That seems pricey for the average Joe but these fruit are not available all the time and the quality was good so I couldn't resist.

So sweet and full of juicy lychee flavor you cannot get in a can! Also, cherries are really cheap, cheaper than at other fruit stands or Whole Foods. 2 pounds $3!!!! Last week I paid $6.99 a pound at Whole Foods. Guava $5 a pound. Nothing like a sweet guava from Taiwan. Mangoes 2 for $1. Cheaper than at Whole Foods. Bring your cash! Now if you know our fam, you know that Bubs loves his fruit. We can't keep it, especially blueberries, in the house long enough for anyone else to enjoy but him. That's why, it's great when I pass here and I can't believe grab some on the way home. The prices are great and the people are quick at the counter. Also the selection is GREAT. It is a clean and fresh place that has many different types of food from a variety of vendors. We saw huge truffles, heaping hills of spices for every palate, and so many sweet treats. We decided to get meat, cheese, bread and some tarts from a couple of the merchants. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. We went mid-day and it wasn't crowded at all. A lot of good plant based items. The prices are okay and it's good most things are in bulk so you only have to get a little bit of something. Bulk items are how they go. It's got lots of things like dried beans, grains, and more. They are certainly very environmentally friendly, charging a fee for bioplastic bags, so they encourage customers to bring their own. Apparently it's Lower Manhattan's only food cooperative. To be a working member it's a $48 annual fee, and they work a few hours a week. Included are discounts on items. Those not working can pay a $60 annual fee to get discounts on things. For sure there's a lot of healthy stuff in here. It's also good to buy local. The store has tons of environmentally safe products as well as things for vegans and vegetarians.

Their roma tomatoes are so much riper than TJoe's as well.
