault, but these things are hard to park. There's hardly any street parking available. But check this out-apparently while we were boozing it up the local police called A&M because we were parked illegally. I feel like A&M could have made money off this situation if they were a less scrupulous company, ie allowing it to be towed and hitting us with fines. But, they came out and parked the cart a block away (legally) and didn't charge us a dime. I think that speaks to the kind of company they are and I highly recommend them to anyone visiting Key West. read more

Run as far from this place as you can! They bikes are run down junk. As I am typing this out I'm waiting for a replacement bike at my hotel. I was told 15 minutes I would have one it's now been an hour and 15 minutes. I am at a music festival where time is of the essence. Half the time you call the shop nobody answers the phone and their mailbox is full, so no leaving messages. Just get a bike from any other place but this one read more

Don't look like much and the service is horrible. Rented a golf cart @ 1:00 pm and by 9:00 pm is breaks down. Had to get a tow truck to tow it back to not be charged a impound fee. Went in the morning and they refused any refund for the cost I had to pay. Then on top of that they accused me of breaking the golf cart. It's unbelievable for a company who rents these out everyday not to realize that wear and tear happens. It's unreal how they treat you with all disrespect because you are there on vacation and they know they can get away with it. Do a favor and rent from a company other than this one. read more

So during our key west trip we decided we didn't want to walk everywhere. First We decided to try to rent a car got to the airport to find they didn't have any to rent.so we had to seek out other forms of getting around. We stopped my A&M on Truman right down from our hotel. They where super good to us we first rented two scooters we had them for about an hour and half but my wife had a hard time with it. So we went back and asked if we could trade them in and pay the difference for the electric car and they worked with us and didn't bat an eye. He actually let us have the car for almost 3 days for the price of 2 great guys! Not only that when it was time to go to the airport 3 days after our rental was over(we biked it the rest of the trip) they gave us a ride to the airport! Top notch we will definitely use them next time in key west! We loved the electric car we drove that thing everywhere!
